We booked FR Arona today for my wife. I must car is quite good. I was stuck between Kamiq and Arona. Although both are brilliant cars Arona felt quite spacious even when considering it is 10cm shorter. The amount of standard kit on FR is amazing if you compare it with Kamiq style. Thomas I got an interesting question. Does the new Seat Arona get XDS ? When I checked the last price list for model 2017, all the Aronas with HP 100+ got the XDS. When I checked the new price list for the 2021 Arona, only the FR trim got the XDS. Can you confirm this ?
In the UK the Xperience model does not have the digital dashboard of the Xperience lux model and is not even available as an option. I note that in Germany they have a completely different model range. Something to note for UK viewers.
Even though I’ve now jumped ship to BMW, I adored my Altea so much that I owned it for 14 years and it was so reliable. The reason I’d never have another SEAT is the utterly woeful dealer network here in the UK. Mind you, I’ve not exactly been blown away by the BMW dealers so far either!
Should I buy this or the T Cross? Which is the better car? I'm confused, it used to be the Seat was a more value option than the VW but now the difference is negligible and so, it would seem is the perceived quality, I'm confused....
The driving characteristics are fine, the trunk is large (in the class). It's a shame the parking camera doesn't have guide lines like other cameras in the group or other brands have. The park assist is not enough agile - it has no worth for slightly experienced drivers. The navigation is slightly strange (an experience with dissonce between car map and the voice navigation).
Does anyone experience a quiet static like wind noise from the front of theirs when above 50? Its not loud but is noticiable wind noise, Ive read Arona's are quite bad with wind noise but unsure whether what I'm experiencing is due to a fault somewhere?
I have this issue too...have you found a solution? I cannot figure out what it is. I am thinking also that may comes from the sensors on the top of the windshield behind the driver rear view mirror.
@@autogefuel Mmm, I (politely) expressed how I felt watching the video, thinking it through, the usual 'Thomas driving lounge' was/is a one to one delivery of a car review and driving experience. As well as being great entertainment, it is a trusted source of factual info and test drive that was key to my choice of a new car back in early May. I'm awaiting delivery of a tiguan elegance next month, VW call the colour nightshade blue but everyone knows that it's 'Thomas blue' someone should let them know 😉 Anyway, back to 'why' ; by comparison to the usual 'one to one' delivery, this video was more like listening in on someone else's conversation. That's the best explanation I can offer. I hope it helps.

I recommend T-cross after my experiences with Arona. Arona is not bad car but T-cross has more valuable equipment (in quality)
Waiting time for one of these is Months I ordered one at the end of May current delivery time is at the end of November at the earliest

You should start hearing wind noise above 100km/h
