this whole adventure with klee, diluc, kaeya, razor, albedo, jean and barbara was a fun experience, full of wonder and it felt like i was playing genshin for the first time again. i'm hoping for that moment to come back again, like as if i was a new player again, an AR 0, didn't know anything about artifacts, characters or anything. i was just having fun.

Years passed, the calm and relaxing vibe every track gives off still makes me cry of happiness. Exploring different islands, solving puzzles, doing events and stuff, you'd think it's tiring until you listen to the music, and you'll realize everything is worth the work. Everything about Golden Apple Archipelago is just best memories I'll always love to come back for.

3 years later, nearing my bachelor of science in medical laboratory science graduation, I still listen to this as I review for my upcoming exams while remembering the good times that I had experienced in the distant islands known as the Golden Apple Archipelago.
So its barely been more than a week since the islands have been gone and I already miss them. My heart swells listening to this music again. As far as story pacing for a video game goes, I think it was a great choice to put the Archipelago patch before Inazuma. It was like the Traveler wanted to have a fun vacation with their Mondstadt friends before leaving the mainland to go on with their journey. And it was great to put a light-hearted story before moving onto Inazuma's darker themes. I love this game so much
When I first heard this song in the game, I teared up a bit. It felt like I miss something for so long and it's like I've found it again after all this time. It's like long lost childhood memories. Also, this song goes hard for a cute and whimsical tune.

Let's be honest with each other here. This temporary map is way more awesome than any others. My heart misses a beat everytime I hear these OSTs. It makes me remind of some nostalgic feelings when I use my waverider and watch the sunset on the islands. Just feel like it was yesterday.
GAA is literally the best event in genshin every year. The current rerun is proving to be even better than the previous one. Make sure to enjoy while it last.
The event domains for the characters involved has some chests as well and are really well designed with good story telling. It has been a great experience!

It just so happened that the golden apple archipelago kind of aligned with our summer vacation's, and not gonna lie it feels quite saddening to realize that as GAA ends, our school vacation will not follow soon after :')
This hits so hard, definitely peak Genshin imo. I don't know what is it about it that I love so much, but it makes me feel so warm and at home. In these busy and lonely times it feels like a little nostalgic break that takes me back to when I was a child, so eager to the littlest adventures and have fun. Everything felt so free, my memories of those times are surrounded by a golden aura.....I guess that's what makes Mondstadt and the Golden Apple Archipelago so special to me. I can't wait for these islands to come back and create more amazing memories!

I've been down because I thought I didn't ace the interview. Just when they released this album, I played the playlist to soothe my heartbreak, and just then I got a call for 2nd interview! I feel so overjoy I blast the whole album while dancing stupidly around the room. This is going to be a memorable album for me

Yu-Peng Chen is such an amazing composer. easily on par with greats like Nobuo Uematsu and Yoko Shimomura when it comes to perfectly crafting melodies that many people will remember
There are lots of other relaxing bgm from genshin but I always end up coming back to this... The nostalgia hits harder than ever since I was there on GAA's first appearance. I remember first few days people are complaining the archipelago is tiny and has nothing until those "islands" were shown to be the literal tips of the actual map and the real archipelago rising from the sea. (ﾉﾟДﾟ)ﾉ
The first time I was sad about the people from the islands, while they starting submerging. I felt out of time all the time, until Alice's voice calmed down the pace. Then it became a paradise, often to drop the controller and stare in awe while the melodies transported me there. The second time I took my time enjoying the islands, and the last day had completed half Mona's place, and had to stay awake, but then, reaching the last stars, having barely a few minutes the night became rain, as I climbed the invisible ladder it all felt surreal, as I almost could feel the light rain falling and tickling, the islands were saying good bye.

