I'm excited to use it on the old Moen cartridges. How does it do on the Moen 1200B. The old metal one. I have had a few that I had to cut the valve out, due to hard water. The rubber on the metal one seem to weld to the sides and won't let it come out.

Hey Brandon...I'm not a professional plumber and will probably repair one, maybe two, Moen faucets in my lifetime so I can't justify spending $175 for your beautifully machined puller. How di you repair these faucets befoe you made your own? I don't have a puller only common hand tools. Please enlighten me (us). Thanks.
There is a video of a guy who made his own variation of a Moen cartridge extractor using galvanized threaded pipe. That is made using common tools found within what most DIYers already have.
