      Prices are buggered the UK too mostly because they changed the antique firearm law last year so some guns you could own without a license you cant own now.. they say its to stop the guns getting into the hands of criminals but criminals never use these guns they are nearly always rocking Glock 17s they get from the Police and Army (theres gang members within the police and Army that steal them) or other handguns they've made themselves or illegally imported (handguns are harder to legally obtain in the UK than a .50 cal or AR-15)

      I visited a local pawn shop and found a J.C. Higgins model 20 12 gauge in mint condition. I couldn't find a scratch on it anywhere and the bluing is about 98%. I walked out the door with it for $235 total. I'm very happy I stopped by that store.

    They are still out there. I probably looked like a gun nut postal worker the other day. I stopped in a pawn shop here in Ohio, Found a 7.35mm Carcano for 175.00, TWO yes TWO Browning A5's both belgain, one 1936 the other 1958, one 3" one 2 3/4" the 2 3/4" had a spare matching Mod. barrel for 1000.00 for the pair, and a Walther P1 with spare matching mag for 200.00. I bought them all.

    Actually, I picked up a Uberti 44 cal cap and ball revolver for 70 bucks at a gun store. After some rust removal, it looks beautiful and functions flawlessly. 12 bucks for 50 rounds of ammo, 11 bucks for 100 caps, and 15 bucks for a half pound of powder.

    120$ for a break action shotgun is nothing to sneeze at. I'd count it just for the utilitarian factor. Between the wide range of ammo available for shotguns and the drop in adapters allowing for smaller cartridges to be fired, youve got a pretty solid survival gun. The fact he got one that folds nearly in half is a backpack bonus. All it needs is a sling, some paracord wrapping and storage in the stock for some small tools and you're good to go.

    • @mikehoward8201
      @mikehoward8201 2 роки тому +1

    • @xMrBlack
      @xMrBlack 2 роки тому

      @@mikehoward8201 perfect, it's absolutely a solid contender for a survival or pack gun. I thought the stock might be hollow because it's synthetic but I know not all of them are. A lot of them, but not all of them.

    The coolest gun i ever got at a Pawn shop was a Springfield armory 1911 GI model that was heavily customized already, and had a unique hammer kit on it to where it can actually de-cock it, and when you press down on the thump safety the hammer pops back up ready to fire. I paid $510 for it.

    Great video. Yeah I think you guys are about 3 years removed from the good $100 to $300 dollar deals. I was doing some research looking back and man! Deals were so plentiful back then. Used Glocks and M&Ps would regularly go for mid 200s easy. You could even find used Sig P320s and P226 for $330 and below. Crazy Value. Now we only have a few companies giving crazy deals and you have to strike while the iron is hot on them.

    I had a issue with my rounds from Callaway Ballistics. Some of my rounds were coming apart after I chambered them a few times. I emailed them they explained it to me, Assured it wasn't an issue and even refunded me partial of my order. I will definitely be doing business with them. They know how treat and value customers.

      Rounds coming apart isn't an issue?

      @@shaunn7778 They explained these rounds were Crimped lighter than their other rounds because they are more competition based round. So they can have the tendency to separate easily if they chambered over and over again. I've shot them, The work. Just wont be testing magazines with those.

      @@NBWDOUGHBOY crimping is a silly rationale. We are talking about malleable brass. The lightest competition powder charge can easily overcome it.

      @@shaunn7778 Yeah. Im not caping for them. It was concerning that's why I emailed them. They honored my refund which I appreciate. I've been dealing with Shltty customer service all week.

    You would never believe what I have found for $100 , when older people are planning to sell their guns to a buyback program. $50 for pistols, and $100 for long guns, and they give you a gift card, instead of cash.

    You guys heard of Price's Creek? Get a 1,000 rounds, an AK, and a BLT while listening to ridiculous fishing stories.

    You should check out butlers pawn in Forest City, I got myself a SigSauer p320xf from there. They have a great selection of a variety of different stuff. Just recently found your channel. Great content. Keep up the good work.

    I found a $100 hi point out at a gun shop in CA. It's possible but it'd a matter of timing too. It was also the best find because it was so lightly used too

    Pawn shops seem to turn up some interesting pieces. It gets rather lack luster when you go to a gun store and see the norm, glocks, sigs,etc
