Tried this on my own... got 10th place. Followed these instructions to the letter..... got 10th place. Will keep trying. The most frustrating part is burning an hour and getting 0 credits.
Probably cause his advice was to send it into T1 without bother about anyone else on track and to intentionally wreck someone cause he can’t beat it himself 😮
Update 1.48: if you haven’t been able to beat this yet, try the Honda NSXGT500. I finally beat this race with it yesterday, and finished with a 17 second lead. Run medium tires, fuel map 1 the entire time. Pit at the end of lap 10, change tires and fill to 12 laps. Pit one more time at the end of lap 20, change tires and fill up to 11. I averaged 1:58 per lap. I had 6-8 laps at 1:57 and two laps at 2:00 flat when my tires got low but even then the car handles great. Hope this helps.
Thanks for sharing this, strategy worked for me. I think "easy" is a stretch as you still have to make very few mistakes and consistently hit those 1:58s for a full hour. But if you can manage that, all good.
Thanks this really helped, i didnt think i would ever get this one. I finished 6 seconds ahead, i was in the lead for the last 2 laps . Awesome rewarding race
Thank you so much for this! I managed to complete this race 1st time with this strategy (minus punting Mr Rubilar off) after trying 4 different times with over car/pit stop combos and falling short by a fair distance each time - this is definitely the best current strategy out there.
I did it without knocking him down.. this is my 1st time to when this after around 10 trys.. basically you need to pass him and hold him as much as you can.. I defend against him like Perez lol.. in oclne lap he backed out and and increased the distance.. after that I did all what you mentioned here exactly.. won by 9 seconds.. thanx again
I hate to disappoint everyone here, but the outcome also depends on luck... so it's a one hour lottery to see what you get. Did 3 full runs for this race - first on hard, average was about ~1:59.5 per lap. Followed the strategy here and ended up 2nd with ~7s gap. 2nd race I refueled too little on first pit, so had to pit 1 lap sooner (left pit with 10.5 laps worth of fuel, not 11.5). Even though I averaged ~1:58.5, I ended up being 5th with 20 second gap. These 2 races were on hard. Last race was on easy - did ~1:58.00 per lap (plenty of 1:57 and some 1:59 laps, but average was ~1:58.00), finished first with 3 second lead. My total race time was 1 second faster than at the end of this video, but I only had 3 second lead at the end. Btw I used huyndai gr3 as this was the fastest car for me after I tried most of them. The downside for genesis is that it takes ~5-7 seconds longer to refuel, but you can do much faster laps in it (I believe my average was up to ~0.5s faster per lap than the author of this video). BTW Fraga ran into someone while lapping them on the 28th lap while being 3 seconds in front of me, that's when I was able to over take him. I think this error is the only reason I won instead of getting 2nd place with 3 second gap. I also got 2 second penalty once on the race that I've won. Same thing happened to me on the first human comedy race (the one with mazda mx5) - did 2 runs, same strategy, same pace (maybe 10 second difference total, but same lap count at the end). I lost first race I lost by 30seconds, won the second one with 2 lap lead. So good luck for everyone who's struggling with this and keep trying. Btw, I don't believe race difficulty setting matters in missions. Just like mission times are not adjusted, I think AI behavior is also not adjusted.
Can confirm works. Thanks for the video. Tried a lot of different strats but most were old videos and didn't seem to work. Took 3 tries with this setup and got the win. Consistent lap times 1:57 and 1:58s was the key.
Just tried this strategy as my first attemp at this damn race. Won at first try! 0.7s ahead of one of the Japanese guys. Rubilar was 5s ahead but pitted before the last lap. I overtook the Japanese fellow on the big downhill straight also at the last lap. What a drama! Btw, played on a controller and did mostly 1:59 laps. It's doable, folks!
