How Hoyo plans to follow up the development of The Hydro Archon actually kind of scares me, simply because of how much I'm expecting to cry.
Fontaine's soundtrack perfectly illustrates the utter bravado of it's inhabitants. There's an air of sophistication, an ode to romance, not just for love but the love of life itself. So much anxious yearning underneath a facade of refined bravado. Mondstadt felt like home, where you go on fantastical adventures. Liyue felt like being welcomed into a warm and ancient country, while unearthing secrets of old. Inazuma was tranquil and peaceful at times, while also tense enough to make you anticipate your next battle; like the wandering ronin, you find beauty and conflict wherever you go. Sumeru was lively, grand and vast; so deep and so wide that you felt every step could lead to more knowledge of this land. But Fontaine feels as if you can take a step back, enjoy the view, the food, the art and music. Fights itself feel as if it is a romanticized duel, and thus a lot more lighthearted. As a classical music and jazz music lover, Fontaine has my favorite soundtrack in all of the game. There's just so much polish and subtle emotion in every track.

Possibly my second favourite album after the Inazuma one! This can really calm people down over the fact that YuPengChen left the music production team. Hoyomix is still talented to produce banger musics even with the absence of our beloved composer. I believe he will also be happy to see his effort passed onto good hands.

imo this one takes the cake for fontaine's ost. It has that dark mystical feel to it, kinda eerie at the same time its very enticing. Specially that drop at 51:19 it just gives me goosebumps
Although Yu Peng Chen is not in Hoyoverse anymore, the guys that carried on his legacy have kept up our expectations. I swear, if there is anything that is just perfect is Genshin's music. What a time to be alive, to listen to this music quality.
For all of the Fontaine's album that got released today, this is the greatest birthday blessing that I have ever received today. Thank you HOYO-MiX team for creating these wonderful ost.
Fontaine is the most fun I've ever had in genshin in terms of music characters, story, exploration, like everything really. I literally cannot stop glazing this region

20:36 This is the one, the moment I absolutely fell in love with Fontaine, it's criminal that this track is so short but nonetheless, best region in the game so far.
Sumeru is basically an "acquired taste" unless you're exposed to the cultural reference of the music or stayed long enough in the region, i doubt any new traveler will like it. However, i do think that the composition in sumeru is something else.
When I first time heard Fontaine's BGM, it feels like such a new vibes and fresh air. And also indirectly we can know that the story is getting deeper through the BGM vibes.

Genshin's music has always been good and I've always loved it, but this sound track and fontaine's music as a whole has been on another level and has for all intents and purposes swept me off my feet with how good it is, I could listen to all of this for hours upon hours on end without any sort of break from listening to it
27:45 is my favorite track. The song like the character it represents. It sounds so tragic and it makes me emotional every time I hear it. Love this music. Keep it going Genshin.
I wasn’t hyped at all about Fontaine, but I do like French jazz and baroque, so I thought music sounded good. After the Archon quest its definitely my favorite area now.
The Fontaine theme is just a perfect way to introduce the new world. The intensity... everything, and even its rearrangement "Le souvenir avec le crepuscule (Memory of Twilight)" makes it even more powerful. "La nuit silencieuse et paisible (The Silent and Peaceful Night)" is just chef's kiss. Cafe Lucerne is just better with this track in play. "Deductive Rendition" is so good when investigating...it reminds me of Themis soundtracks. I love how "Le fleuve secret" faintly plays and only gets louder when approaching the main area of Fleuvre Cendre. Gotta love the application of lessons from the Veluriyam Mirage soundtrack.
27:45 I remember a scene, a sepia-monochromatic scene while rewinding the past... the past where a dragon incarnate trying to become more human got his biggest regret in life... his work just got it even further from him... being a chief justice loyal to the cold rationality of the code for hundreds of thousands of cases. Just grief and sorrow goes through him, in the form of the skies crying. And now, the clouds clear and the sun reaches out.
57:53 contemporary testimony is like the where you watch furina memories. Without contexts, it might not feel like it, but with the context of the story it is so sad
Releasing 4.0 before announcing Yu-Peng Chen's departure was a really smart way to make sure people are confident in the new composers' skills. These all sound phenomenal.
Я выхода этого альбома ждала больше, чем весь регион. Музыка геншина как всегда на высоте и собрала в себе всё самое лучшее из мировой классической музыки
Haven't seen many mention it but the gameplay of the court cases, the pointing at each other during the trial, and the track that plays during the investigation just have to be nods to the Ace Attorney franchise and I absolutely loved it. Searching for Clues might as well be a courtroom theme from the actual games. Obviously not all court gameplay is a direct reference to the franchise but the inspiration here is pretty overt and neat.
I was studying in the library and got tired, so i took a nap with these calming and pleasant tunes playing in my earphones. That was a most sweet 15 mins nap hehe 💞 Now i go back to studying listening to this
This is what I love about Fontaine the music and now Fontaine became the start and the stop of my login/logout place (after Mondo) whenever I finished my errand, always sit there enjoying the music and Fontaine City scene for a few minutes before logout from the game
Found Them!!! @27:45 The emotions during the Archon Quest, such sadness, such regret, can't help but shed tears. @49:44 The Choir killed it. It was so good in the quest. Now we need Furina's Entrance music, the track when played radiates drama and comedy and I love it.

