I have been following you for years and I have always resonated a lot with your teachings.
The truth is that my life and my thinking has changed a lot thanks to you, although far from perfect, for some reason this last year has been quite complicated and chaotic. I think that if it had not been like this, I would not finally be resonating and connecting with much of what you point out in this video and with things you said when I started watching your videos as well.
Sometimes difficulties happen to force us to improve and I think that these complicated and chaotic moments have made me connect with many things that I thought I had learned from you, but which I can only now feel I am really incorporating...

Weed is how I freed my mind enough to understand that we are all programmed. I am 53 years old and I have been saying that since I was 18. By the way I am happily married for 20 years and have grown kids who do not use weed. Just because you think its a waste of time Owen doesn't mean it is for everyone. Its true that most people abuse it and use it as a crutch, but the same could be said about the crap food that most people eat. I know people that cannot function without their morning latte. How about all the millions of people on SSRI's. You should try asking your audience how many of them are on antidepressants. Science has shown over and over again that they not only don't do any better than placebos but can actually make people suicidal. Yet I don't hear you speaking out against those things nearly as much as cannabis. You go off on weed in nearly every video I have seen you in for the last few years, yet not nearly as much about alcohol, fentanil, and other legal substances that are way more damaging than cannabis.
Tbh I know where you’re coming from, but even me weed helped me unlock and see the world but I’ve been using it as a crutch ever since, there is something weed takes away that people never talk about and they always get super defensive when u mention that weed takes away. I can say that weed makes you ok with ok. But to each his own. I think he focuses on weed because of the sheer number of people that abuse it