After reading countless different strategies on Reddit and other forums and trying countless different cars, I finally beat this race today using your strategy.. the relief was surreal. I tried this strategy with the Mazda RX Vision as shown but got 2nd.. then, I think read a comment on this video stating that the BoP regulations favour the Porsche RSR so I decided to give that car a go and I did not regret that decision at all as this is the car I won this race with. Put on medium tires and did the 2 pit strategy and the car performed really well. Fuel map 1 all the way and I did not short shift except on the last lap to save some fuel ( I also had to switch to Fuel map 4) Few things I noticed.. idk if it’s just me but the AI seemed a lot more forgiving on this try. Maybe it’s because I got destroyed so many times on this race and in some update, PD implemented a feature that reduces the difficulty of the AI given the number of tries. For once I could ACTUALLY catch up to and leave Yamanaka and Rubilar behind. That and I feel I got better at driving at this track after so many tries. I was consistently pulling 1:58s and 1:59s.. my best lap was a 1:57 Another important aspect of this race is when your opponents pit. Yamanaka’s pitting was similar across all my attempts but others changed. For example, on my attempt with the RX Vision.. I lost because of Fraga’s pitting strategy which resulted in him finishing first. This is something that you cannot really control and it’s based on luck. However on my attempt with the Porsche, Fraga pitted on different laps which caused him to fall behind. Pitting strategy and patterns of your opponents matters a lot. That and the amazing handling of the Porsche helped me win. TLDR: Everyone’s play style is different and what worked for me may not necessarily work for you. However, I would STRONGLY recommend using the Porsche RSR and this strategy. Use medium tires and fuel map 1 all the way except on the last lap where you should shortshift and use the fuel map to save fuel accordingly. Follow this strategy and aim for 1:57 or 1:58 lap times.. 1:59 is also ok. Most importantly, pray that your opponents are forgiving and pit in a way that benefits you. Thanks so much for making this video!
I struggled 4 days with this race. First 4th place, then 3rd, 2nd and finally, without major problems (on a not fully functional pad) I won the gold. I did it with a Honda NSX (00) with a 15-second lead. I got it this morning.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it : - Eat the grid - Kill Rubilar - Keep that 1:58 Joke appart this setup still work on the 1.40 update : Mazda Vision GT3, Medium tires, 2 stops, TCS 3, Fuel 1, AI Easy - Quickly eating your opponents works for every race, but as you don’t necessarily want a « clean race » on this one (it’s hard enough), gently use them as corners bumpers to be fast as possible on the two first laps - Rubilar will be a pain if you don’t slow him down at least one time. He is somehow glitched on his lap and pit time… Sometimes Yamanaka could also be a pain as he could only do two pit and also be glitched. It will be on your luck, you can’t afford to also kill him as you will lose the advance you have on Rubilar - The TCS could be manageable at 2 or 1 with fresh tires, but it will become dangerous as you consume your tires. On or two mistake on this race and you’ll have to reset… It’s safer to hold TCS 3 all along the race - The main difficulty will be the lap time. You absolutely need to be at 1:57 or 1:58 with fresh tires, and it will become hard to be under 1:59 with consumed tires. Your average should be 1:58. Don’t hesitate to try and look for the corner you can slightly « cut » without getting penalties as it might give you those 1 or 2 seconds you are needing Last mission guys, you’re almost there and you already done the hardest parts 😁
The AI cheats on the pits and on the first hairpin. I got robbed of 1st place because rubilar pitted about 12 seconds faster than me. Granted, the M6 is more fuel efficient than the RX-vision which should make up for the 2 seconds but the waiting time before the car arrives is like 10 seconds for the AI and more like 20 seconds for the player. This race is pretty much rigged.
I was leading into the last lap towards the hairpin when out of nowhere Fraga comes and punts me into the sand trap and takes the win. He was 3 seconds ahead and by the time i crossed the finish line I had narrowed the gap to 1.3 seconds. I hate him!
The same here! i was leading in the last lap and then NSX came like a shark!! and i was with no fuel and zero grip and last 2 turns it tried to take me down to the sand! It backfired and i put him in sand with amazing luck 🎉🎉🎉
Got it with 2 stops mediums......first stop after 10 laps, make sure at your first and second stop only to put fuel for like around 10 laps.....and dont use any fuel saving
Just wrapped this one up, finished 6.7 sec ahead of Fraga. I had an interesting race, to say the least. Setup: same as your video, but TC on 1 as im on wheel/pedals I murdered Rubilar lap 1, but kinda took forever to recover myself, and ended up about 8 sec behind Yamanaka by the time I got to 2nd place. I was lapping 1:57/1:58 though, so i stuck with it. On lap 9, I absolutely sent it into the sand on my dying tires and got a 2:04 that lap. I still stuck with it, and throughout, there were a couple other 2:00 slow laps, but otherwise, averaged ~1:58.5. I was settled with 2nd, but on lap ~26, yamanaka pitted a third time, so I was gifted 1st. TLDR; If you notice yamanaka pitting early, like around lap 6, he will pit 3 times in the race. If you are ~10-11 sec behind in 2nd, you will pass him for 1st. Thanks for the guide man! This helped me a shit ton!