It always makes me want to get up and dance, even if I don't have a partner. A good waltz is just so moving.
Possibly my second favourite album after the Inazuma one! This can really calm people down over the fact that YuPengChen left the music production team. Hoyomix is still talented to produce banger musics even with the absence of our beloved composer. I believe he will also be happy to see his effort passed onto good hands.
I can't express how much I love HOYO team's music!!! I wrote a whole comment explaining my fantasies, love and appreciation for the tracks made by the team, but refreshed the page, lol. In summary, awesome job! I've listened to and will always have been listening to HOYO discs!!!!
Best Parts: 1:18, 4:39
49:44 gives me a solemn and sacred feeling, and I really enjoy listening to it
imo this one takes the cake for fontaine's ost.
I'm head over heels in love with Fontaine. Never felt more enthusiastic for a genshin region and its respective characters!
Arlecchino's theme and the song in the Traval Trailer is the last song in this video by the way! Once again, thank you HoYo-MiX! 🥳
Youre a life saver man :’) thank you
THANK YOUUUUUUUU
1:52 the main theme of fontaine is my fav and i can talk about how it fits the nation of justice going through a horrific prophecy for hours🫶
HOYO-MiX - thank you for all the amazing, beautiful music you create. Every piece is filled with so much love and creativity. I am in awe of your talent, and grateful I can experience your beautiful dreams.
I listen to this when I study. The most fire game soundtrack ever!!!! (I’ve listened to the first song alone more than 60 times…) Obsessed.
20:36 This is the one, the moment I absolutely fell in love with Fontaine, it's criminal that this track is so short but nonetheless, best region in the game so far.
Second best Region. Nothing will come close to Sumeru antmosphere or music
@@amberxv4777I personally enjoy Fontaine's music because of the setting, but you're right, Sumeru's music is out of this world
Sumeru is basically an "acquired taste" unless you're exposed to the cultural reference of the music or stayed long enough in the region, i doubt any new traveler will like it. However, i do think that the composition in sumeru is something else.
Genshin is an art that not many genshin fan truly deserve
Fontaine soundtrack, I’ve been waiting! Bangers as usual, even after Yu-Peng Chen left.
Well done to the composer and the entire team who produced this gem from within
00:16:31 - #08 Coruscating Street
FINALLY I HAVE A NAME FOR THE SONG
Been using this in my teapot ever since Fontaine
5:17 Gives me the chills and it’s amazing
what are chills? I have never experienced
When I first time heard Fontaine's BGM, it feels like such a new vibes and fresh air.
And also indirectly we can know that the story is getting deeper through the BGM vibes.
20:37 ... first ever jazz that i heard in this game... so relaxing, so freaking love jazz
This music studio really knows how to make incredible games! :0
4:40 Por mucho mi tema favorito, refleja muy bien la elegancia y los enigmas de Fontaine
Le magnifique 🍷
*elle est magnifique
@@Elleana972 je crois c’est le magnifique vin donc 🍷
16:37 as a pianist, the chords that are played are so jazzy I cant stop relistening it multiple times.
4 - 00:8:12 Ciudad de gloria meliflua
8 - 00:16:31 Calle chispeante
Genshin's music has always been good and I've always loved it, but this sound track and fontaine's music as a whole has been on another level and has for all intents and purposes swept me off my feet with how good it is, I could listen to all of this for hours upon hours on end without any sort of break from listening to it
