And this is the origin of the insanity of the original Sherlock fandom. Waiting 2-3 years to figure out what happened in that goddamned pool. Also, one thing I like about that ending scene is that when Sherlock looks at John, before pointing the gun at the bomb, John actually nods ever so slightly. So, Sherlock was actually asking John for permission. Edit: ALSO, before John reveals the bomb, he’s blinking out SOS in Morse code, which is a tactic that has been used by prisoners of war to get messages through otherwise scripted videos
You were asking how he knew about that Supernova. If you listen to the video whilst he's fighting the super tall guy, you can hear the fact being repeatedly played after the tape kept getting rewound.
I'm SO happy I found these reactions I watched the show as it aired. In 2010 I got a cat and name in Sherlock (I'm stroking him rn!) and in 2014 I wrote my dissertation on the show. I've missed this feeling you guys have captured on camera... of being so hyped about this show!
Sherlock has, and he does in the original books I think as well, a homeless network. People living on the streets keeping an eye out for information for Sherlock. Because they see things but aren't seen or not remembered. (It's sad, but useful for Sherlock)
Exactly and I love that they didn't go with "He has to look like a villain". It's so refreshing to see such a goofy little guy being the most dangerous person!
What I got from the beginning is Sherlock is bored and his adversary -- Jim Moriarty -- is toying with Sherlock because he too is bored. Like DI Lestrade I have to have the pieces put before me and only then can I understand. I was not counting on my memory for this episode and just prior to watching your reaction I saw the whole show all over again. My gosh there is so much to consume in one sitting! The cinematography, pace of the story and musical arrangement are excellent. I don't skip the intro for fear of missing something, and who knows, maybe there are gems hidden in plain sight the writers have snuck in on us!
If you are impressed with Sherlock's mental abilities, you will enjoy reading the original books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This TV series follows the stories fairly closely. Which makes it fun to compare when the TV series parallels the books. It will also help you identify the character names. Cheers!
A great show to react to that’s similar to Sherlock but in more of a comedy setting is Psych! The main character is also hyper-observant and it makes it so fun to try and figure out the cases along with them!

I fucking adore Martin freeman’s skill in microexpressions and saying paragraphs with just his eyebrowd
Feel he's such an underrated actor, have you checked him out in Start-Up?
Andrew Scott smashes the Moriarty character out the park. The casting in Sherlock was just brilliant
We had to wait almost 2 years to see what happens after that cliffhanger! Can't wait until season 2
Haha I heard about that, that would've drove me nuts. - John

Moriarty might just be the only villain that I love. He's such a douchebag but also the only rival who can match up to sherlock

Magnusson-Love to hate him
Moriarty-hate that I love him 😆
Lmao it gets me every time you say Moriarty's name wrong XD
Between Sherlock and Avatar, you guys are killing a couple of great shows right now. Keep it up guys, good stuff.
Thanks!!
Sherlock's cliffhangers got me shitting bricks

Sherlock has a group of homeless people who he pays to get information for him. It's also part of the original novel
All the seasons only have 3 episodes each. And a bonus one (Abominable Bride)
I love this show! Can’t wait for your next reactions
Thank you!!

Bro the dude on the right reminds me so much of Tim Dillon in voice and his face animation
"Oh shit, I was not expecting that"