I was able to get gold on hard with the Porsche 911 RSR on mediums, driving manual.I pitted whenever yamanaka did (usually end of 9th, and 19th) You should try to lap 1:58-1:57 but honestly that shit is glitched. Hard is easier than normal but sometimes normal is easier than hard, you have to try both and see which you find the easiest. I tried a lot of the GR.3 cars but seriously found the Porsche the fastest. I also barely beat this, 2nd place was .200th of a second behind me. Also yamanaka pits at around lap 28-29 and if you’re 10-12 seconds behind him you’ll be able to gain 1st after he pits for no reason. I guess it’s an another glitch but works in your favor, fuck it. Stay on that line without completely lifting off the accelerator and I stayed on fuel 1 the entire time. This race is difficult but takes patience and practice. Took me weeks to nail the corners and know where to downshift too but it’s beatable. I never tried on easy but I heard that also works. I guess I just like to torture myself lol.
I just did this mission today with 911 rsr. First race started with mediums. Got my elbows out and literally wrestled myself to second place behind supra lappin around 1:59 for ten laps. End of lap ten to pits for new set of mediums. Messed up with the refuel and hot myself just 8 laps worth of fuel instead of 80% of the tank. After this I realized that I was fucked and came back to the pits around lap 17. New hard tyres on and enough fuel for the rest of the race. Managed to climb to 1st after others pitted. Again elbows out and formed a nice Trulli train behind me. Before the last lap Brasilian with mclaren managed to sneak past me. I gave another shot at this. This time again starting with mediums, first pit at end of lap 10, opted for mediums and 80% fuel load. Keeping pace around 1:59 and pitted at the end of lap 20. Again mediums and messed up refuel...again, enough for 9 laps :D. I managed to take a first place and got myself a nice big m6 up to my trumpet. Had to drive a couple of laps with the fuel map on 3 and after that the pedal to the metal, fuel map to 1 and again 1:59's for the last 5 laps. At the finish gap to the BMW around 3,1 sec. Tips for those who are struggling with this. Get yourself on the rhytm. 1:59's per lap is enough to win this, at least in my case. This should also help with tire wear Use all the track, especially for the esses at begin of the sector two. If all the curbs in the bends are used, AI loses around second in comparison. They may gain elsewhere but the cap between should remain about the same over the lap. Penalty system allows both wheels over the white lines. Too much thoug and it slaps you with a penalty.
Thanks for this, but it is still hard for me... I'm getting like 2:00-2:01 lap times. Maybe I should just pay someone to do it for me, that and the dirt tracks! haha
Thanks for sharing this, will have to try this given your stratergies have worked for me in the past. Are you saying that Fuel map is on 3 all of the race?
Fuel map 1 mate, copy exactly what I do and you should be fine. Keep your lap times consistent 1:57s, 1:58’s and 1:59s and don’t get any penalties 😉👍🏻 The mighty Bolton doing well and should get promotion ⚽️👍🏻
Thought you might say this, I feel I need more practice to get near your skills, I use a hand controller which is not as good as the steering wheel but will keep plodding on. BWFC 👍
Id just like to get 15th 😢 by 30 mins in im so far behind in 20th almost getting lapped. Guess im just going to have to race dirty as i can. Im using the red car as suggested but they pass me like im not moving
He’s a bit unpredictable I found, one race he’ll be right up there and another race he’s quite a bit back. Also depends on your lap times, if he’s had a clean race and he’s in free air he’s quick! Consistency is key
@@SkullBusters Thanks for the information. The most important thing is that thanks to your advice and the Honda NSX Mugen, I have completed this race and completed all missions.
I don't understand how you can have a problem winning the race. You have to have good pace and do 1.55xx / 156xx times plus save fuel and tires. My time is top 9 in the ranking and I made a lot of mistakes and lost more than 10 seconds. You have to learn to ride and not think about strategies, this race is really easy.
Unfortunately this doesn't work anymore, just did it to the letter of the law and came 10th and the 1st place was over a minute in front and I had regular 1.57 laps, never mind lol 😢
@@SkullBusters mate honestly I couldn't believe how fast they were it was crazy, and I had it on easy setting, at one point in the race I think I was 8th and I had 4 other drivers just razz round me lol I was thinking fucking hell 🤣, do you think it's worth trying the setting on hard as I've read this influences tsukuba race?
