      Adobong puti (White adobo) is my favorite. No need for soy sauce. Just garlic, vinegar, water, and salt..

      I love cooking chicken adodo.. ( chicken pork adobo )
      Same ingredients with your adobo but i dont fry the chicken.
      Chicken, garlic, onion, bay leaves, pepper corn, brown sugar and calamansi/lime. Mix all together (just like marinating ) in the skillet then let it boil, till the sauce becomes thicken or lessen ( sips inside the chicken ) . :)

    ive tried this recipe before! its mind blowing. i love seasoning my meat every now and then but for this recipe, the sauce will be saturated and its flavourful that you dont need to put salt 🧂 on your meat when you fry them.

      Nica A I put a little.

    • @ChelzLovesPeanut
      @ChelzLovesPeanut 4 роки тому

      Nica A The soy sauce ratio should provide enough salt but I could see why he would need to add just a pinch because of the coconut milk. Also, I would need way more rice for how much meat he put into the bowl lol. But I’d try this recipe out for sure!

    I brown a kilo of pork belly first in a Dutch oven, fry my aromatics (pepper corn, dried bay leaf, garlic, shallots), then I pour 2 cups of brown chicken stock, half a cup of Lee kum kee dark soy sauce, a quarter cup of white vinegar, then I slow cook it in the oven for 6 hours. I'll reduce it further if needed. I end up with a beautiful, tender adobo with the richness of chicken jus