@@theguest103 there are actually two versions of this leitmotif, one is the actual genshin theme itself where the phrases are shorter and is in compound time (counted in 3s) and one is the venti theme in simple time (counted in 2s or 4s) Edit: actually there's a third version where the phrase is long like venti's version, but counted in compound time. It's the one that plays during diluc's part in the Travails video and it also plays during that venti story animation (right after the part when the war has ended). There's another instance where they used this particular version which I cant remember, but because it was used mostly when talking about the old mondstadt, I personally call it the old mondstadt theme

3 years later, nearing my bachelor of science in medical laboratory science graduation, I still listen to this as I review for my upcoming exams while remembering the good times that I had experienced in the distant islands known as the Golden Apple Archipelago.
So its barely been more than a week since the islands have been gone and I already miss them. My heart swells listening to this music again. As far as story pacing for a video game goes, I think it was a great choice to put the Archipelago patch before Inazuma. It was like the Traveler wanted to have a fun vacation with their Mondstadt friends before leaving the mainland to go on with their journey. And it was great to put a light-hearted story before moving onto Inazuma's darker themes. I love this game so much
This is basically the best event that ever made by mihoyo they gave us a whole map

When I first heard this song in the game, I teared up a bit. It felt like I miss something for so long and it's like I've found it again after all this time. It's like long lost childhood memories.

While it may appear empty at first, The Mirage Islands at least has some decent number of chests. 😉
The event domains for the characters involved has some chests as well and are really well designed with good story telling. It has been a great experience!
@@ruaaazumi5166 it really is! I'm not exagerrating when i say i teared up a bit when the guitar starts playing, and having a beautiful and relaxing scenery up ahead made it so much more better.
It just so happened that the golden apple archipelago kind of aligned with our summer vacation's, and not gonna lie it feels quite saddening to realize that as GAA ends, our school vacation will not follow soon after :')

This hits so hard, definitely peak Genshin imo. I don't know what is it about it that I love so much, but it makes me feel so warm and at home. In these busy and lonely times it feels like a little nostalgic break that takes me back to when I was a child, so eager to the littlest adventures and have fun. Everything felt so free, my memories of those times are surrounded by a golden aura.....I guess that's what makes Mondstadt and the Golden Apple Archipelago so special to me. I can't wait for these islands to come back and create more amazing memories!

Why does this induce a bittersweet sadness? Yu peng chen is a Master Misician and I think the Archipelego created by the developers did not fail in giving us that adventurous feeling full of wonder. God the music is beautiful.
I've been down because I thought I didn't ace the interview. Just when they released this album, I played the playlist to soothe my heartbreak, and just then I got a call for 2nd interview! I feel so overjoy I blast the whole album while dancing stupidly around the room. This is going to be a memorable album for me

Conflicted OG player here: the selfish one in me wants this memory all to myself. But with rumors that Update 2.8 will see the Archipelago return for another episode of Summer adventures, I hope new players can experience what we old farts loved so much about this place: forget the real world for a moment, take in an impossibly heavenly experience.

It's such a beautiful event and while I would love to have it stay as permanent place,unfortunately it has to go and I think that's just how it is.

There are lots of other relaxing bgm from genshin but I always end up coming back to this... The nostalgia hits harder than ever since I was there on GAA's first appearance.
I remember first few days people are complaining the archipelago is tiny and has nothing until those "islands" were shown to be the literal tips of the actual map and the real archipelago rising from the sea. (ﾉﾟДﾟ)ﾉ
Now that the isles are long gone, this is hitting very hard, i love this ost.
when 'ariel's footprints' and 'melody of jellyfish' was playing during my exploration there I remember myself vibing so hard

The first time I was sad about the people from the islands, while they starting submerging. I felt out of time all the time, until Alice's voice calmed down the pace. Then it became a paradise, often to drop the controller and stare in awe while the melodies transported me there.
The second time I took my time enjoying the islands, and the last day had completed half Mona's place, and had to stay awake, but then, reaching the last stars, having barely a few minutes the night became rain, as I climbed the invisible ladder it all felt surreal, as I almost could feel the light rain falling and tickling, the islands were saying good bye.

@@theguest103 there are actually two versions of this leitmotif, one is the actual genshin theme itself where the phrases are shorter and is in compound time (counted in 3s) and one is the venti theme in simple time (counted in 2s or 4s)
Edit: actually there's a third version where the phrase is long like venti's version, but counted in compound time. It's the one that plays during diluc's part in the Travails video and it also plays during that venti story animation (right after the part when the war has ended). There's another instance where they used this particular version which I cant remember, but because it was used mostly when talking about the old mondstadt, I personally call it the old mondstadt theme
Let's never forget the memories... The experience to explore something new, the newly added boat mechanics, aiding Klee on her journey to defeat the Dodo King, and relaxing to the ost while doing the events.