“I will never forget you furina , no matter how good Natlan is you’re my number one ❤️🩹❤️🩹”
Frrr
I lowkey miss Fontaine
Who doesn’t 🥲
The best archon quest ever 💔❤️🩹
I’m finding Natlan a little underwhelming honestly. Fontaine was hard to beat
So dramatic, so romantic, so majestic, yet so sad to hear, Fontaine OSTs nail it
27:45 is my favorite track.
Fontaine OST is beautiful, I can't get tired of listening to it while playing the game.
This is the Final hour, Farewell Fontaine you will always be my favourite Nation. 😢🇫🇷
I how prevelantly the first song gives off a vibe of that we're wachting a fictional story like a musical
Dreams' Swirling Whispers is so beautiful.
I love the Fontaine music....
Hard to believe the legend himself Yu-Peng Chen isn't involved in this anymore. His legacy lives on with the hoyo-mix team!
57:53 contemporary testimony is like the where you watch furina memories. Without contexts, it might not feel like it, but with the context of the story it is so sad
Fontaine has the best music for me, most of it makes me sentimental and i really like lo-fi's and most of these musics are like one
dont mind me, here after the 4.2 archon quest as a SOBBING MESS a complete WRECK i am DEVASTATED
Yeah, me too... 🥺
Releasing 4.0 before announcing Yu-Peng Chen's departure was a really smart way to make sure people are confident in the new composers' skills. These all sound phenomenal.
after finishing the Archon quest, listening to this music makes me feel so much emotion 🥹
especially 4:40
Я выхода этого альбома ждала больше, чем весь регион. Музыка геншина как всегда на высоте и собрала в себе всё самое лучшее из мировой классической музыки
This is my favorite OST collection so far. Fontaine's music just hits all the right buttons for me. Thank you, HOYO-MiX!!!
HOYOMIX POPPED OFF WITH FONTAINE MUSIC it's my favorite region OST so far UGH I LOVE
ngl, after in Natlan for a week, I still think Fontaine is still the best region. Really beatiful and so elegant
I’m not vibing Natlan either honestly
I love Fontaine, this is 1 of the reasons why
As a dancer, this soundtrack is pleasing to my ears, especially the first one. I’m so hyped for snezhnaya!!!!
Heard 8:12 during the 4.0 Livestream and it has been a favorite ever since!!
I was studying in the library and got tired, so i took a nap with these calming and pleasant tunes playing in my earphones. That was a most sweet 15 mins nap hehe 💞
Now i go back to studying listening to this
This is what I love about Fontaine
the music
and now Fontaine became the start and the stop of my login/logout place (after Mondo)
whenever I finished my errand, always sit there enjoying the music and Fontaine City scene for a few minutes before logout from the game
So elegant and beautiful as the Fontaine itself :)
babe, wake up. fontaine soundtrack finally dropped
The Oratrice's Verdict - 00:49:44
Omg it's so good!!! 😭 Hands down my fav track from Fontaine so far.
This music is a pure masterpice. So elegant, dramatic, misterious and bittersweet. One of the best albums in your collection. Bravo!
Focalor execution BGM OST: 4:40
Enjoy 😢
Was waiting for the longest for this on Spotify!!! Now I’m going to look for the flute song!
Probably will Release in the encounters Album
Yes I just need to find Furina's entrance theme
Those two are also my favorite
Thank you so much, i was hoping for this video since 1 month ago
