Helpful hint with Dysons and stairs - except for the Outsize. The cleaner head is the perfect size for stair treads and you don't even need to use the mini motorized head unless you want to do a really careful, detailed job. And of course, the full-sized head is much faster than the mini.
Purchased a V11 Animal ( based on previous review from this channel :D ) about ten days before Christmas direct from Dyson USA and it came with a removable battery and a free dusting brush. We love it so far and we love this channel too.
For those who are curious, I purchased the V11 Animal+ today from Costco and it has a removable battery! It did not indicate this feature on the box so I was surprised when I opened it 🙌🏼
@@Ebu26 around 03:56 in the video I think the Outsize was the only V11 that has the removable battery option but maybe Dyson is moving towards making all models with that option. Not sure.

Here in the Netherlands we got different configurations from dyson. All models have gotten a facelift with the 'extra' added and because of that they all have removable batteries. We got the Torque drive, the animal and the absolute but we don't get the outsize. The animal is the same price as the torque drive but the animal gets an extra apolstery attachment (both got the mini turbo) but the motorhead brush instead of the torque drive (and all of the v11 get lcd's). We also get the absolute in the Netherlands wich has the fluffy roller. And we have a v11 pro wich is bacically an absolute package with an extra battery and extra floor dock if you don't want to hang the thing. Cheers
i started with a v10 absolute and after showing it to my mum, i upgraded to a v11 outsize that comes with the soft roller plus 2 more extra attachments over the v10 absolute suite. for 1300 aud it wasnt cheap but it is lightyears better than any other vacuum so far including dysons ball vacuum which mum had. i also got a free 2nd battery which is awesome
I know this comparison was made six months ago, but the currently $399 price of the V11 Torque Drive make that one the hands down choice of the three now, IMO.
On the one hand, I want the remaining battery time on the screen because it's useful. On the other hand, what are you going to do if it's 10 minutes, not vacuum something or vacuum faster? They'll both run out and you'll pick up where you left off regardless of screen.
I ended up just getting the V10 absolute on Black Friday since it comes with the soft head. The common areas in my house are hardwood while the bedrooms are carpet, so I wanted both heads. Have no complaints so far. Much more convenient and does a better job than my old corded hoover.
I read somewhere all v11s since March 2020 have removable batteries. I can confirm my Animal v11 bought in Dec 2020 has a push button removable battery, and Dyson on their website has replacement animal batteries (push button removable) for about $140.
Bought an Outsize on an Amazon Black Friday sale, HOLY CRAP it is way better than the Bissell XR Pet that is getting returned. First it clogs WAY less and second the suction power cannot be matched. Purchased a Dyson V11 outsize, this is going to replace my old dyson ball. My thought process was, deep cleaning/power, storage space and wider head. Also the 2x battery included was a no brainer for me. It will be nice to finally go wireless. I'll probably have this unit for atleast 3-4 years at a minimum.
Just bought the V11 Outsize here in the US from Best Buy (on sale). I have low pile carpet and linoleum/flat tile rest of the house. I was able to clean my whole 3000 sq ft house on Eco mode and only lost 15% battery. Haven’t tried Auto mode yet to see if it picks up better but from my one test so far Eco mode did the job perfectly and is the quietest setting. Is more expensive but if you have a medium sized/2 story home like me it’s almost a no brainer
Just bought the V11 torque drive and it’s awesome... I didn’t like the heaviness of the outsize but wanted the LCD. had a Dyson upright for at least 15 years before it bit the dust. Hope to get a few years out of this one...
Bought the V11 Torque drive from Best Buy on 4/8/21 and it came with a removable battery and it apparently is an updated model which also comes with a stronger motor. The model on the bottom of the box is SV15. The SV15 comes with a 220AW motor vs the 180AW motor on the SV14.

I think best bang for buck is V11 Torque. As of today, 12/8/2024, Dyson V11 Torque Certified Refurbished (I purchased one and it looks like brand new no sign of damage or usage) is $279.99 at Dyson's official eBay store including 2 years extended warranty provided by SquareTrade an Allstate company compared to only 6 months Dyson warranty offered at Dysons official website. (I believe first 6 months Dysons warranty then SquareTrade takes over)

V11 Absolute in Canada has the soft fluffy roller head for Hardwood floors included in the box. I would recommend every V11 owner to get one if you have hardwood flooring or tiles. They pick up the finest dust from the cracks! Best accessory ever.
Hello - Question ? Please explain what is meant by suction 101" vs 112 " and unsealed 1.92 KPA vs 1.57 KPA ? Did the animal actually perform better than the torque drive in your carpet and hard floor tests ? Thx John

Quick correction: you accidentally swapped the values for Unsealed Suction between the Animal and Torque Drive on your graphic. The correct values can be seen in the shot with the spreadsheet.
Excellent review. I own the Dyson V8, but I would like the clickable battery option on the V11 Outsize but on the V11 Torque Drive. I've read that some people report the newer V11 Torque have the clickable battery. Dyson's website is vague and no help.

Small correction. The v11 absolute is also available in Sweden, and possibly the rest of Europe.
The problem with these dysons.. Well.. I've had a Dyson 10 for a few years now, and the mouth piece stops spinning after some time... I got one replaced from dyson them selves, and after a few months, again, the cylinder-thing stops spinning all the time.. which makes the vacum cleaner completely useless... I wouldn't really recommend a dyson because of this

Thank you so very much for this wonderful video. I had my husband watch it with me. We are curious to know if you know which V11 Turbo model has the click in battery. Is there another number we should be looking for on the box / unit?
Why do your numbers on these vacuums vary from video to video? I'm specifically referring to CFM and suction numbers.
You can get the absolute in Canada as well. I just picked one up.
i saw it at lowes for 899
Dyson torque drive extra will be delivered in 2 days. Cant wait! In NL they have clickable batteries.
How do u like it so far?
Quick correction: you accidentally swapped the values for Unsealed Suction between the Animal and Torque Drive on your graphic. The correct values can be seen in the shot with the spreadsheet.
thank you!
@@VacuumWars No problem! Great video!
Any plans to test a Tineco s11 version? I got my mom the s11 Tango for Christmas but can't find too many videos for them.
Great review, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
V11 absolute isnt uk only. You can buy it also in the eu.
I just bought the v11 absolute in Canada too!
@@christined4347 so its definitely not uk exclusive.
@@chrishalle1982 nope!
Canada too
How about dyson digital slim ?
See if you can test Hoover wind tunnel 3 just curious
Awesome Thanks.
You're welcome!
I wouldn't really recommend a dyson because of this
Interesting. I've had a V8 and that's never occurred in 5 years of use. But I think I've heard this issue mentioned elsewhere.
Just got myself a shark anti hair wrap, duo clean truepet machine, I cant wait for it to arrive!
I gave my shark away, a piece of junk compared to the Dyson
Good luck
Good video
Awesome video! Thank you so much!
Glad you liked it!