Like all my video guides, this was completed on controller. If you’re doing 1:59s you need to go a lot quicker, you need to be doing 1:57s and 1:58s to win this race otherwise you’ll never do it. If you’re struggling I’d suggest doing the circuit experience for this track, that will help you improve your times 👍🏻
You need to be abit more quicker with the times, 1:57s / 1:58s and you’ll do it. Got to be consistent with them times, no time penalties and copy the pitstop strategy exactly no deviation from it 👍🏻
@@SkullBusters i rather to wait for an updated video because even if i do 1:57-1:58 laps, i lost totally like 30sec-s against fraga on the 2. Pit stop i guess....
Unfortunately not it comes with the special edition when purchased, try the normal one that works too, at the end of the video I show you that version too 👍🏻
Easy?!? Really!!! I would describe myself as an average player. Spent the majority of this race in the middle then all of a sudden started dropping places - the AI are dirty, dirty f*#kers. Spun out, lunged at... ffs! This is meant to be fun. My top lap was a 2"00 but I'd say i averaged 2"02 so obvs no way I was going to win. 10 mins to go i was dead last and thought of switching it off. The AI must have felt sorry for me cos in the last ten minutes i gained 5 places and got my 15th place for the bronze, to complete the torture that is Human Comedy. I noticed there is another mission which has 5 Chilli difficulty (HC has four), not sure any point in me attempting those!
I do t think k it’s beatable with a regular controller. Period. 😡 not paying 2k to beat this race. As that’s what a proper wheel , pedals and shifter cost
I’m on controller, all my guides are done on controller and automatic. This is a tough one, I found by completing the circuit experience for this track (which is hard too) helped me improve my lap times around this track, which then helped me beat this awful mission. Got to be consistent with lap times and no mistakes and you’ll do it. If I can do it I know you can too! 😉👍🏻
Tried this on my own... got 10th place. Followed these instructions to the letter..... got 10th place. Will keep trying. The most frustrating part is burning an hour and getting 0 credits.

You have to set difficulty to 'hard', which is actually the easiest

Also yamanaka pits at around lap 28-29 and if you’re 10-12 seconds behind him you’ll be able to gain 1st after he pits for no reason.
I guess it’s an another glitch but works in your favor, fuck it.
Stay on that line without completely lifting off the accelerator and I stayed on fuel 1 the entire time.
This race is difficult but takes patience and practice. Took me weeks to nail the corners and know where to downshift too but it’s beatable.
I never tried on easy but I heard that also works. I guess I just like to torture myself lol.
Congrats 🥳 and thanks for this info! 😉👍🏻
This should also help with tire wear
Use all the track, especially for the esses at begin of the sector two.
Maybe I should just pay someone to do it for me, that and the dirt tracks! haha
You definitely need to get these times down
Or pay someone to teach you getting those times are not difficult you can definitely do it
Yeah my lap is at 2:02 all I’m trying to do is get 15th can’t even get that
Try it with peugeot, two stop strategie, ive done it with that car without ramming
I can’t get below 1:58. I consistently do 1:59 but that’s not enough with the 911 RSR.
I saw the vehicle reach 170 km/h, which is very rare. It usually reaches 160. something is not right here.
Got halfway through, then my wheel decided to commit die
Nooooooooooooo 😔
Thank you for your help. 👍🏻
No problem 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing this, will have to try this given your stratergies have worked for me in the past. Are you saying that Fuel map is on 3 all of the race?
Fuel map 1 mate, copy exactly what I do and you should be fine. Keep your lap times consistent 1:57s, 1:58’s and 1:59s and don’t get any penalties 😉👍🏻
The mighty Bolton doing well and should get promotion ⚽️👍🏻
Thought you might say this, I feel I need more practice to get near your skills, I use a hand controller which is not as good as the steering wheel but will keep plodding on. BWFC 👍
Id just like to get 15th 😢 by 30 mins in im so far behind in 20th almost getting lapped. Guess im just going to have to race dirty as i can. Im using the red car as suggested but they pass me like im not moving
What your lap times? You’ve got to be hitting 1:57s or 1:58s (or lower) nearly every lap consistently in order to have a chance of winning.
Why doesn't anyone mention the Brazilian Fraga in Maclaren when for me he is always in first place. Has anything changed so far?
