Goulash! We love it. We ate it as kids... And it has been one of the favorite of our sons.♥️ And... Yes. Myes.. Yes... Has to be shells! BTW... We make Mac and cheese with shells instead of macaroni... The shells hold more cheese sauce... 👍😊
I remember my grandmother cooking macaroni and stewed tomatoes back in the day when I lived with her they didn't have meat except for breakfast or maybe something for dinner but not that often they were poor back in the day so grandmother would cook whatever she had to cook we had biscuits all the time I remember Jeffrey she had a big can of lard and a big can of flour, lawd I look back on it and wonder how we survived it but we did . Then I grew up went to college and stepped in and have been blessed enough to help several members in my family and that makes me happy, ty for sharing all these old school recipes 👍

My 74 year old Dad, from Easy Tx still butters his light bread, folds it over, and sops up juices from his plate. This is a Delicious time and money saving dish, I would add shredded cheese!
Pasta and meat sauce with bread and butter and cornbread, beans and fried potatoes; growing up poor those were staples. Now I cook them as comfort food
Yaaassss! Looks delicious Chef. The young me loved meaty 30 minute-1 hour simmer. The now me advised to avoid nightshades (tomatoes) digestion troubles…so I cook onions, carrots, celery, brown meat and put in slow cooker overnight or early in morning to slow cook 6-8 hours. Add pasta and good, good, good and can digest;)
My husband saw this video and said he wanted to try it. The next day he did cook this and it was delicious!💙💜 Today is our fourth day to enjoy it. There is only two of us so we still have a lot leftover. It does get better every day. It's not only good but very filling. You don't need anything else unless you want something to drink (rootbeer for us) or you want to add bread (sandwich bread here) . We love all your videos. Thank you for sharing!
