Youre inspiring me to get my 89 in shape for Spring, some auto-x and maybe a HPDE before the year is over. Mine is the typical 2 elderly owner low miles car so im expecting some maintenance items to let go from more "active" use. Im still blown away by how cheap the car was for its condition and what i got for the money. Ill be releasing some new videos soon about it over on my channel soon. Keep publishing videos: you're inspiring me to get to work on it!
@@Thingswithwheels1 love to hear it! Definitely get it out and stretch its legs! If you go on rock auto they have the track day pads/rotors as a kit I recently put on my car and love it so far. Yeah the price point is too appealing although I did pay 10.5 for mine and now maybe 15 into it total still great performance! I’m going to publish a video of the race car I’m building now for some track use soon
@morecars324 i paid $5500 for my 89 from its second 80 year old owner. Low option non Z51 auto trans but only 65k miles and the body is in good shape. Looking to refurb bushings, new shocks, brakes pads, fluids and hard linesntune it up and go to some RT615Ks. Should be able to get there under $10k all in.
Hey from the South Carolina Coast. Nice ! I have a mint 1996 LT1 and a mint 1964 StingRay. Don't think the 64 would have been able to take those turns that fast 😂😂
nice. my 89 z51 non fx3 is almost ready to try the track. right now im rocking the 91 zr-1 and look forward to trying the z51 on the same track to note the differences. that one cresting left hand turn looks fun. multiple quick hand recoveries nice work. i enjoy your c4 vids, keep em rolling
Awesome man, look forward to seeing your z51 on track as well. Im also very curious to see the difference! Yeah i was wheeling the car around a bit i think the tires are on the way out too many heat cycles but that makes it fun haha
Fire
very nice the C4 seems to love the track

@ nice!, definitely all possible, if you come across a Dana 44 from a stick car it will improve performance a bit too with a lot better gear ratio

Nice! I like it most at Canaan speedway in New Hampshire the short track is definitely well suited to the tpi cars
