Chub fishing on the Essex Stour

I spent a couple of hours fishing on my local river for roach but the roach were not biting but had a few chub on a freezing cold day.

Nice watch Ian,it's always handy to carry a bottle ov glycerin in those conditions, stop ya rod rings from freezing up

Great video,love the 506 i bought one brand new back when they first came out and still have it.I am a member of SLMAA and fished the cornard mill section,and have also fished Glemsford as i lived there when i moved from London.I assume thats the Essex side of the Mill and i have to say it looks great there.Lovely chub Ian and enjoy your videos....

Just found your videos Ian,a great watch, having been in and around the stour for 40 odd years(Stoke and nayland) it's difficult to tell where you are? Bures,Wiston,nayland,boxted? Great watch anyway

No mate there were barbel put in the stour years ago but very rare
