- Today, we are finished with the Saturn and it’s time to start work on the Mustang. This BBC should be really fast, and hopefully reliable. This engine will be boosted with a 118mm turbo and will be on Holley EFI! Let’s get it ready!

Holy moly! Turbo John's gonna have a racecar with neat, organized wiring! Folks, this is one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind.😄
😂😂😂😂
😂
9:11 Im still impressed by the aarm fab work lol... that freakin wheel was rock steady through all that travel.
Mike clearly knows what he is doing!
Or drag n drive Saturn 😮
Our Dude has an entire BBC *Behind* the front spindles...
Weight percentages are going to be Wild on this car!
He will be able to get the percentage he wants without having to add (500lbs in the back like he used to)
Yep, with that engine placement, a chrome moly double frame rail chassis and the long travel front struts this thing will be a monster on No Prep surfaces!
🎉🎉 LOOKING GOOD BROTHER 💯. I CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH THE GROUP OF FOLK THAT ARE IN THIS CIRCLE WOW🎉 THANKS FOR THE UPDATE AND GOD BLESS ALL THUMBS 👍
I'm just gonna say it. This ain't no junk! Keep it nice!
Big Block valve covers look nice!
its looking great!!!!!!!!!!, glad to see yall support St. Jude, Satran would be a good start for a young racer
like seeing a racecar in a neighborhood carport
Gonna be nice car
She looks awesome TJohn!🤩🤩💪💪
Man this is gonna be so nice can't wait to see you out there kicking ass
I think whoever buys the Saturn if they did a radial tire setup it would be pretty decent chassis.
She’s looking good buddy 👍🏻🔥
Came to your senses🤘🇺🇸
You deserve to have a good car it looks like one thanks for the video
Kelly's shirt is awesome.
Looking good keep it up 👍👍👍👍
Good job
Hide the wire nuts and zip ties kelly
You should be out testing by the end of July if everything goes to plan!
Good luck the Mustang is going to be NICE!!
Thanks for sharing this video with us
Good stuff man
Looks awesome 😎
Nice!!
Looking good! 👍👍
What kind of times you looking for this setup to run? I’m ready to see it going down the track in competition
Love ya pal all the best
That Big Block looks really nice in there though, and yes that Saturn looked totally different and a nice roller now. I have my Holley Terminator X ECU (for my NHRA Stocker), mounted on a mount and on an electronics board I fabricated & setup, the Main Power Harness, and a Deutch Connector kit on the way (switching out all my existing engine ECM/PM harness/ sensor connections first (and will do a last fire up and verify everything works again, so I have a quick 3 hr. or less emergency switchback to existing as of now
starting point option, so if I have a Holley issue (without a spare nearly $800 buck ECU,) and needed to get the car back running overnight at an event, I could just reinstall my existing sensors and plug it all right back in before the next morning and be back racing in an emergency situation).
Am currently waiting for a buddy to send me the labeled up unterminated J1A/J1B 15' Harness and wideband O2 Sensor and will begin custom measuring, cutting terminating and wiring it up soon to all the sensors. In the meantime I will install the split Grommet in the firewall and the main power harness, ECU, mounting board, and MSD Solid State Relay.
Just taking my time as I have 1 more Summit Bracket night race in mid July at Las Vegas, then nothing until early Sept. (So will bring the car home from Storage in Vegas then to complete the work and wire it real cleanly!) Errr...all labeled clear and concise well run circuits w/ strain reliefs & w/no wire nuts TJ...lol. Lots of well spaced and trimmed heated end (use a bic lighter on the cut ends and just touch the end w/ the 🔥, as it just slightly melts that sharp edge and blunts it smooth and round, hint, a lil' robotics trick), zippy ties.
I know you hate wiring so you are doing right to have yours done professionally right, but I love that part of finish detail work myself.
Do you race in NHRA Division 7 or do you race nostalgia stuff like ANRA?
Good luck, sounds fun!
Be awesome to see ya win DOD in its first race.
So now there's only the 300 small jobs to do.
Do yall ever go to Carolina Dragway to test or race ??
I will be working in Atkin for the next several months and would love to meet yall if yall race there any.
👍
Measure up those front tires/wheels those are way out in the front, way in at rear brother, no way tracking correctly. I know you mentioned it in the vid, but easily seen for my OCD.
Put twin turbo on it
I don’t think that is in his budget.
That’s the thing ppl don’t understand unless you raced there is a lot of pushing a car around.
Really glad they used a car to carefully roll it back down the driveway. His new car would not have looked good halfway through the back wall of the garage! 😬
LOL, you ain't wrong about that...... Would have made for some good youtube though...lol
How is Brian making out with his shop?
Making some progress, but things will be a lot different for sure.
Hey there Sir @Turbo John , I just finished watching Gen2Garage. The master cylinder you're using for the Mustang looks like it will work on their newest project.
What's the manufacturer's info??
I thought the very same thing...Get the info on those master cyls. To Jeff, Allison, and Tommy of Gen2Garage TJ.
It might just clear the turbo setup of their 6 cyl Tornado from Mopar in the duster but they would still need to hack up or cut the left side of the Duster dash. Jeff can clean it up so it is not a hack job finished product (a quick release removable dash corner?) To fill the master cyl., and a re-route of the brake lines through the properly grommeted firewall.
Scrolled all these comments just to not find a Saturn price 😭
He wants 18K OBO....... Hope you are doing good bud!
Hey man hook up the Saturn for kelly😮
Are you gonna keep the glizzard name?
No, it has no name
put a big bad rotary in that saturn would fly
Brap brap brap.
My ears hurt just thinking about this!
Is the Saturn still for sale?
Yes, he still has it for sale.
@@TurboJohnRacing how much does he want for it?
Or who do I need to talk to to find out about it
@@MouseMotorsports was asking 18, but it may be negotiable.
THANK YOU. I stopped watchin/paying attention once I seen that monstrosity💯
