Patch Notes just dropped for Season 4 and the patch will be live on May 28th. Gold cost for Masterworking has been reduced drastically, Scattered Prisms will be dropping more often and also from Treasure Goblins and The Butcher. As well as various other gameplay and class bug fixes.

This is my copium, hope you’re right. Tried every build and 500m+ gold deep finally finding a fun build to push instead of solo snooze fest thorns. If bash is nerfed, there are no other end game options other than thorns. Overpower nerf killed upheaval, double swing, and hota. That needs to be addressed because dust devils post ptr nerf leaves us with scraps of a broken unplayable endgame.
Aka they backtracked the bug fix due to outrage.

The Butcher literally needs a loot buff. I see him like once or twice every season and either I’m prepared and whoop him for a legendary that sucks, or he violates me and now I gotta get my flow back

Do you get all glyphs to 21? I've seen him at least 15 times. Regardless you are right, they announced a buff next week , it will be dropping the prisms that give gem slots. I say it's a good direction but a bigger buff would be necessary to make it worth the kill. Especially if you play HC
Do you still find him? It's been like a week for me and haven't seen any. unless I ust one shot and not notice. but i'd notice the boss symbol

I really want a horse buff. I'm so tired of the short sprint duration.
They want you to "admire' the cosmetic = buy the battle pass.

Thank goodness for scattered prism. I did WB whenever it was up but I never got over 10.
now they just need to make stygian stones more common on higher tier pits , and pit rewards like greater affixes gear and materials scale with higher tiers like 100+ and above
There should be a way to replenish tempering durability. Make it expensive, make it rely on an exotic material or currency. Bricking perfect items because of tempering is beyond awful...
That's why you grind for end game items. Its part of the gameplay.

I agree, they should add something for this: either expensive, super rare, very grindy, just something to give you hope. I played for over 70h this season and my best drop was only one item with 2 greater affixes that I needed for my build. Fortunetly I didn't brick it while tempering, but if they are so rare, I can't imagine how does it feel to lose a 3 greater affixes item because of RNG (I didn't even drop one and then you also need to have the correct stats).
@@nicholasestes4028 the “grind” would be getting these exotic currencies or immense amounts of gold. the bottleneck in arpg’s should always be currency/materials that you can farm, not the actual items themselves.
I feel like we REALLY need the option to keep previous tempering or new one like you can when Enchanting.
They need to remove the cap and make it like enchanting where the cost to do it keeps getting higher.
@@513gposey facts, i have no idea why it isn’t the same as masterworking. pay a SET amount of gold (not increasing like enchants) to reset both tempers and get 5 more attempts.
really ruins top end trading too imo because why would i go buy a 100M+ item just to brick it in 30 seconds due to none of my tempers hitting
Totally agree. They need to get rid of eastern arpg ideas like this where you have a small chance of success when crafting your gear and if you don't get it you lose the item. This is a predatory design made for p2w arpg games so it doesn't work in D4. While at it, also get rid of the developer who made the final decision for how masterworking works.
We don't need the game eame easier. It's easy enough as it is.

Glad I never switched from Double Swing to Bash, looks like Thorns will be the S tier build for Barbs now.
Oof I was playing a pulv druid and it was not that great and was thinking that bash barb seems fun to play. Guess not.
I’m double swing too but disagree with blizzard pulling the rug out from under people like this. The players didn’t know it was a “bug”. Your game isn’t that serious blizzard, fix it next season.

Bash beats even with this change doppel swing hard, even in a dust devil twister build.
Go stun Bash, and take the +resource on basic attack, with CD on base attack, and you run perma berserk 2h mace basher, who can us berserk and second node +30% resource gain, plus +75% from rings and amu, and extra fury on stun...you create twister with every hit, and still gets your +1200% additive dmg on normal bash hits.
And for thorns, life, life life, +1 uniq item, works with all skills.
So the holy bolts from minions isn't a bug?
Nope your minions get all the bonuses you get including pots
The holy bolt minions are a bug. There are several youtubers breaking down how it's currently bugged.
The Necro minions count as monsters and scale to the average monster level in the zone. Then the holy bolt elixir scales off the minions level and further double dipping bonuses on top. It's why tormented bosses with adds, like Duriel, have chunks of their hp cut during add phases.
This will most likely be addressed in a future patch. I'm honestly surprised that it wasn't in this patch.
"Multiplicative being reduced to additive." So less so being brought back down to earth and more piledriving it back down from space lol.

Update here- there’s no actual nerf. It was basically an error in the patch notes (pezradar said they introduced an internal bug that they fixed before it went live, but that fix was put into the notes by mistake)
Tempering and affix hunting is still just too punishing. Game feels great until you get to endgame. Then it feels like it's one pitfall or another that doesn't equal fun. Is it better? Yes. But for this being advertised as a journey you begin with a piece of gear it feels like a pucker your butt and cringe that you dont brick a greater affix weapon or piece of armor with the tempering system or go broke trying to get ranks of hell ent commander on a neck.
I wish my guy, The Butcher, would appear in Pits.
Or at least a similar boss, that's specific to ambushing in Pits.

