- The car is now dropped off at wiring..... Go sub to @DRAGWIRESOLUTIONS to see some updated progress. WOW, in just a little over two weeks we have taken the tube chassis roller and now it's off to wiring. I have made lots of progress and now the car is almost ready for fire in the hole. Once Austin gets done with the wiring, I will have a few things to do, but hopefully in a couple weeks we will be able to fire this thing up and get to testing.......
If you need anything wired on a car, be sure to hit Austin up. He wires it all, not just Holley.......

You can just see in your face how excited you are for this car. It won’t be long now!
Looking forward 👌 to the fire 🔥 up and the first test passes. Big blocks are awesome 👌. God Bless ya'll ❤
CJ NEEDS YOUR SATURN !! HELP HIM OUT FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON!!
Tj doesn't own the Saturn.I don't see that Saturn being competitive enough for No prep....
Good job bro
nice work brother cant wait to see what you can do with this car
This New Car is going to take @turbojohn to the next level !!!
Depending on whose block, it should have a gallery port around the filter boss, but Luke u said put you a small manifold up on tje firewall that's accessible and just feed it with a #4 line.
Looking forward to seeing the car come back home with solid wiring TJ…. Be making passes soon!
Looks great. Can’t wait to see it finished
John, it's looking great and the wiring is going to change the car & inspire you to stay motivated and finish it up quickly. I hate that you let someone get to you in the comments, you know that the short bussers that leave rude comments, don't know sh about cars, ain't never had anything other than a 4.6 2v Mustang they bought with the mufflers cutoff, and they leave pissed off comments bc their mom upstairs don't have their grilled cheese ready yet!!!
I'm sure I sound like a goober saying this but I'm genuinely as proud for you as if I knew you really well! I know that you're a grateful guy and I only have but one thing to say that's critical.. Better put some dune buggy slider brakes on it bc you ain't gonna be steering with the front wheels!!!😂😂
Was great to speak to you on NPK live chat this weekend again Tj
John this is going to be one sweet and freaking fast ride brother. Loving the progress can't wait to hear it fire off!!!
You’re killing it boss.👍
Man it’s getting better and better love this new car can’t wait let’s go TJ ✌🏻😎
Congrats tj extremely happy for you ! You and team are great
Awesome John I can’t wait too see the DOD Small Tire winners circle pic. CID makes hands down THE BEST FLOWING/FITTING 90 elbow on the market John! Would be a GR8 match for that RFD intake you’ve got there. 😄
Smart Choices John.......
Wishing You ALL the Best!
Looking forward to the fire up but man that firewall is Scary as hell!
John on your oil feed put a -6 nipple in the block and a short hose up to a bracket on the intake with a T so you have an outlet for oil pressure and supply for the turbo
Feed the turbo oil from above the filter. There’s a port already there.
Cant wait to see the car go down ,I bet your ready huh 💯Great job guys
Lookin awesome buddy looking forward to seeing you rippin. You can always extend the oil lines and bring them out closer to the valve cover area or something, im sure whatever you come up with will be just fine
Good ole St. Paul’s
Loving this build John! Looking forward first fire up and testing!!
Looking good John! I like the idea of the remote oil filter to solve the oil feed line issue. I eluding use that port behind the intake. Just too hard to access and more importantly to work on if you had a leak.
Looking good John. Can’t wait till it making hits.
I hope you took him heaps of wire nuts for the job.
Super nice work TJohn!🤩🤩💪💪
The cars is looking great John!
Go to Lowes and get a 6-8in brass pipe to bring the oil tap to higher the brass pipe that size is small enough to fit between the block and mid plate then you can tee off it and go wherever you want
Mount a brass T to the firewall for your oil pressure on the rear of block. Just use whatever length line it takes to accomplish your goals.
I thought Big Block Chebbys had the oil pressure galley on the side by the filter. Do they have one behind the China wall like a small block? It's been a LONG time since messed with one of those things! I need one now, but I want an aluminum one!! $$😥
On your oil pressure, just use a flex line to a tee fitting for your sensor and feed to your turbo. Could possibly mount the tee to the firewall also. Looking good John, won't be long now!
Is Pete Harrell doing your music!?!?!!?? Love it
That go lithium battery isn’t cheap either. I bought one for my stang last year, bout 1200$ worth. Works really good though. Can’t wait to see this thing make a lick
You could get rid of the elbow and run a plate from the dominator flange to the throttle body. I did it this way for a few years until I bought a flying toilet throttle body.
Do like the small block fords and us a had threaded extension for the oil feed and just put a T at the top. One side oil pressure and the other turbo feed.
I use the same Holley transition with a factory hood, you will not need much of a cowl hood to cover.
It’s a bbc there is an oil pressure port just above the oil filter. It is all so 3/8 pipe.
That car is really starting to look bad a$$, John. I look forward to seeing it finished and making passing. I have been using Curtis since 95, and Dan is now the front guy,Vbut Curtis still does all the design work. Curtis had the intakes designed, so it's a more direct flow to the heads. Last year Curtis released a new Brodix Big 9, and after I talked to him about them, I want a set, but it's gotta wait because I just got the new 13° sbc from them and they flow what a 355cc bbc does, it's crazy, water head and all.
Running extension pipe nnt off of that Nice N Easy
We had the same problem with a friend's car with the oil pressure port we just ran a -4 line about 10" long to the block port and t'ed it off for oil pressure sensor and turbo feed and mounted it to the firewall
Looking good 👍🏻
put a rigid pipe nipple in to extend the oil feed above the intake lip ..
That music 🎵 sound like some Pete Harold 😮. HED???? Maybe, maybe not 😂
Run a small line up and mount a oil sensor block.
Cool!!
Looks good John, Was that a Charlie Buck engine ? That would be a trip it made it back to N.C. I think hes in King N.C.
🎉🎉 BUSY,BUSY ❤IT 👍💪 GOD BLESS ALL 🎉🎉
John, really like the music you use in your videos. How do I find this, I'm interested in making a video myself.... thanks
Put twin turbo on it it will go faster and the one single turbo
Where they located, I want my wiring tidied up in my 94 turbo Silverado
Look into a set of oil less comp turbos
productive criticism: Gasoline and other chemicals eats silicone , I learned the hard way.
No replacement for displacement 😮
Way too nice of a race car to have rat’s leaving a nest. You’re a good driver & tuner. But neat wiring 👎
