Hi Tasha. I first made the shelves. I then attached a 2x4 to the head board and used a small L bracket for support. Then i screwed the shelve to the 2x4 from underneath. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching the video and your nice comments! Cheers!
+Crx018 Hey Crx. I used a total of 4 pallets for this headboard. I was able to use the pallet for the framing too. If you build the framing with new 2x4's than you will need 3 pallets to build it. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!

What kind of oil was used on the wood?
boiled linseed oil. they sell it at home depot or lowes. cheap price and works great.
