BEAUTFIUL TRAILER!!!!!!!!!!!!! This really may be the sleeper hit of the year. We all knew Elden Ring and GoW were the top dogs, but this sure does look like it's ready to stand it's ground against them. Especially given that it's a new studio where they have a lot to prove and probably had to fight hard for the funding and resources to make this game. Thank god for Glen Schofield and the Dead Space veteran team. These guys and Capcom are single handingly keeping survival horror alive and in top form.

Being a Dead Space veteran, beat all 3, DLC included, Ignition, the first one over 15 times, I can say in truly enjoyed the vision of Callisto. I see the reviews, but IMO, this game had huge atmosphere. I dont regret my purchase at all.
I love the guy who created this and Dead Space. You can tell he has a real passion for gaming - especially when most modern games are degrading in quality.

Everything about this trailer reminds me of the launch trailer for the first Dead Space. The restless atmosphere of the game combined with a song that appears to be calm and comforting. Fascinating.
Oh man I was concerned that this wouldn't be as epic as ds2 or 3 in terms of set pieces and scale but this trailer was so beautiful. I'm taking the day off to play this at midnight with all the lights off. 😈
@@radiatedritch how do you know? I played the DS games when they came out. So I know what to expect of DS Remake. Callisto takes the basic game design of DS and does a new spin on it. As of now DS Remake being better or worse than Callisto can't be said for sure.

Ive been replaying through Dead Space (2008) in the meantime, with Reshade and some QOL mods in anticipation for The Callisto Protocol. As well as to help pass the time in the coming days leading up to release. It cant come any sooner cant it? :P I hope that it may turn out great as a game and for you. And that when it does come out that you guys will enjoy :]

What I noticed about the Biophage enemies is that they look like the original concept for the Necromorphs in the planning for the first Dead Space. Like bloated, bubbly humanoids with messed up teeth. Same goes with Issac Clarke, he originally was going to have melee weapons like arm blades or a baton. Even his original suit concept have a visor somewhat close to Jacob's. To me Callisto Protocol was amazing, but its also the Dead Space we never got, imagine this type gameplay and enemies in the original Dead Space. Also in case anyone is wondering how I found the concepts for the original Dead Space, I have the Art of Dead Space book. It shows what so,e things were going to look like originally or could have looked like.
Also to add to your point. Originally Dead Space was supposed to take place on a prison. Ship or planet. Point being is Callisto Protocol is essentially what Glen had envisioned.
I cannot wait for this!! If it's as good as we all hope it will be, I seriously think Striking Distance should think about doing a potential live-action adaptation in the future with Glen having as much creative control as possible. Heck, set in the same universe with different characters, I'd still watch it!!

I can't believe I just heard about this game/trailer. I've been creating a DnD campaign for the last 6 months for my group based on similar themes but with a big bad guy based on/powered by the moon - a moon named Callisto, named after the moon of Jupiter. What a world of coincidences we live in.

I love when games use real actors for games adds a sense of cinema to games and with how incredible graphics are these days I think we should see more of that going forward whilst also continuing to use lesser known but equally great actors like Christopher Judge I’m excited to see what Duhamel and Fukuhara bring to this game in performance Karen is brilliant in The Boys and I’ve always been a fan of Duhamel throughout his career
I've had mine pre ordered for a while and this is probably one of the best launch trailers on this type of game it looks absolutely epic the graphics look amazing I just hope the game plays a little bit faster than dead space but other than that looking forward to this especially in the dark with 3-D audio headphones

@@citizen3000 it’s a choice. Sometimes it’s a bad idea and sometimes it’s just cause you love a game. It’s neutral. Mostly just depends on how it’s used.
I can't believe I just heard about this game/trailer. I've been creating a DnD campaign for the last 6 months for my group based on similar themes but with a big bad guy based on/powered by the moon - a moon named Callisto, named after the moon of Jupiter.
What a world of coincidences we live in.

I love when games use real actors for games adds a sense of cinema to games and with how incredible graphics are these days I think we should see more of that going forward whilst also continuing to use lesser known but equally great actors like Christopher Judge I’m excited to see what Duhamel and Fukuhara bring to this game in performance Karen is brilliant in The Boys and I’ve always been a fan of Duhamel throughout his career
IMO using real actors unnecessarily wastes money for not much gain

As someome who got into survival horror games this year im really excited for this one
I've had mine pre ordered for a while and this is probably one of the best launch trailers on this type of game it looks absolutely epic the graphics look amazing I just hope the game plays a little bit faster than dead space but other than that looking forward to this especially in the dark with 3-D audio headphones
