This situation reminds me of the reasons why Malik Shabazz left the nation of Islam:
There had been rumors, that Elijah Muhammad had inappropriate relationships to a few young underaged girls from the community. 7 of them had been inpregnated by Elijah.
When brother Malik imvestigated the rumors and found out the truth he started questioning Elijah and alhamdulillah not Islam. It made him deepening his search for the origin of Islam and the true version of Islam.
Everyone has these days a mobile phone and access to the internet. Are there people still illiterate to an extend, to believe everything someone tells them without giving any reliable proofs or sources, taking it how it has been said and follow blindly?
After getting some information from the FBI report I personally have to say, that the mother of that girl is to be blamed and has been taken gulity like Mr Sharieff because she put her daughter into harm due to ignorance and blind trust.

    • @abbasina

I not saying he is innocent but what I am saying all are one side with women and 100 blame on Wasim.
Why women gets so much support in these types of incidents and all burden on man.
One thing I request you don't believe all the statements from lady and defence team especially where she is blaming totally blasphemous statements against Sharif
Trust me I wouldn't believe he would have said that possible he did all the wrong things which He shouldn't have done but blasphemy is just too much to milk as much possible from this case.
Being Muslims we should pray for a person who has fallen down in devil hands instead of leaving our legacy of dehumanising him

Firstly, as-salamu alaikum to you and my brothers and sisters as well. I hope everyone's doing great. Thank you so much for releasing another video about Wisam Sharieff.
Secondly, I am still a little disturbed by his news and actions, especially knowing the fact that I have watched videos from him, many many videos, to be precise, older than 10 years and learnt a few surahs from him with the correct tajweed such as Al-Fajr, Bayyinah and similar.
Now, I understand that all his videos have been removed off UA-cam, but am I sinful from continuing with the pronunciations I have learnt from this lost brother? He has helped me a lot with how to pronounce certain letters and similar. That's why I'm asking. It may be a weird question, but I'm uncertain, hence why I'm asking. Whatever happened to Wisam, I believe that he was a very different human being ten years ago than these past months or years, even though there was no report of him being suspicious ever since this year or so.
I also understand that we all are sinners and we all struggle with something, even though there are certain mistakes or sins we do, sometimes without realising we're doing them, but what this lost brother Wisam Sharieff did is beyond words.
I truly hope, for the sake of his life and for the sake of his family and friends etc, to genuinely repent to Allah for all these horrible things he did. I know that Allah is the most Merciful and may Allah forgive him and his sins.

Yes, there are videos on his phone sent by the mother of the child, but how do we know that the mother didn't lie by saying that W.S told her what to do to get closer to Allah, to protect her self.
The mother decided to get her child involved in this remote sexual act. Did W.S had physical contact with the child, or did he ask the mother for the videos. He may had been sexually attracted to the women, according to W.S wife they have met the mother in some Muslim event in Georgia and may be there where the illicit relationship started. Why would the mother involve her child, unless she is up to something.
No one talks about the woman that is involved in this case. We all know that she is a convert and I'm 100% sure that she knows that sex out of marriage is a red line in Islam. Do you think that we should be naïve to believe that we our sex orgasm helps get close to Allah. As she claims that W.S told her. Who is in their mind to believe this non sense.
I'm not saying that W.S is innocent, but it's between him and Allah who he needs to repent to. The story of the man who killed 99 people and when he wanted to repent he asked a scholar who told him that there is no room for him to repent, in which the scholar was killed, and then asked an other scholar who told him to leave the town where he committed his crimes and and repent.

