Are you a paid Local's guide now? It's always good to start your own business. It's a service that many tourists need. You speak good English. That's a valuable skill.
Nahhh but I can recommend a local guide. I film what I experience and then tell the stories I find interesting and helpful for free. If a subscriber such as the one in the donations video would like to experience Lao like I do and join me on the road for food, adventures, and giving back then I've got plenty of ideas. Only interested in creating one of a kind experiences we both won't forget, which means I probably don't even know exactly how things will pan out, but I'll lead the way and we'll figure it out. As I grow the channel I will do meetups/tours here in Luang Prabang though. Walking, biking, community service...all most likely involving food as well and not for money but to introduce local spots and support the locals. :)
Another great Video Barry 😃 I like the videos that educate with fact content like this. The Lower 3rd text information goes along way. Take care brother 💪
we ride the train 🚂 last year in September. train station inside are so beautiful and clean. so many people’s. train ride so smooth and fast. and beautiful view. love 💕 it. can’t wait to go back to Laos 🇱🇦 again soon..
Took it last year from Vientiane to Kunming. A bit of a hassle paying for the tickets but otherwise very similar to China trains (not as fast as the bullet trains but comfortable, clean and safe). Knives are forbidden on Chinese trains, in part because of the terrorist attack at the train station in Kunming in 2014.
correct me if im wrong but i always thought sai gok as the generic lao sausage vs sai oua is like the braut worst. more herby. honestly i think lao people abroad need to come to a census on this because i see the two get intermingled a lot. since you live in Laos you may have more of a insight...
Not sure how the west calls things, but can comment on what I've observed out here. In Thailand everything is called sai gok, except for the Northern Sausage called sai ua and in Lao it's referred to as sai gok if it's the traditional Lao Issan style sausage and the rest are called sai ua, which are of course the more herby Lao style. Could do a whole video on sausages there's so many, but would need some help finishing the dog, horse, and elephant sausage... hahaha
Hey, I wanted to ask you how are you able to stay in Laos with only a visa? Do you put money into Laos thats the only reason I could see you staying there or living there.
Not sure exactly what the question is exactly. Yes, a visa with a stay permit is what is required to stay in Laos, which is a very straight forward simple process. Seems like you are asking for the reasons I choose to live in Laos, though?
Lao :) The stewardesses speak Lao and Chinese as do most of the staff working with the Lao China Railway. English is spoken well by some of the staff also. It's overall a very nice service.
