In the future far from here when Genshin is finally complete. Every single piece of soundtrack will become nostalgic too. But the city of mondstadt will remain the city of freedom and the land of beginnings for all the players that lived to tell the tale.
I've only started playing Genshin about five months ago at the time I made this comment, but hearing this makes me feel nostalgic. I miss the old days when I used to feel so happy getting four-star characters for the first time that I now have at c6. Time flies so fast indeed.

Lovers’ Oath carries such tenderness in it. I know it wasn’t officially called “Guizhong’s Lullaby,” but I can’t help but remember the memory of dust and Guizhong calling it the mark of their pledge. They had no formal contract but they walked the same path. I really hope we can learn more about her in the future quests.

I don't know why but it feels like the end of an era. The era of Mondstat devalin and andruis, when we first met amber and jean. When we encountered venti in the forest. The era of Liyue and Zhongli faking his death. The fallen jade chamber, the first time fighting childe and the pain I felt. I feel so nastalgic already😢
About the final track - Lovers Oath and global players's misunderstanding Pls there's NO soundtrack called "Guizhong's lullaby" or sth like that FROM THE START. It was just a fanmade! This soundtrack played when we first met Xiao at Wangshuu Inn. And Wangshuu Inn - where is in a high place/ stone or sth, is "a haven for lovers' moonlit rendezvous" (ingame description). Surround it was canes (Dihua Marsh). They are all fit the soundtrack's name with the line which from a Chinese poem, you can see it in Chinese version! (My English s_cks, I'm so sorry)
“Innocent age” is such a heartfelt and childish theme yet it reminds you of the great times you had in the past freely as a kid, klee is really lucky huh
I like to imagine that the game's music reflects the way the protagonist sees this world. It's fun seeing how the soundtrack slowly transitioned from Mondstadt's magical, relaxing music to Inazuma's depressing and creepy ambiance.
I saw a post on Genshin Group said that Lovers Oath was played in Xiao and Traveller first meeting so this song is about them (idk if it’s true or not) and ‘Guizhong’s lullaby’ is just a fanmade name. (sr my Eng is bad)
People assume that the relationship between Zhongli and Guizhung is a lover because, first we once meet xiao at wangshu in and it located around Guili plain where guizhong died. Second is, theres still a version of humming woman who sings this song. So technically they can think that the one who sing is possibly Guizhong.
the song ends before we meet xiao, it plays as we observe the landscape so it’s not directly connected to anybody. it is probably linked to the romantic vibes the Inn is described to have in game tho

Imho while it's true that Lovers' Oath does not necessarily refers to Guizhong and Zhongli, saying that it does not correlate to them is not entirely true too, though. Mhy hasn't confirmed anything about what this song is about, so people can interpret this however the fck they want. There's no true or false to said interpretations at this point. Heck, if you ask me, given the scene this song was played in-game, the 'Lovers' could also refer to Verr Goldet and Huai'an.
It's just a BGM for the Wangshu Inn and its Dihua Marsh backdrop, a place for lovers in general. It's pretty obvious based on the Chinese names given to the place and the song (Dihua marsh with all the reeds, title of the song referring to reeds, which is referring to a pretty well known Chinese poem about lovers), but obviously people who can't read Chinese and don't have basic knowledge of Chinese poetry/play of words won't get it immediately, and that's to be expected. At the end of the day, people can correlate the song to whatever, however they want.

Whether or not this particular song had any hidden meaning or not is up to debate, but until the creators confirmed it, people are free to interpret this song however they want and those who disagree with that interpretation don't have the rights to brand it wrong/false or say that their interpretation is the correct one. i would say no, cause this song was called "guizhong's lullaby" by fans, it's not confirmed that its related to her (and it only played once in the main story, when you met Xiao for the first time)
Heard chinese fans were angry at the implication of Zhongli/Guizhong, doubt they'd outright call the pairing canon. It's ambiguous, the 'guizhong lullaby' was a fanon name, so the connection between this song and them are from the fan's perspective.

I saw a post on Genshin Group said that Lovers Oath was played in Xiao and Traveller first meeting so this song is about them (idk if it’s true or not) and ‘Guizhong’s lullaby’ is just a fanmade name.

People assume that the relationship between Zhongli and Guizhung is a lover because, first we once meet xiao at wangshu in and it located around Guili plain where guizhong died. Second is, theres still a version of humming woman who sings this song. So technically they can think that the one who sing is possibly Guizhong.
the song ends before we meet xiao, it plays as we observe the landscape so it’s not directly connected to anybody. it is probably linked to the romantic vibes the Inn is described to have in game tho

And including glaze lily lore which is guizhong’s beloved flowers spreading throughout the land of liyue, many stuffs and theories are so perfect to pair up with them

Imho while it's true that Lovers' Oath does not necessarily refers to Guizhong and Zhongli, saying that it does not correlate to them is not entirely true too, though. Mhy hasn't confirmed anything about what this song is about, so people can interpret this however the fck they want. There's no true or false to said interpretations at this point.
Heck, if you ask me, given the scene this song was played in-game, the 'Lovers' could also refer to Verr Goldet and Huai'an.

It's just a BGM for the Wangshu Inn and its Dihua Marsh backdrop, a place for lovers in general. It's pretty obvious based on the Chinese names given to the place and the song (Dihua marsh with all the reeds, title of the song referring to reeds, which is referring to a pretty well known Chinese poem about lovers), but obviously people who can't read Chinese and don't have basic knowledge of Chinese poetry/play of words won't get it immediately, and that's to be expected. At the end of the day, people can correlate the song to whatever, however they want.

Whether or not this particular song had any hidden meaning or not is up to debate, but until the creators confirmed it, people are free to interpret this song however they want and those who disagree with that interpretation don't have the rights to brand it wrong/false or say that their interpretation is the correct one.

i would say no, cause this song was called "guizhong's lullaby" by fans, it's not confirmed that its related to her (and it only played once in the main story, when you met Xiao for the first time)
Heard chinese fans were angry at the implication of Zhongli/Guizhong, doubt they'd outright call the pairing canon. It's ambiguous, the 'guizhong lullaby' was a fanon name, so the connection between this song and them are from the fan's perspective.