I would love to see the sorc dmg fixed, namely getting half of the vulnerable effect
So no fix for the sorcerer's multiple issues causing the class to deal significantly less damage, especially with vulnerable?!

That Barbarian's bash fixed issue was removed on the patch notes. I just checked. hmmmm..
no change for sorc aspects and paragon node with proper scalling vulnerable DMG ;/ sorc still the worst class por Pit pushing ;/

Why does tempering, unlike Master Work or enchanting, potentially destroy an item?
When you have loot reborn as a season theme, this part really sucks - you find an item and never can be sure you will really be able to use it before you tempered it
I just wonder when will blizzard fix the traversal stutter? I mean I get all the gameplay updates are important but i just find it mind numbing to just run and get hit by the streaming of assets loading stutter...
I can run around like 5-10 meters and the frametime line will be flat as a dead heart but as soon as I start running straight i keep getting spikes.
And no it's not my PC as I got i5 11400 at 4.2ghz, 3090, Gen 4 M2 SSD, 32 gigs of one of the fastest DDR4 3600 CL16 32 gig...
I've seen a lot of reports on traversal stutter. I don't mind city stutters as it's players as well but world stutter and dungeon stutters are maddening. :/

I wanna see enchanting come down a bit, pretty rough the way it compounds to millions a roll for one stat
I don't think that anyone outside of the requite few weirdos were asking for a buff to any enemies in Helltide. It's were players mostly go to level and I'm already seeing people regular die en masse in Blood Maiden fights. Sure, OP builds are still going to cruise but that's kinda missing the entire point. Higher tiers of the Pit are there for "the challenge", Helltide is just for leveling, gathering gear etc and I would previously thought...fun.
I wish they would change the price of crafting gems from gem dust, it feels so expensive for how much I pick up at a time.
good thing I took a break from pit to boss mats for a sec. was gonna dump resources to try the bash hype. double swing dd is fast n fun but high pits unless I play on point I get one or two tapped. transitioned to zero CD quake/thorns tho slower I can face tank n clear pit 75 (super expensive, -200mil gold in rerolls and masterworking n still need GA armor pieces for hp). would've been a massive bust to drop another 200mil and mats into a build that would perform on par with dd double swing

and frequent disconnects! Right now it DC every 20-30 minutes, kinda unpleasant.

What crashes
Before the last update d4 was running fine for me no crashes but after that constant crashes and disconnect
Could possibly be due to playing Necro but the jewels generally feel a bit redundant right now. Easy to cap both armor & resistances....but again that could be down to being an int class
Reading the comments I feel people don't understant the difference between a nerf and a bug fix. The temper affixes clearly stated + damage and not X damadge. Fixing what was supposed to be is not a nerf
Oh they know the difference...The salt is real. Barbs crushed last season, and they're crushing this season. Many just want a reason to complain.

Farm the smaller field of hatred they drop allot there in my experience.
Idk why people complain about this. You can use the smaller ones and change them when you have enough materials. I got my 5 hp royal gems a few days ago just by doing helltide.
and the double dipping on holy bolts stays in the game? oneshotting pit 140er+ bosses on necro minion master? great.....
Holy bolts elixir is a separate issues that affects all classes and people would be furious if they nerfed that. And Barb was significantly stronger than all other classes, just like they are every season.

Is the game really buggy for anyone else now? Lots of invisible walls?
Also, the laser beam from Uber Anderial is invisible. I haven’t played since season one, didn’t know the fight and just kept dying as soon as she got to half health. Only when I checked UA-cam I saw the skulls have a constant beam between them.
They took the bash nerf out of the patch notes
Switching my legendary affix costs me 300k to 900k. That's kept me pretty low on gold while leveling.
Wtf its usually 300k for me never had it over 500k

When it's a true accidental bug that wasn't ever suppose to exist, it's objectively ok to FIX IT during the season even for your fave character... it's not called a nerf.
Everyone loves bugs that buff, nobody likes bugs that get fixed. 🤦♂️ fix>buff 100% of the time. No exceptions.
Although, I will level with people, too many fixes leaves no time for buffs... apparently for blizzard. 😞
They should really increase gold droprate by something like 5000%, everyone is quitting because they CBA farming it to progress their gear. Sucks to be alone playing...

Game still fucks up sound randomly while on a 4k monitor, permormance issue but the option to lower it greys out, yeah I can lower it on desktop but the game looks poor and is fuzzy and sound still stutters, this is on 2 different pcs
I play at 4k everything ultra on 3080 and never drop below 100fps. Usually just capped at 120. No stuttering.
@@Dreamagain11 Maybe its Windows and a bluetooth thing with how D4 interacts with the speakers, I dunno I'm out of solutions. Every other game is fine, speakers always work just sound stuttering in D4. Edit, I'm on a 3080 too so I doubt it's the gfx card. Probably some spaghetti coding
It was very clear it's math didn't add up all that additive damage just doesn't create like 100mil a hit like before seeing a plus sign and all that damage Just says this build is bugged but good still either way if it's actually doing its correct math
World bosses in T4 are almost pointless, dies within 30 seconds. They really need to re work the world bosses to add some “fun”value as well besides hoping for some good loot.

