Always nice to see some of the new Guerilla Group and Hamcus outside of their promo shoots. My favourite cargos not cargos are the Veilance Align MX.. the cargos you can wear to work and no one would ever know.

Those Garuda Asasaa 2.1 pants are super slick. As a vet who lived through that weird period where the Army was changing uniforms every other year I appreciate all the little details that are clearly pulled from the best real tactical pants out there. The high waist band & the beltloops that cross the seam to add reinforcement are very clear callouts to Crye Precision, a favorite among the special operations community & the envy of all us regular grunts. It's like someone took some CP pants and something from ACRONYM smooshed them together & said, "Now kiss!"

I can see the pockets in the second pans being really useful while abroad to help prevent getting pick pocketed in areas the have a lot of those they are both really hidden and hard to get into especially the inner velcro pocket
I needed this...my husband's lack of wardrobe is driving me insane. This goes beyond behind a "simple guy" he only alternates thru 2 pairs of cargos pants. If he could recover his clothes from 1998 he would. He used to wear ONE pair of black cargos when I first met him lol..it took me 4 years to convince him into searching for new cargo pants!. I'm thinking he's ordered atleast 5 pairs of pants after online shopping for hours. No! he happier than ever to have found ONE pair of cargos from Duluth, i want scream.... Even when we go out to dinner and fancy places it's cargo pants. I want a divorce from my husband's pants
Lmao I'm the same way. When it comes to cargos I'm suuuuper picky so I have just been wearing a pair of black baggy nylon h&m cargos. I would buy some of the hamcus stuff but I'll have to save up for those.
Thanks for introducing us to Hamcus! Love it when fashion gets geeky. On the other end of the avant garde spectrum you have Demobaza, very similar in thematic approach but more sand dune unga-bunga desert people vibe. Defo check them out!

Was unsure about that first pair, but something about the wide waist absolutely sold me on them. Depending on what t-shirt/shirt combo you take with it, you could have a real japanese street style theme going.

literally wearing my Hamcus lounge pants while lounging on the planet surface and watching this video. I have had an eye on the black version of the GG pants for a bit too. Really like the new takes both Hamcus have and new GG. As you stand next to your falcon in those hamcus pants, I wore my Duzsen long sleeve shirt to DL and wore it on the Millennium Falcon ride, needless to say I felt appropriate.

Best part of good quality trousers is the waist can be either or both buttons on the side and elastic in the back. 👍

Hey Ant, was wondering if we could get a vid on washing/maintaining various technical materials. Got some GTX/Schoeller pickups recently and want to get a lot of wear out of them but still keep them in good condition as long as possible. A lot of info online is pretty conflicting but you keep your stuff the cleanest I've seen for someone who actually wears this stuff regularly and for a long time so would love to learn your ways.

Garuda ones were my fav. I need to try some of their stuff. Personal favorite cargos are p38-ds loved them so much I had to pick up 2 pairs.

One brand i've not seen reviewed anywhere online is Rags by Jak, UK based clothing company with all sorts of techware, their joggers have me eyeing up their site on a weekly basic..

The Garuda have big MC Hammer 'tent pant' energy!
As much as I simp Fabric Of The Universe, their cargo pants aren't the best. The lack of belt loops (jogging style tops) is a pain and the fabric is a very shiny, swishy material with zero breathability and little stretchability.
I do recommend Smoke Rise, I have a pair of their detailed cargos and they are built well although not ripstop or really 'technical'.
I love all the of the cargo pants in this video, though, the hamcus one is kind of... Eh? It reminds me of a combination of a black heavy duty trash bag and USPS' clear postal bags. (I work at FedEx, so I'm sort of familiar with the clear materials used in this pants.) I really do like the uplink thing that's integrated into the design though. I want to see something like it to be used with a charging cable or something. You could hide a power bank in one of the pockets and run it through your outfit so it can come out of the hole. If it get's too uncomfortable, you could always try to wear under armor as a barrier between the cord and the skin.
Is there a delay on the audio?
Big fan of the Garudas, would definitely wear, though that high waist means there's no way you can wear these 'a bit tight' if you're not straight up and down skinny; I bought some Pupil Travel pants and they are 'my size' at the waist but the super high waistband means any love-handle chunk gets shoved into less a muffin top and more 'stuck in a pool float ring' look :o
The Hamcus I like for the sheer inventiveness, the metal 'docking port' reminded me of the recent Vollebak 'Mars Jacket' that had a circular unscrewable plastic 'pocket' on the upper chest to store nausea bags for your orbital trip - if you're going to tell a story with your products, go all in I say :)

The Garuda's are very nice, though I wish the overlaying pockets were made from a more rigid textile, so they wouldn't get so lumpy.
The Guerrilla Group pant is really not for me. The overall shape is too weird.
Love the CAYL's, I might have to pick those up.
And Hamcus as a brand is amazing! Though I feel these pants are a bit too roomy in the crotch for me.