What he has done is broken the trust of millions of people...now people will look at every one with beard n one who teaches quran with doubt...that is what this man had done...as for the hadhis you gave...that person was not using Allah n his religion to kill people...this man on the other hand used his position which he was raised to comit a crime which with his mouth he would teach to people is sin...I am sure while teaching the quran he would not skip verses related to physical relationship outside marriage...then has not Allah said in the quran what kind of people are they who teach other to do good but themself follow it not. I know we as a community are trying to make sense out of what has happened...I truely understand where you are coming from but trust me we must accept that these evil exist in our community n we must fight it at all level not brush it under the carpet

The question is, how many are hiding behind the face of religious, spiritual, chosen from God, different, or better than the people who have little knowledge than them?
The question is, how many are misusing the trust of their blind followers?
The question is, how often do people ignore this type of crime, and after some time, forget and forgive these criminals and start to follow and learn from these types of devils again?
How a person on the pretext of teaching the Quran can prelude innocent people who are new to Islam, trying to learn Islam, trying to come close to Allahh and his book, but they have to go through losing their dignity, virginity, and become hore to the teacher to come close to Allahh. What time, shame, and cruelty are we witnessing?
These so-called scholars left the devils behind them, and the devils must be confused, thinking, who must be leaving us behind doing more damage than we can even think of doing such a heinous crime? The answer is the person who has a good command of The Quranic recitation and knows all the rules, do’s, and don’t of the Quran. What kind of a joke is this? What happened to these so-called Muslim scholars living in a body of the most dangerous devils?
Firstly, if a person goes this far in doing such heinous acts, the question arises of whether no one goes directly to this height for the first time. So, how long has he been doing this? People who suffered through him, please come forward and never keep quiet. If you stay silent, you allow these devils to walk through countless innocents and fulfill their dirty sexual desires in the name of religion.
I think Allah is humiliating us through these so-called scholars because we, as Muslims, trust and make our mediators to these devils to reach Allahh. We follow them blindly. We love someone's recitation, lectures, style of presentation, way of connecting to people through their made-up stories and jokes, and ……
We constantly check if the person is talking so confidently about Allahh, his book, and his messengers. Is he or she presenting everything correctly? We don’t know because we are blind followers. That’s why Allahh left us to humiliate us through these devils.
This is the time to wake up, my fellow Muslims. Don’t soothe your throats and ears by reading and listening to the beautiful recitations of the Quran. Allah’s book is heavy with his commands, teachings, and laws. Understand them, learn them, and follow them. Just reading and listening will not help you follow what he wants you to learn and follow about his Deen.

They must have fallen in love with his voice and how he read the Quran, and maybe the mother wanted her daughter to become a good reciter like him, too. Without knowing his true nature and trusting the system he was coming and affiliated with, they end up with the worst damage one can’t even think in their right mind for anyone else.
In the name of Islam, one of our highly respected imams ruined their lives to the point the damage is unrepairable. I get that allegations can be extremely tragic but the whole hush hush culture of claiming everything is a smear and baseless can be problematic when there is evidence and witness statements from victims. In many countries including mine the culture of shame and stigma is mainly applied to talking and reporting about things and are shut down and discouraged with people told to not bring shame on their families etc, which is extremely unjust,so the stigma causes people to not report and to not raise awareness so things like this happen in the dark and the main shame is held by victims so they continue to happen which means they aren’t really investigated creating a viscous cycle where such oppression and abuse can flourish.

Al-Maghrib is not a cult. It is simply a group of individuals fighting for a common cause. They share the platform but everyone works independently. They can also have differing beliefs as long as they don't preach division. Ideally. I sense some kind of exclusivity to Ibn Taymiyyah/Wahabi followers, but the group could well function without this secret exclusion.

Not just about Palestine….I can call tomorrow and I can “identify” myself as whomever I please. This lady unfortunately looks like she suffers from serious drug abuse which made me more pensive as to the allegations. I think it is incumbent upon us this day and age to demand solid testimony of the wife under oath, she should produce the video evidence basic fair, transparent, due diligence. Aafia Siddiqui was accused of a lot of things NONE of which were true besides her gender, ethnicity, and the fact that she had kids, she was dragged out happily in front of the media branded lady Alqaeda and was found guilty…not even of the initial indictment if that doesn’t make you demand better than I don’t know what will. Something seems very fishy. Forgive me but I have never been particularly drawn to this educators way of teaching, it is just not for me, but I do believe we should demand evidence be produced and not be so quick to sanction these allegations as fact. I think AlMaghrib is a very old, and big organization, a trailblazer in Islamic education May Allah grant the founder Jannatul Firdous Ameen… and I think just like us they read the affidavit with the FBI emblem, coupled with the grotesque nature of the allegations and decided that was enough for them, rightfully so bc if it is proven true then well ppl will say they are creating a safe haven for abuse to occur. Furthermore, not many ppl will push back, and demand answers from the FBI especially an organization with a lot to lose. If he did not do this his family needs to demand Justice with the help of community and thus they will need to know the truth. Like you said if true he should spend the rest of his life behind bars!! But I just wonder…

