I love that roughhouse slammed superman's face into the ground, and all it did was wake him *back up* after Banshee's sonic attack.
Clark might still be growing into what he's really capable of, but *that* is some real superman energy.
Even Tyler Hoechlin's superman is far better than this garbage

It is such a breath of fresh air having super man struggle with fights because of a lack of power. I think a big reason why many people think he's boring is because his power set allows him to do pretty much anything. He's basically a demi-god and is pretty hard to write around that. Having him be weaker helps us have at least a bit of dreed when he gets into a fight because he might not make it out okay.
More like they have no idea how to write a character with Superman in mind. writing a character that is closely op is possible. I mean take a look at one punch man.
With Superman and the modern age, they just focus on the powers the most, not the heart, some are exceptional like this one and Superman and Lois, but in the animated series of superman and JL show, it can be good to watch.
And having a SuperBoims was a great touch haha
It's not about the powers. Most people think he's boring because most people know next to nothing about the character they are as we call: normies. The only thing they know is that he's red and blue and really strong. The comics work around this by giving him stories that revolve around his morality and fitting in. If more movies did that he wouldn't be seen as "boring" same with normies thinking that. It's funny that no one thinks that about Flash or Hulk. He doesn't need to be weaker he needs to feel like he no longer fits in and that's what makes superman superman.
@@TheUnseenPath THIS! This is very true! Man of Steel, while good, didn't exactly showcase Superman correctly. all they had is just showcase power but didn't delved anything than that. Superman Returns, while is the closes to a Superman movie other than the main two, failed because no one understands Sups as a character as it's kinda a rehash of lines and story beats to the previous two.

How th in the universe which has Raven, Green Lanterns, Wonder Woman (a literal goddess!), Captain Atom, New *gods* Supes is still considered OP? Half of his rogue gallery is a match for his power level, while fellas like Darkseid, Parasite, Elite and etc. are even more powerful than him!

I am not certain whether or not Bruno ( AKA Ugly) would appear later on in My Adventures With Superman but he is the leader of Intergang and was responsible for setting up Toyman's father, a kindly old toymaker, for a crime he did not commit and later died in jail before he got paroled.

How young is this Superman? How is he having trouble. I havent seen the series yet cause im waiting for the all the episodes but ive seen some clips and this is confusing?
Very young. He's only recently started heroing, he doesn't even have all of his powers yet.

I believe the last episode put him at 22, and he's an intern so probably fresh out of college.
This superman is very young and doesent even understand his basic powers yet.
Creators claimed they love dragonball and want superman to work his way up to God hood status instead if just having it. This is pretty much his anime universe and I hope he gets to develop throughout many seasons. Otherwise he will remain the weakest animated version this far.

1. He is still learning his powers, heck he just got his heat vision here. He is still learning how they work
2. He is also holding back. Superman ALWAYS holds back a lot of his power. We saw that once he got slightly serious he tossed RoughHouse away like he weighed nothing

Silver Banshee is literally one of my favorite DC villains (tied with Shaggy Man) but I'm not feeling this version of her at all. I hate how they made her just a cute anime chick instead of a freaky ghost, but the biggest problem I have with it is the fact that without the helmet/tech she wears, she doesn't have any powers otherwise. I really wish they kept her powers supernatural, since one of Superman's biggest weaknesses, other than Kryptonite, is magic!
The myth of the Banshee also works really well in adding some extra stakes to the stories she's in, and her backstory and motivations really helped her stand out. They literally took one of the most interesting DC villains and ruined everything she had going for her PLUS turning everything into this stupid anime design. Leave it to weebs to mess everything up!
They didn't even give her an Irish accent!!
I wholeheartedly agree with this entire comment. I hope that the theory of “the tech will turn our villains into eventual metahumans” is correct.
EDIT - I didn’t know that Banshee (the character) was Irish. I know that the Banshee itself is inspired or derived from Irish folklore.

Yes, she is. She's actually one of the more interesting DC Villains, Silver Banshee had a curse placed on her by her family and was sent to the underworld. She escaped and is looking for the items that will lift the curse. Since she keeps killing her way to them, this makes her clash with Superman alot.
To me, that's a HELLUVA lot more interesting than the pissy anime-chick they turned her into for this shitty show.
@@austinharvey7644tbf we saw the tech altered some of the villains biology(Livewire and parasite) so it’s likely the same happened or will happen to Intergang. As for the anime design, the show was clearly anime inspired from the start

@@thedarknight307But we have yet to see if it will do the same to Banshee! It shouldn't have BEEN anime in the first place, since that's so far removed from the usual style of Superman stories! Plus it's so uninspired on top of that! Rather than being unique and memorable, it's just the same generic anime we've always been bored with.

It kept the idea of Superman, being wholesome and loveable, having the power of a god but being just a good person to use it.
And it’s only the first season, and they had only so many episodes.
