After watching this footage I can understand why Tom Hardy was so frustrated with the film. It must not have been easy for him to be tied to the front of a moving car for several hours waiting until the director has all the shots he wants. I'm happy he apologized later after watching the final result.

Let's not forget that they did this is a very hot place. It's the environment surrounding him that made him, George, Charlize and the rest of the cast stressful about making the movie. Just wanna say that they're effort into making this was absolutely worth it

Movies need time. Investors are I such a rush to get a return on investment they rush production including CGI, it's generally faster. Practical or CGI, rushed products are going to be shit.
This is the most impressive movie I've ever seen. Now I can't even concentrate on my studies because of this movie. I am really touched.... I like the story and philosophy inhereted in.

And this is why practical effects are generally better then CGI. It's incredible how much work they put into this-and it all turned out wonderfully amazing!

Sirena don;t get me wrong, when the film was first shown I assumed it was green screen, but then I found out very quickly it was real stunts...there are still a lot on the trailer comments claiming it is all fake.

@@Liface You can have fun and also find parts of what you're doing frustrating at the same time. At times you can see them thoroughly enjoying it in these videos. Of course there is also drama and the fact they're in the desert for six months doing grueling work.
how refreshing to see a film with real acting and stunts . With over 303 stunts sequences. There were no CGI men jumping off, or hanging of the vehicles. But real stunt men. Now this is how it should be done , with stunt coordinator Guy Norris , who did some of the most amazing stunts of films gone by, doing his last and most fantastic stunt in the film. No, that was not a CGI ten-ton, sixteen wheel truck at 60mph driving directly into a wrecked 16-wheeler, without slowing down , that was REAL and so was the driver Norris . Woo hooo about time we had films made the way it uedto be. Loved it :)

Real acting? Really? Look I love this film, definitely one of my favourites of the year. But the acting (which is good in this film) is not the draw. There's a lot better acting in many other films. But I 100% agree with you on the practical effects. It's so awesome seeing lots of practical effects used instead of tonnes of green screen and CGI.

I really hope they make a sequel to this amazing movie. When this film came out, I was blown away. Still to this day it ranks in my top 10 films of all time.

Hugh Keays-Byrne a lead role and the far better known actor giving honest and heartfelt praise to supporting war boys, and the boys reaction back...I have a feeling there was a lot of camaraderie in the making of this movie...I mean just look at the end product, a modern action masterpiece.

The more is see of just what went into this movie, the more unbelievable it all seems. It's like a juggling act, which just increases in intensity. The fact that this all came together so perfectly is astounding and awfully inspiring.

I like how these movies premise isn't really about the main character at all, but rather the people he's surrounded by or chooses to surround himself by. What even happens to him underneath the surface is known, but he seems to have an...explosively profound impact on either cause. Almost gives you a FP look at the world around 'em.
Hugh Keays-Byrne was playing the bikers leader in the very first Mad Max. George Miller loves his baddies! Must be super cool to be on the set with a director like him.

This shit is magical. The actors, the director, the stuntmen, the cameramen, everyone who came together to make this. For the past year or so I've felt a really deep desire to start acting, so I can be a part of things like this- but I haven't had the opportunity, and I don't have any money for acting classes; I'm only 16, but I feel like I've missed the boat to start developing proper acting skills and stuff... And yet I still feel like I need to learn and try this out, like I neeeed to- If anybody here has any advice on how to get started, I'd really appreciate it!