“God does not like the public spread of evil-UNLESS someone has been wronged & victimized! God is Hearing and Knowing.” ~ The Qur’an 4:148
May God guide us all, and I hope justice is brought to the victim.

    • @celestialknight2339
      @celestialknight2339 9 днів тому

@ I didn’t misquote it at all. Both meanings are perfectly possible, as the language of the Āyah is beautifully structured in such a way as to convey both realities: (1) WHEN oppression has occurred; and (2) BY those who have been oppressed. Now if only the second meaning was intended, the verse would have instead said: إلا مِن مَن ظلم _(ilā min man ḍhulim)_ OR إلا مِن المظلوم _(ilā min al-maḍhlūm)_ - Yet it doesn’t say either, which is a token of the deep richness of the Qur’an, often allowing for a multiplicity of complementary meanings at the same time (which are context-dependent).
      Abdulhaleem translates this verse as:
_”God does not like bad words to be made public _*_unless someone has been wronged:_*_ He is all hearing and all knowing.”_
      Yūsuf Ali translates it as:
_”Allah loveth not that evil should be noised abroad in public speech, _*_except where injustice hath been done;_*_ for Allah is He who heareth and knoweth all things.”_
Both scholars (and many more) agree that the passage allows for this meaning. Because when oppression has occurred-it is not only the right for the victim to make it known with regards to _themselves,_ but it is often also a right (and a responsibility) for the public to make each other aware of these public dangers (while protecting the privacy & confidentiality of the victim-which here was done) in order to protect each other, learn lessons, and prevent this from ever happening again. Moreover, many other victims who remained silent out of shame & guilt may now come forward due to the publicity of such actions, which can make them feel more comfortable in seeking help & justice for their own past oppression.
However, if someone commits a private sin that harms no one else but themselves, and another wishes to expose him or her publicly (under the guise of ‘you have oppressed yourself!’)-then this is clearly wrong, and the second meaning of the passage _(“…except (by) those who have been wronged”)_ would apply in this instance, as only the perpetrator of the private sin has the right to publicly confess to their own misdeeds.
But in matters that ACTUALLY affect the public (and the community at large), it is our right AND duty to speak up about these unfortunate realities, while attempting to protect innocent identities as much as reasonably possible. Though I agree with you on one thing: It is better to wait until a more thorough investigation before we say “He, person X, DEFINITELY did it” even though there is substantial evidence at the moment. I posted the initial Qur’an verse as more of a general reminder, but I think we can still speak about these matters without necessarily having to laser-focus on one single individual.
I hope you understand, and may God expose the truth.
      Salam.

@malie101 I'm from India. I was writing on YT and Facebook Islamic pages back in 2017 with fake profiles, under a pseudonym. I was making intelligent comments that got the Islamic muftis, ustadhs, n prominent organizations so interested in me that they have used Spyware to breach my privacy ever since. I changed my number n they figured the new number out. They read all my WhatsApp data n listen to my phone calls to create daily nonsense videos out of. I have scolded them multiple times over WhatsApp to my mom that they read, n they respond in their public videos to those messages, yet don't give up hacking. I am researching religion and use my WhatsApp as a pin 📌 to add my text/voice notes/ commentary to the videos I watch online. But I have noticed more than those comments, the Islamic scholars are more interested in knowing me n my family. I have cursed them/ called them Bastards, but they still won't give up. I am living in deep agony because of the breach of privacy. I figured out they were hacking me just a couple of months back! I wasn't even discussing religion on WhatsApp all these years. I was only having private conversations with family. And I'm an unmarried woman!
