Thanks Mark! Yeh been wanting to video there for ages - you wouldn’t believe the day (and night!) I had doing that and the Mini 4 Pro vs Air 3 night mode - hectic! Cheers!🖖
This video had me smiling along for the ride, great advice and great humor! What I appreciate most about this - is that you go into the little details most times we forget to take into consideration. Keep on rocking!! 🖖
Kyle (Jason?) - that is a lovely comment to read and has really brightened up my day, thankyou!. I just do what I do, and know what I need to know to do it 🙂. I'm by no means an expert and still have plenty more to learn, but sharing my journey and what I've learnt is kindof what the channel is all about ( + some of the mistakes I've made - and keep bloody making 'FFS!!! PRESS F*****G RECORD, AMOK!!!' ). All the best!🖖
Thank you Wallybee! Really wanted to use it on this shoot, but as I had the Air 3 in the bag as well and it was a bit windy, just thought - why not!? All the best..🖖
Thanks Paul! Do keep an eye on restricted flight zones as one does sometimes pop up from time to time literally meters away from the south east side of the hill. 🖖
Very nicely done uav forecast i would say is 90% accurate have seen it getting the conditions well wrong but for 99pa month a worthy purchase great video mate
Thanks Johnny - Yeh - I agree - didn’t want to call it out directly, but that is one of the reasons I put that general caveat in there to check with other apps. It’s good as an initial guide though. The free version looks 24 hours ahead I think and the basic paid version looks 7 days ahead (just for anyone reading this). Cheers buddy! 🖖
That's a great video and the voice over was fab. Well I managed to get my drone in the outside air this week but it was only for a few mins, n nothing special as I was on a caravan park and it being a club site they do not allow drones to be flown from the site. I basically went up to 30 meters and about 50 meters away just across some farm fields, I have to say that it's surprising what you can see by going up only a small hight. also very surprised that you don't have to go very high before you can no longer hear then drone in the air anyhow hope to get some proper footage very soon and upload it for the world to see my master piece ...HAHAHA Been getting lots of ideas from your vids as wel Take care and all the best to you
Thanks Ste - yeh just a bit of fun at the end ;-) And I agree - the only time I really go to 120m is for hyperlapses above my garden cos in the still of the night you can still just about hear it at 120 when it’s overhead. During the day though 50m is about right. Caravan park can’t do anything about it if you don’t take off or land on their property by the way, but always good to be respectful. All the best! 🖖
OMG! I had to check myself - 1383m actually!. That is amazing! I don't tend to pay that much attention to the telemetry on the screen when flying as I'm so conscious of keeping keeping the drone in VLOS. I can honestly say that I could see it the whole time, but at the same time can 100% understand your comment! - I can only think that with the incredibly clear and cloudless sky and with the sun low and behind me it was just a complete outlier as far as VLOS was concerned! I'm paranoid now that perhaps I was watching a bird or something and not the drone! Need to do some experiments I think - shame days like that in the UK are few and far between... Anyway - thanks for watching! 🖖
Ah …Avebury and Silbury hill…. My most favourite place !
Great fun video as always
Cheers Mark 👍

Now you already can sell the masterpiece documentaries to History Channel! 🤣
That would be nice, although I think they may have some 'constructive feedback' about my editorial style 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for watching buddy! 🖖
Really enjoy your take on the Mini 4 Pro

You're making a point of VLOS, then the drone is over 1300 metres away. No, you can't convince me you can actually spot it at that distance 😂😂😂
