Sui yu = terrapin, similar to turtle.
How you catch a terrapin? You press in down by the shell.
Someone is a sui yu when you can press it a great deal. Or someone you can take excessive advantage of.
Don't treat me as a sui yu means don't treat me as a dumbo and take excessive advantage of me.
This is also accusing the opposing party of profiteering and unethical.
On a formal exchange, the opposing party may take offence.
Dealing with a street hustler, however, it's a norm.

You can't separate yourself with China using Cantonese. Cantonese come from communist China too. You should propagate only English should be Hong Kong language and gradually you will return to British. :)

Hong Kong is unique and it's because of it's Chinese-British culture. Even though China may not be the best country out here but they are slowly opening up and becoming capitalist
