    I had assumed the colour difference was a result of only fermentation length but I learned today that it can be from steaming. Thank you for the video

    Sooooo good to know. It literally took me decades to find a miso that I REALLY liked. It's Marukome's Organic Miso, reduced sodium.....LOVE IT and making it as I type. Thank you.

    Wow! I learned so much about Miso! I wish I saw this video before I bought my first miso, which was last week. There were so many varieties, I was so confused which one I should try first. Good thing, I got a simple Miso, with no dashi and it turned out just like restaurant style! I’ve saved this video for future reference, as I will definitely try some of the other variations of Miso! Thank You So Much 🥣🥣🥣🥣🧚🏾‍♀️🙌🏽💖🕯️💫

    May I ask.. How do you store miso and for how long after you opened it?

    • @asakusa-tokyokitchen
      @asakusa-tokyokitchen  3 роки тому +3

      Miso is fermented so it never goes bad as long as you use clean spatula when you take it out from the package 😉.
      The easiest way to use miso is dipping sauce for vegetable sticks. 2 mayo (Japanese mayo if available) and 1 miso !
