  • India’s washing habits seem to fascinate the world. Ask some, and we are dirty, and have terrible sanitation. Yet at the same time, westerners are shunning showers and think baths are boring in a trendy no-wash movement. Where did this stereotype come from? Let’s take a look at the history of Indian bathing, from thousands of years before western civilisation existed, to the fragrant aristocrats of colonial European nobles, to the dark days of botched British public building projects. It’ll be enough to make you reach for the shampoo (which is an Indian word, by the way, you’re welcome).

This is true. We don't have toilets for every Indian. Let's accept the fact, develop along with space programs too. Nothing is exclusive. Let's not Dwell in to past with high claims. Past is long gone. We are improving, far ahead in South Asia. We need to compete with advanced countries.
