- Bringing innovation to the road with In-Car Gaming
We partnered with Swiss startup AirConsole to bring a jointly developed solution for in-car gaming to the road in just a few months. Making its debut in our new BMW 5 Series, BMW drivers and passengers will be able play computer games during stationary breaks on the vehicle’s Curved Display. Other models will also have this feature integrated.

What they should do is incorporate a VR headset and then when you sit in the drivers seat it changes into gaming mode with a loose steering wheel and feedback
That's cool. In the meantime: Tesla owners having access to the Steam library and playing Cyberpunk on the big screen with 60fps and PS5 controller support.
Add gaming to the i4 os too!!!!!
This will help especially in electric cars when wait for the charge up and have kids in the car (or kids at heart)
Vielen Dank, dass ich vor zwei Wochen den ix1 für 60.000 Euro inklusive Rabatt und BAFA kaufen durfte. Leider wurde nur die MGU21 verbaut. Trotzdem danke, BMW für das neue alte Auto! Nochmal wird mir das bei euch nicht mehr passieren
Too bad the screens are so tiny.
We need to reconnect with nature. Not the contrary. This people is getting crazy. Instead we should look out side and see the natur the world,The trip.
It really is a true shame that iDrive 8 vehicles aren’t getting this feature from what I’ve read.

Another useless gimmick taken from tesla. I can speak for the behalf of every one of the younger generation when i say "Focus on making the car better to DRIVE".
