She sang "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" so passionately and beautifully and changed some of the higher notes to have such a deep, dark tone. Sorry, I'm fangirling over this musical too much ahaha.
Update: I checked out Lauren and Jared's medley and I absolutely love it and I update the petition to them singing "Past the Point of No Return," "Past the Point of No Return (the ending scene where Eric lets Christine and Raoul go) and "Angel of Music." 😂 So, basically every song from Phantom. Sorry but what can one say when it is their favourite musical tied with The Sound of Music.

Just so everyone knows, singing songs like these are very hard originally. Singing these songs acapella on the other hand is just flexing how talented she is. Really. Staying in tune going from one end of the scale to the other is so hard. Not a lot of people can do it but Lauren does it all the time.

wishing u were somehow here again has always been very close to my heart. it makes me think of my mother and my grandmother who recently passed. i’ve cried to this song countless times, wishing i could hug them again. i never got to hug my grandmother again.. but today i was reunited with my mother and being able to hug her was one of the best moments of my life. i’ve held on to a lot of pain fro my past, and it has weighed me down long enough so i am going to let go of it and let myself grow. i miss u oma, and i’m sorry i wasn’t able to be with u in person again, but u will always be in my heart and u will live in my memories ❤️
