    I really like wise for its simplicity and flexibility even though at the moment it has so much restrictions in Turkey

      Thanks for the feedback, Ramson!
      To be sure, convenience is always our goal, although in the process we do need to adhere to local regulations as well. So while there's indeed some restrictions for our users in Türkiye at this time, we're working on it, and hope to have better news again in future 👍

    I love wise. It would be amazing to be able to connect different jars to the WiseCard or different virtual cards ❤

    • @Wise
      @Wise  4 дні тому +1

      Hey, Tigah. So jars are meant to help you save money, so it's kept separate from your balances. That's why you can’t spend it with your debit card. But, you can send the funds from it like you would from a balance 😉

    Hello, i have a question regarding withdraw money from ATM:
    We have to pay an extra cost (tax) of 1.75% for every amount that exceeds 200€ and we have a limit of 4K per month to withdraw from ATM.
    I do not understand if we still have to pay an extra cost (tax) of 1.75%, if we simply withdraw for example 1K but 5x 200€, so we never exceed the 200€ mark? Do we automatically pay 1.75% tax per every € after we withdraw a total amount more than 200€, even though each withdrawal amount per time was always lower than 200€?

    Another question I have is regarding the amount of money we can withdraw per month, can we manually change this value (more than 4K) and if yes, what is the maximum amount?

    • @Wise
      @Wise  4 місяці тому +2

      Hi 🙂 You can withdraw up to 200 EUR for free twice per month - so this idea you offered wouldn't work. After you use up the two free withdrawals, a fixed fee on 0.50 EUR and a variable fee of 1.75% would apply. We explain this in depth here: wi.se/withdrawalfees.
      The monthly withdrawal limit is something we're unable to change, and for EUR it would be 4K: wi.se/wisedebitcardlimits.

    I’ve been using wise for a few years now. Love it overall, except the fact that it’s not available in Pakistan anymore

    • @Wise
      @Wise  5 місяців тому +1

      Hi there - thanks for reaching out. Wise is available in Pakistan, however, due to changes in financial laws and regulations, we might need to make changes to the products and features we offer in different regions. This is to ensure that we continue to work within the rules we're governed by.
      If you've opened a new account with us, and find that you're unable to open a balance and get account details to receive money, this is because sometimes we need to make changes that only affect new accounts. It's possible that older Wise accounts have access to different features than new ones. You can still send more with Wise: wi.se/howtosendmoney.
      Please feel free to reach out to us over on social media for more help. This can be on X/Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, or alternatively through this link: wi.se/contactus - we're here to help 💚

    How can you pay through your balance wise personal balance to open a business account?

    • @Wise
      @Wise  4 місяці тому +1

      Hey, there 👋 If your business is registered in EEA, Switzerland and the UK, you can only pay the fee using your business debit/credit card.
      If your business is located in other regions, it's free to sign up, and the fee to open account details depends on where your business is registered. You can pay the fee using your business debit/credit card, or from your business balance account. If you want to pay from there, you would first need to add money to your account. Check out this page for more info: wi.se/getbankdetails
      Please know that we have a specialized business team who’s happy to look into your matter, and help further if you have any more specific questions about your account. Reach out to us through email or call from here: wi.se/contactus. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
      You might also want to check our Business FAQ from here: wi.se/help.

      Do you mean that you'd like to make a payment for your transfer using your American Express card? We currently don't accept American Express cards. We only accept Visa, Mastercard, and some Maestro cards. Check out this page for more info: wi.se/payingbycard
      We'd suggest that you'd pay with other card, or other payment method such as bank transfer: wi.se/payingbybanktransfer

    Could you please compare rates for wise vs fidelity/charles Schwab? I am in the market and looking for a solution on foreign exchange while abroad. Could you give an example of how much money savings wise provides when compared to those atm fee reimbursed accounts? Many thanks

    • @Wise
      @Wise  4 місяці тому +1

      Hi Yan. Thanks for the feedback! We believe in transparent pricing without hidden fees. Unlike traditional methods, Wise operates through local bank transfers, eliminating international and intermediary fees. Check out info on how we compare to Fidelity: wi.se/fidelity and Charles Schwab: wi.se/charlesschwab
      Though we don't reimburse atm fees, you get 2 free withdrawals per calendar month. After your second withdrawal, we’ll charge a small fixed fee per withdrawal: wi.se/withdrawalfees We always use the exchange rate you'll usually see on Google, ensuring fair and cheap money transfers every time.
      Transparency is one of our top priorities. That's why we offer our customers a comparison tool, which you can use to compare the exchange rates beforehand here: wi.se/comparerates

    Why can't I send money to Tajikistan?

    • @Wise
      @Wise  2 місяці тому

      Hey there. Currently, customers in Tajikistan are not eligible to balances, so they won't be able to hold or receive money into their account. We’re always working on making all features of the Wise account available to more people and businesses. See more info here: wi.se/balanceavailability Thanks for your understanding.
      Also, currently, we don't support transfers from or to TJS. However, you should still be able to send transfers to Tajikistan by paying with USD and EUR via the SWIFT network, see more here: wi.se/swiftpayments
