Modern Waterfall Bench

I pulled this piece of Pecan wood from my burn pile and made a modern style waterfall bench. I cover a few tips on past mistakes made on my last waterfall project and give some information on the different types of welders used in furniture making as I weld the metal leg. Enjoy!

The silicone doesn't cause fisheye when you're finishing? Nice piece !

Not at all, so much sanding between that step and the finishing I think there is no trace of silicone left.. However, there was a small bit of what I think was the C-A glue keeping the finish from sinking in on one spot. Might not be the case but something odd about 1 spot. Looks good though.

Nice looking bench. Was that side kick while 45ing the slab your method of shutting off the power? At first I thought you might have been shooing away a goat 😆

Yeah, last thing I want to do is walk in front of that blade while it's running.. Happy to just give the stop a kick.
