Beautiful Walk brother,I like nature, thanks for sharing, New friend here stay connected God bless you
Looked a tad bit hot and humid by your standards! Not carrying water - that's what got me in trouble in my last video! Spectacular views from your vantage point and definitely a beautiful evening! The photos got better and better as the sun started to go down, ending with the lone tree at 15:16! Beautifully filmed Andrew, really enjoyed it!
Thanks Paul. Fortunately it got a bit chilly as the sun went down so there was no chance of over heating and the midge attack didn't materialise. The clarity and light was too good for the sunset colours which only appeared at dusk.
⚜️ One day i will buy this gem.
"You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to." Nice photos. Lived that Shire look in the video clips.
Looks like a long walk. Maybe you should camp overnight? Thanks for the video and the work that went into it. Maybe you could save a trip by showing how you blend multiple exposures or compare things with and without certain filters? Best wishes!
Thanks John for the suggestion ☺ It wasn't that far. But it was warm and I was tired at the start. I'm not so enthusiastic about doing studio based videos. An my viewers would see me use my old version of Photoshop (PS 3) and me cheating with Luminar Ai. I usually only use a polarizer and then for haze and shine. Thanks again 😀
Hi John
I just saw your video , and i really like the images you have taken,
and the landscape there , in the Lake District, is amazing !
You are so lucky , with all those kind off beautyfull landscapes,
over there in Great Britain ! I just decided to follow your channel ,
in the future .
Greatings from northern Germany
Heiko
Thanks Heiko. You right I am very lucky 😊
No wonder youre knackered......carrying that Benbo about.....they weigh a bloody ton!!
It sure does Andy. If you know of any tripod company who wants to give me a free carbon fibre, then let me know 🤣
That's a rookie move pre- hydrate lol. Wild food looks better than a bush coconut haha. Mate those views are worth that heat and humidity. First image with the lone tree and light was really nice but that last image was spot on mate.
Hi Andrew.
Great video and love the photos.
Glad I found you and new sub 👍
Thanks Phil. Welcome aboard 😊
You certainly did work hard for those photos Andrew. Good results though👍I like the last one of the tree with the mountains in the distance and the warm skies.
Thanks David. I wasn't sure that I would get those warm skies. You never know what's going to happen.
How come Defender turned into a Fiesta?
Looking at a 5D Mark II - A setup from my C850D ... And access to full frame Hmmmmmm
5D 2 good in good light. But if I was starting again, I'd buy good L lenses and work around camera body limitations 📸😁
I've been really enjoying your videos, very calm and relaxing with some great photography and advice too! I've taken a notion to pick up a Canon 5D II, it was the holy grail camera back when I was more seriously getting into photography. Even though I have nicer cameras now, I kind of want to scratch that itch, and to have an SLR back in the collection.
Scratch that itch 😁 The 5D II is so cheap now. Enjoy that warm tone feeling.
02:26 Serengeti !
It seemed as hot as the Serengeti. No Lions thank God! 😂
@@andrewfindlayphoto 😀. Thanks for all you are sharing with us...
I’m surprised I saw no lakes in the Lake District. Funny name, that is.
The mountains got in the way of the view of the lakes.
@@andrewfindlayphoto ha! I knew there had to be a good reason. Thank you for clarifying! I figured it was like Florida where we have to mountains but plenty of communities with mountain in the name. Great video by the way! I have a 5dm2 that I use along with my R6m2.
Thank you
Great Video - thank you
Thanks Bernard 😁
Andrew !!! not John . Sorry Andrew