He’s a bit unpredictable I found, one race he’ll be right up there and another race he’s quite a bit back. Also depends on your lap times, if he’s had a clean race and he’s in free air he’s quick! Consistency is key
@@SkullBusters Thanks for the information. The most important thing is that thanks to your advice and the Honda NSX Mugen, I have completed this race and completed all missions.
Brilliant and congrats 🥳 🏆
I don't understand how you can have a problem winning the race. You have to have good pace and do 1.55xx / 156xx times plus save fuel and tires. My time is top 9 in the ranking and I made a lot of mistakes and lost more than 10 seconds. You have to learn to ride and not think about strategies, this race is really easy.
Everyone bow down to the master. Doing 1.55 while saving fuel. Well done. The interwebs know how good you are now.
Can i fit a turbo ore does that kill the fuel ?
Not easy
It does not work on easy. Cars kept catching me and I couldn’t get near the leader.
Sounds like you’re not fast enough, you’ve consistently lap in 1:57s / 1:58s / 1:59s without penalties or mistakes 👍🏻
What happened to Rubilar? He usually wins when I try this race. Don’t see him in the top few positions at the end. How?
Need to take him out
Unfortunately this doesn't work anymore, just did it to the letter of the law and came 10th and the 1st place was over a minute in front and I had regular 1.57 laps, never mind lol 😢
One of the other guys doing mentioned the same thing and said it’s just luck of the draw, sometimes they’re faster, sometimes they’re not 🫣😢
@@SkullBusters mate honestly I couldn't believe how fast they were it was crazy, and I had it on easy setting, at one point in the race I think I was 8th and I had 4 other drivers just razz round me lol I was thinking fucking hell 🤣, do you think it's worth trying the setting on hard as I've read this influences tsukuba race?
I can't make it work the car is to slow, pushing to the max with a controller I did a 1:59, this must be with a driving rig and what not !
I'm sure they'll eventually patch the BOP and it'll become doable
Don’t think they will tbh
what are you even writing about?!!;) if someone can't win this race then they really need to think about their skills.
Why is this so hard. I usually don’t struggle in these types of races but I got 19th 😭😭
This is tough, your lap times have to be super consistent and you have a clean race with no penalties! 👍🏻
I've done exactly the same with 1:58 laps and got 2th place +14s...Fraga won
You need to be abit more quicker with the times, 1:57s / 1:58s and you’ll do it. Got to be consistent with them times, no time penalties and copy the pitstop strategy exactly no deviation from it 👍🏻
@@SkullBusters i rather to wait for an updated video because even if i do 1:57-1:58 laps, i lost totally like 30sec-s against fraga on the 2. Pit stop i guess....
this mission very hard with controller
Yeah don’t worry mate, we’re in that boat too 😞
is there any way to get the stealth model??
It was just a pre order bonus 😭 but it is identical to the base GT3 version in stats
Unfortunately not it comes with the special edition when purchased, try the normal one that works too, at the end of the video I show you that version too 👍🏻
@@SkullBusters okay, too bad 😭😭 I only bought GT7 a year ago because I liked the film and that you can do the paint work yourself!!!
Yeah you can apply all sorts of styles to all cars in GT auto 👍🏻
@@SkullBusters this is better than gt5!!! 5 was made so complicated for me!!!
you don't have to drive dirty to win a race. learn to do times like 1.55xx 1.56xx. you can even do 1.54.9x while saving fuel.
YOU might be able to do those kinds of lap times, but most people cannot lol.
Second comment I see from you. Stop trying to promote your channel with sh!tty unhelpful comments like this.
Easy?!?
I have 9/10 Gold on human comedy but this race is impossible for me.
I was like that for a while, then managed to do it. You just need to be consistent with your lap times, 1:57s & 1:58s and no penalties 😉👍🏻
157.339 fastest lap to
🔥🔥🔥
I do t think k it’s beatable with a regular controller. Period. 😡 not paying 2k to beat this race. As that’s what a proper wheel , pedals and shifter cost
I’m on controller, all my guides are done on controller and automatic. This is a tough one, I found by completing the circuit experience for this track (which is hard too) helped me improve my lap times around this track, which then helped me beat this awful mission. Got to be consistent with lap times and no mistakes and you’ll do it. If I can do it I know you can too! 😉👍🏻
This race is brroken i dont understand why there has to be such a difficulty? Its not even realistic wtf
It can be frustrating for sure, you just need to be consistent with your lap times, but got to be lapping 1:57’s / 1:58’s
