Couldn’t agree with you more on your points about building an audience. It is more time consuming and will take longer, but having an audience that is devoted to you and cares about you and your family and values your opinion and thoughts is worth more than I can put into words. We have friends in our small niche on UA-cam that have pages and pages of banned words for their channel because of how awful their comments are. We don’t have any banned words. That relationship with our audience took years and years to build but I wouldn’t trade it for millions of subscribers that could care less about my family and our journey. Don’t sell yourself out for negativity that will over time wear you down. Thanks for being such a great example of that, Angie!🙌
This is exactly what i needed to hear. Hard truth. We did a full 2 months in a row on lives last year. People loved it. It did make things easier to do bc we did it everyday. Editing videos, talking to others, We made that connection with people. we earned their trust. it was like we had another family it was great. I think the straight 2 months was a bit much bc we got drained and exhasuted. But totally agree if you want this we need to work our ashes off. it all worth it in the end.
Thank you for this, I think so many content creators don't share this info without a catch and that is where I have been struggling in finding my passive income. This just showed me that I need to start slow and dive in. I can't be scared of failure anymore!!

I know that I have so many topics I can talk on and insightful information - deep deep inside of me. I seem to only tell people that I am comfortable with that won't make fun of me. Hi Angie. I can only assist to the premiers on weekends :( I'm in Portugal = different time zone. My side hustle is UA-cam. I'm a small creator with 11k subscribers but it's an engaged community that assists and comment. I wouldn't changed for empty numbers just to tell that I have xxx subscribers. Keep up the good work. Makes so much sense! I say the same thing to my music students..practice makes permanently better! The more you do it the better it gets and also FUN is doing something well! People will always be attracted to that...:)

I truly realized no one else is paying my bills so why do I give a F what they think about how I am spending my time/making my life happen. If it makes me happy and is not harming anyone who cares!