Rax also streams on youtube, all the vods are there in the live section, twitch also has the vods but twitch vods get deleted after 3 months
Do helltide, use the profaned mindcages you get. Try to be in a group foe safety and xp bonus.
Pro give necros more buffs lol. Barb and Sorc need some uplift in damage.
And than there's the promoted D4 discord server where people just outright say they bought gold and bid a billion for a sword and say what a steal that was for 50 dollars..

No one knew the bash barb was performing well because of a bug. Now they fix the bug, but also does nothing to make up for it? It's not even a mega-OP strongest build in the season. Barbs has better end game builds, too. This is just rude.
And tons of barbs are gonna wake up on 28th, and suddenly, their bash barb is a whole lot weaker, because Diablo 4 devs just loves to hate on barbs. Having four weapons is just MORE GRINDNG, especially in this hellish grindfest of a season. And casuals are still getting bankrupt even by just trying to roll CDR on a helmet at the enchanter.
But you know what the worst of it is? It's nigh impossible for causals to CHANGE BUILDS and experiment, because of how insanely grindy and expensive this season is. It is not LOOT REBORN. It is "Season of FULL TIME JOB aRPG."
I stopped playing because of the obscene amount of grinding you have to do in this season, just to be allowed to get to real end game, and the fact that when you do finally find that unicorn 2-3 greater affix roll, it just gets bricked by bad luck on tempering anyway and goes into the trash bin along with 99,999% of other items.
Tempering shouldn't be a lottery. It should just be a way to put what you want on your gear and have fun playing. No luck involved. No charges involved. Luck is not fun when it just punches you in the dick for no reason.

Not true, current bash with bleed overpower proc passive and grandfather, does pits 140+, and is from my understanding highest pitter at the moment.
Did you just say that a game where you can reach lvl 100 in two days is "too grindy"? Do you want literally everything handled to you without doing any work to get it? I don't get how people are complaining about grinding in a game whose season has only been out for about a week. Grinding for better gear is the whole point of arpgs.

I totally agree on the tempering point. At least there should be a currency that allows you to reset tempering durability. Make it as rare as Prisms maybe... But finding a great item and then trashing it because you didn't get the tempering you wanted feels beyond awful...

HoTA was way stronger than bash and they left it for the full season... Which is what they should do. Now a bunch of people burned a bunch of materials in Bash barbs and now that build will not be good. GG Blizzard.

Raxx can't max out builds in 2 days to upload his maxroll builds asap ? Blizzard now decides to make gold irrelevant ( they gone from fully ignoring advice to the opposite extreme now) .
I actually gave up because upgrading my gear was the only thing that took any amount of effort and incentivized play. If I can lvl 100 in 12 hours then it takes me 4 more to fully upgrade my shit and use either one of the forced end game build for each class, what's the point of playing more than 3 days at all since uniques are now worthless and not worth farming.

Idk who's gonna struggle on rogue, the season journey gives you all the powers you need to breeze thru the game for free atm
@@zemgad You can comfortably play any class to level 100, but some classes are clearly stronger than others. Play enough Legions, and your Rogue starts feeling small.

Well... It is still way too expansive about the gold
but at least gold got a valour... and i like that aspect.
(That said, it's not like in diablo 2 where you could make a Gold Barbarian to rip travincal off over and over to make some money... and i miss that in diablo 4 (having specialized build for specific content and farming target...)
About The Goblins : They SHOULD defenatly NOT pop out more than now...
To be honest, I rather prefer having less goblins than what we have and having them ultra rare to come out... BUT with great loot/reward once you bring them down.
That would make them way more interesting imho...
What bugs me the most at the moment is the Holy Elixir wich is just stupid as hell and not even fun.
And one of the most urgent technical stuff they should work aswell is : having the possibility to turn off the animation from the others players, as it can be so overwhelming on the screen making ennemy and boss attacks not to be seen... at all ! There is way too much graphical stuff happening on the screen in this game.
Also they should bring the option to teleport on player from our party doable by just "right clicking -> Teleport to player" on the portrait of a party member... (instead of having to go back in town to do so...)
There is also WAAAAY to much legendaries on the ground now... making those a pain in the arse and distracting from actually "playing the game"
So many stuff that are still not going well and should be adjusted instead of just "having more goblins..." which we basically don't care, especially if they're poping every two corners... Making them annoying as all the world bosses of this game...

They aren't making goblins more common...they're making goblins drop Scattered Prisms more commonly.

Nice. Im done with s4 with this, double masterworked my bash temperings on 2H. One with perfect roll, almost 410% dmg. F you Blizzard. Took me over the week of mindlessly grinding.
You really thought the Tempering on a weapon that you can do FOUR TIMES with HUNDREDS OF DAMAGE % was supposed to be multiplicative?
You knew it's bugged, on some level you HAD to have known it was bugged. No way you didn't.

It is not a nerf if it is simply fixing it. The temper affixes stated + damage and it was applying multiplicative. Changing it to what it what it was supposed to do is not a nerf

This game still fails to get even close to the loot and gear systems of diablo 2.
To me loot reborn is a failure which is still better than what came before.
