Thank you, thank you, thank you. My son had his first three surgeries within the first 30th months of his life. During one of his hospital stays he received a Project Linus Blanket. It was such a wonderful gift to receive during a difficult time.

My baby nephew just got two of these blankets a few weeks ago when he was born prematurely and was in NICU. They are so cute.

Just a thought. I was six foot 4 by the time I turned 18. If you are making blankets for teens please consider making one that would work for a very tall teen. It is very frustrating to have blankets that don't fit your size. If you are making these to be a comfort for the receiver and they can't use it without curling up in a little ball so that the blanket covers them it wouldn't as appreciated as one that covered them from head to toe when they laid flat in a hospital bed so they could have it cover their feet and they could still pull it up under their chin and cover their shoulders.

As a mom who had a 6'+ teen boy in trauma/icu after a wreck, I can say that the blankets were appreciated, no matter the size.

Do they sell fleece that is already cut to size so all I have to do is the knots?

handmade, so does that mean we can't use a sewing machine to make it ?

You can absolutely use a sewing machine! Handmade means you made it with your own hands and it was not store bought. Made with love, not in a factory.
