- "Saving Ferris" is a documentary about the Chicago experience of the classic film, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." For the documentary, Noah Graff visited almost every Chicagoland location in the film to find out where and what the places actually are and how they have changed in 30 years since the film was shot. Some of the scenes in the documentary include going to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field, driving a Ferrari out of Cameron Frye's garage, and singing "Twist and Shout" on a float in the Von Steuben Day Parade.
In part 2, "Ferrari," the documentary discusses the Ferrari replica used in the film. Noah Graff also goes into the famous highland park house and garage from Ferris Bueller's Day Off where the Ferrari was located in the film.
Love it. Thanks for the wonderful memories
Nice work! We’re visiting Chicago this weekend and I came across your doc tonight looking for Ferris Bueller clips. 😊
Very well put together video! That Pavillion and house was designed by a student of Mies Van Der Roh, a world famous architect who designed in the style of “International Architecture”, and thus, his student followed in his footsteps. Since your video, a lower large basement level has been added under the gravel driveway, with the new owners paying careful attention to maintain the original look of the house. On a personal note, the “Pavilion” is actually the influence for my own personal house’s design.
Lovely vid!
3:48 Look at the thick tree leaning a little bit outside the window then at 3:51 you see the same tree leaning on the right side of the window amazing!!!!
I think they recently had a commercial about a garage door motor and Cameron was in it but he’s older now and they filmed that same house
Really. The movie was 35 years ago and Cameron is older now? I'm stunned. :D
It's actually not as remote as it looks though. It is a wooded neighborhood yes, but packed in area of all half acre lots.
I lived in that area.
were u rich
It took me like 2 minutes to realize the presenter is NOT Alan Ruck LOL (though, if I wasn't sleepy, I should have known, that people age).
this place is probably double the price now :O
