- Hello, here is step by step installation tutorial for the KTM 690 storage kit from RADE/GARAGE. The installation is the same also for GG 700 and Husqvarna 701.

Uuug, the provided hose does not fit my engine port.
It fits the left side port. But not below on the engine.
The provided hose fits inside of the old hose with plenty of room to spare. It's way too small!
I noticed you don't show how to hook that part up in the video...😢
What kind of grease do you use?
Can it works with 690 smcr 2012?
Does it affect AFR on Euro5 bikes? So it needs tuning or is it good to go on stock euro5 bikes?
I can only talk from experience with the rottweiler airbox (likely more powerful), and it's definitely okay to go with stock ECU, but if you want the horsepower gains you should definitely dyno tune the ECU or get a PC6. Mine rode quite lean with the airbox and header changed, but not terribly so.
@@xxcoolxx3942 Thank you for the feedback. I'm not really interested in more HP (bike has plenty enough) but don't feel 100% confortable running it with mods like different airbox and get it even more lean that could do damage on the long term
@@aib666 Yeah it definitely does run lean, especially at lower RPMs. Even if you don't mind the top end power, higher torque on the lower end is always fun.
I recommend the PC6 so that you can change back and forth until you find the right map you're looking for.

Definitely needs tuning. It was off the scale lean on my 23 at lower revs. Throttle was messy too. Now after ecu flash I can pop up the front at low revs without the clutch.
Only downside of the rade airbox: VERY noisy…
