Hey Dan, I just replaced the alternator belt on my 76 c3 with a Gates brand 7530 belt and have noticed some fraying on the edges after a couple rides.. The belt is plenty tight and aligned but I'm concerned it may be too thick of a belt. Do you think some fraying on the edges would be fine, or be a risk for the belt snapping if I continue to drive on it as is?
