Nice job Mike. I'm guessing you did not fill in the brad nail holes - just let them blend in with the character of the pallets. Does the poly finish fill in/level off the holes? What about the original nail holes - did you just leave them alone as well? Your shop flows well for a project like this
I left all the nail holes. Using two coats of the water based poly wasn't enough to fill them completely but being a headboard I don't think it's really an issue. Thanks for watching!

Looks great. I'm planning on making something similar for our beds. FYI, that's a herringbone pattern, not chevron.

Nice headboard Mike, I use BLO before switching to poly on pallets. It really brings out the character of the wood. It does have plenty! LOL

great work and I love the shop. My only complaint is that you didnt wear any goggles or ear plugs. Safety always first. Other than that good work
