FYI, The Bruce Chapin Bridge is in WAKEMAN. It overlooks the Art Deco US 20 Highway Bridge that has an historical marker next to it. The trail now continues to Genoa to its city park complex. Glad you enjoyed the time on the NCIT.
I enjoyed your video. Are you aware, however, that the trail is complete to Genoa now and does not end in Elmore? Paved and a small portion on country road. Hope you can check it out on your next trip!
Thank you. After the trip, I did see that four miles were added between Genoa and Elmore. www.thenews-messenger.com/story/news/local/2021/04/23/north-coast-inland-bike-trail-now-links-elmore-genoa/7349023002/ I hope the Metroparks update their maps to share that. www.lovemyparks.com/parks/north-coast-inland-trail
Thank you for the video. Those head winds looked really strong by the way the flags were blowing. I have ridden portions of the trail many times. I ride from Elyria to the lake (mile 0 often) newer section mile 4 to 0. I biked mile 20 to 40 and back early this week and got rained on the first couple miles but was dry the rest of the way. You are a strong rider to do the entire trail. Thank you as your video inspired me to ride portions I have not ridden before. If you start at the lake (0) you could do a century ride (one way)
Thank you! That is a great idea. I enjoy the Black River trail, which is part of that connection to the lake. I don't think they had that route/connection to the lake officially established when I did this ride. Now I'm looking forward to trying it from the lake. Thanks again.
They have added new trail through cascade park (miles 12 and 13) Signage not good once you go over turnpike to cascade park and coming out of cascade to Elyria. The scenery is amazing at Cascade park and they are making this a awesome trail. I hope you do a video if riding a century! There is a large marina right at mile 0 to the lake is another mile. People hang locks on a chain link fence. Not sure why?
Getting ready to do a "Ride Till I Die" around-the-world bicycle tour and would love to know how you shoot your videos! What's your set-up? Everyone tells me I need to video, but I've not even taken, like, three selfies in my life. :D Thanks! I'm a Sheffield Village native! :D
I use an Insta360 One X2. It captures a 360 view on video, that I can edit after the ride and choose the point of view for the video. www.insta360.com/product/insta360-onex2
Elmore is not the end of the the NCIT. It continues onward to Genoa, there is a sign when you arrive at Veterans Memorial Park that says END North Coast Inland Trail. But even then I'm not 100% if that's the true terminus, I heard rumors that the NCIT continues onward to Toledo, where it picks up I'm not sure.
Looks like BIG fun!!!
I enjoyed "riding" with you. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!

You are absolutely right! Thank you for the correction
Nice video, I live in Fremont and you probably rode right past my house. That's quite a ride, I ride between Clyde and Lindsey. Love the trail

Thank you!
Another very entertaining video! Well done, sir!
I'm impressed with the countryside and the rivers, and with your vitality. Myself, I'm exhausted when you end.

These last few miles are in Ottawa County.
Another great video and beautiful trail. Hopefully I can ride it at some point.
Thank you! It's amazing the work people have put in to give us this trail.
@@briansadventures that's so true

By the way, Kipton does have a very nice park and trailhead across the trail from the industrial buildings.

Thanks for the update. The trail has also grown from Elyria into Lorain.
