Lovely vid. Is Revolut ok for transferring large sums of money. eg a car or property. I would like the app on the PC rather than the phone is that possible.
I have the basic card and it works great. I do use a debit card and Visa card in Europe. But, charge my Revolut for travel outside. It's like a Visa card. It's so easy to set up. Would recommend it!!

Well they have changed the terms of conditions...now their travel insurance only covers 30 days and 90 days for ultra...so it's basically holiday insurance, useless for long term travelers... Here's what they say on their site: "Metal plan holders are covered for the first 30 days of your trip Ultra plan holders are covered for the first 90 days of trips"

Thank You for the review. Been trying to decide whether to go with Wise or Revolut. Appreciate the info. I was eagerly waiting for this but in my country you basically have to pay to get RevPoints sadly... You need to have a roundup feature enabled to earn RevPoints. €1 = 50points So if you have roundup of x1 enabled and you spend €1.90 -> you pay 0.10 and get 5 points
hi I have reviolut basic account loaded the card with gbp and used it in supermarket to pay for shopping in euros when I was abroad. I wasnt charged any fee. My question is , are you supposed to exchange the currency within the app first ? and have like gbp and euros ?
From what I have read and viewed you don't need to exchange the currency first, it will do it on the fly. So, loaded with GBP, it'll convert and pay in euros when shopping. However, there is a small fee when exchanging currency at a weekend. I'm in Spain in a couple of weeks, have GBP loaded and will convert to euros when I am at the airport on the Friday.
You don't have to exchange the currency. It will happen automatically on the payment. However, keep in mind that the exchange rate can change every day, so when paying for the same items you may see a different amount. So it's best to find the greatest offer and exchange the currency that you use frequently.
Nim's husband has travel and medical insurance, which he is covered by, and can withdraw money every month. However, Nim did not know what to do, so Nim consulted her older sister, who saw that she was a person.
@chinlesswonderkid The card transmit a payment for xxx currency to Revolut. Revolut accounts allows to store multiple currencies. If your currency is too-low, Revolut converts from the main currency automatically.
its really funny how he says he doesn't think a bank will close your account for no reason just to steal your money and provides no proof of that. just loled. this is practically happening since the first bank ever launched.

In the US. This video is about the UK. Revolut rarely do CREDIT cards, those are DEBIT cards. In my own country, "good" credit cards are an oxymoron, as it basically means paying several dozen euros per month to enter into debt.

clearly a case of AML experts and fraudsters^^
In the uk at least, if a bank freezes an account because of presumed fraud they are legally not allowed to let the account holder know the reason

I guess the Ultra plan is to demonstrate their ability to have a premium offering

Does this type of credit card have life insurance on it? I don't want to know if it's for travel or death.
There are no life insurance products attached to this or any other uk debit or credit cards.

For the free option, is a physical card included?
Same question!
You get a "free" physical card for a one time fee for shipping (8€ in GER), but not metal

It means that Revolut is still not in your country and that you will be notified once they launch.
