The clips are from the 1902 French science-fiction adventure trick film A trip to the moon written, directed and produced by Georges Méliès. Inspired by Jules Verne's 1865 novel From the Earth to the Moon. And YES Freddie's vibrato , THE BEST. Look up the stuff that three scientists studied his voice and they determined his voice was a freak of nature. THE BEST!!!!!
Thanks, guys.. I haven't heard this in a long time... appreciate the reaction...there are quite a few songs on the "post-mortem" album that are beautiful... hope you listen & react to more... (Let me Live; Made in Heaven) - the band took a lot of time to master the vocals that Freddie left into some beautiful works...
The single and video for Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight, Tonight, came out in May '96. I remember MTV used to play HFE and TT back to back. Queen uses footage from original movie, whereas SP remade shots from the movie. The silent movie in question is called A Trip To The Moon and was released in 1902.
As I’m sure others may have stated, this song was first recorded by Roger Taylor for his band The Cross. This version was recorded in early 1991; while Mercury’s health was in decline. He was basically singing it with a drum machine, because Mercury knew he might not make it to complete it fully, and there wasn’t enough time to have it finished properly. The best example of this was a song from the Made in Heaven sessions called “Mother Love”. At one point they needed Freddie to sing the last lyrics of the song, but he wasn’t able to complete it. When Brian May & Roger Taylor went back to finish these songs, Brian stepped in and sang the ending lyrics.
Great song guys, freddies vocals are out of this world we all know freddie's voice is magic he was so unic true I'm Abigail fan of queen and freddie's voice is unmatched what aloss to the rock music nobody can replace this man his talent is out of this world love your reactions ❤❤
Directed by David Mallet, this video mixed archive Queen footage with clips from what is arguably the world's first fantasy film, A Trip To The Moon, made in 1902.
Love Freddie Mercury please react to One Vision the opening song 1986 Wembley a song dedicated to Martin Luther King love your reactions keep on going x
Hey guys, always love the Queen stuff. This isn't actually from their LAST studio album, they did another album with Paul Rodgers 'Cosmos Rocks' in 2008. No Freddie of course.
I didn't know Queen had another album in 1995. I thought Innuendo was their last album. They must've had enough material recorded for a posthomous album.
As it’s almost Christmas check out Queen’s Thank God It’s Christmas. Freddie sounds gorgeous!
They showed my message for Freddie on the wall of Garden Lodge. The first time I saw the videoclip I was so surprised when I noticed it. So cool.
The Gate at the start was Freddie's front door at Garden Lodge in London, sold at Sotherby's last year for $540,000. I went to the auction.
It’s on the market for more like £30m so I doubt it sold for £540’000

Hey Guys please listen to Tear it up by Queen it’s awesome
Travis I love your shirt How can I get one ? Love ya
You must see the Cross heaven for everyone is original
HI GUYS LOVED YOUR REACTION, MAY I SUGGEST YOU CHECK OUT "SHOVE IT" BY THE CROSS ROGER TAYLOR'S BAND.
He was still hitting the notes but if you listen carefully there is a hint of fragility, more obvious in some of the other songs on the album.
?
He recorded this in 87
Perhaps No One But You will be next...
👍👍
could be, Tonight, tonight came almost a year later than this one
