I can’t put into words how happy I am to see this series not get canceled yet. It truly is a gift to Superman fans who’ve had to put up with evil superman for years.

I love how they completely gave up on making the Alex reveal into a plot twist. Everybody and their mother knew that he was Lex.

Honestly I respect the approach. They saw everyone had correctly guessed the twist so they decided to just let the fans have their “I called it” moment. It’s not like the reveal is important for the storyline
@@MadameTammafunny how two completely opposite approaches to handling people guessing secrets in a show are perfectly valid choices.
Here, it was revealing that plot point in the trailer before the season comes out.
In Gravity Falls, there was a major plot point guessed by the fanbase way too early and the creators of the show uploaded to Reddit a photo with a “fake” drawing shown on a monitor in the studio as a red herring and left it for an hour before deleting it so their fanbase would take a detour in theories until the actual reveal happened.
I’m hoping to see more dangerous enemies. Like Metallo and Doomsday.

Strangely, many plots place Superman, Batman and Spider-Man as the culprits of their supervillains, even though many of them became monsters by choice.

Lex Luthor and Supergirl/Kara Danvers in the show. Season 1 was good and all, but I know Season 2 is about to be amazing. Can’t wait. First, Season 2 of the Smiling Friends is coming this May, and now Season 2 of My Adventures with Superman is coming this May.

At least this Season most the bad guys are Superman roughs. Unlike Mist, the big guy, The Brain, Mallah, gender swapped Heatwave, Dr Ivo, and Death Stroke. Seriously why these villains in this show? And bonus this time we get other heroes Supergirl and Steel.

This was a legitimately a really awesome interpretation on the Man of Steel and I'm glad its getting a 2nd season and praise it deserves

Season One gave me a new found appreciation for Superman I never had before. Definitely looking forward to Season 2! I hope Warner Bros. continues to promote this series in preparation for James Gunn’s Superman movie next year.
I know this series is its own continuity and has no relation to James Gunn’s Superman, but I’d like to see this show get all the promotion and exposure it can get. As of now, it still feels surprisingly underrated. I hope this series continues to grow and develop its characters and storylines and gains a strong fan following to support it. I think this show deserves it. :)
I think James Gunn even likes this show according to some sources, but don’t quote me on that.
Wow, Supergirl already? Young Justice took 4 whole seasons to get to her and only as a hook for the 5th season that now may never come.
The keyword here being "may" but that doesn't make it DEFINITE
Superman: TAS introduced her in the final season too, but at least they actually did something with her besides start her off as a warped bad guy with Sergeant Marvel (Mary's codename there and it sounds a lot better than Mary Marvel, her designiation is B15, Freddy's B14 and using the old Lieutennant Marvel name so he can actually speak his codename without revealing his secret identity because Captain Marvel Jr makes about as much sense as Mary Marvel as a codename which was also changed for secret identity purposes.) choosing to go bad.
Also it took YJ half the time to get to Supergirl as it did for Smallville to do it. It took Smallville 8 seasons!
Super Friends' comics (treated as show canon) used her sporadically.
They had to rush the Krypton subplot somehow. Clark can't understand what his dad is saying, so the LLL is pretty much the only lead they have. Maybe Kara's escape pod actually had a translator built in, so she can deliver the exposition dump.
@@jardex2275 Kara might be open to helping Clark at first, with her just waking up from being in the phantom zone, the show could pull a twist and have her work for lex luthor. Lex could manipulate supergirl into joining him against Superman with fake news about how Superman is dangerous. this supergirl doesn’t know a lot about earth and with krypton destroyed, who knows who she’ll trust now

@@MK_ULTRA_HDTV Alex Alston is one of the successors to the Parasite mantle, and it wouldn't be out there for him to use the tech after his boss did.
But everyone knew it was Luthor because there's no reason to hide Alston's last name.

I still remember my skepticism when I first heard someone thought he was Lex. Then I realized there was good reason to suspect that since he kept returning and was only known by his full name "Alex." I'm excited to see Supe's arch rival finally dive in.

I'm gonna give the best Superman series of the last decade to Superman and Lois. Not that My Adventures with Superman is bad, but I don't think it's writing is nearly as strong as Superman and Lois. I feel like this show struggled slightly finding it's footing in the first season and didn't really know what it was aiming for. Some episodes were really strong while others missed the mark.
Season 2 on the other hand seems like they have a strong idea of where they are going if they are introducing Brainiac, Zod, Darkseid or at the very least a reference to Apokolips, Supergirl, and Lex Luthor.
@@foolserrand-lu7ymJLU ended in 2006, which nearly two decades ago. The show is amazing, but it isn't recent. It's old, just like you and I.

The parademon usually means darkseid is coming, But i do think we will only get a tease of him till later, supes is NOT ready for space satan yet.

I don’t think Darkseid will be a full on threat in this season. My guess would be that he’s going to be hinted at and we may see a lackey or two of his but considering where the story is at now, I doubt we’ll get Darkseid this soon
@MadameTamma I think the show confirmed that Superman will get stronger as he goes on. The more he uses his powers and the more experience he gains, the more of a powerhouse he will become. Knowing Darkseid, he'll take a huge interest in Superman and send some scouts to test Supes' might. HE'll keep doing this until the big man himself decides to drop by.

My favorite parts of this series is that even though he met his father he never found out what he truly is considering the language barrier only assuming he's a weapon. The other is Lois didn't fall in love with Superman then Clark but fell in love with Clark who is who Superman truly is.
