A little bit repetitive 😄but I don't care sometimes we need to repeat. Had so much fun listening to you. No "guru talk". Just plain and simple. Was just gifted a sed 5D Mk II. Appreciated the info
Why explain about 5 times how to get the card out? (In my opinion, one who buys such a pro camera, surely knows how to charge the batteries, open the battery compartement and read a flash card...)
Great video! I needed this and I appreciate how you started from the very basics. this is my first camera so I had no idea what I was doing at all. Thanks for sharing ☺️
This is such an incredible resource. Thanks for doing this for complete noobs like me (and repeating things a bunch of times). I feel like I went from, staying at a Holiday Inn last night, level to knowing enough to speak conversational 5D2 in under an hour. Thanks Tom!
I just bought that camera used yesterday. I have been using a M50 mirrorless however, I wanted to learn to use a full framed camera also. I loved your video and just subscribed. Thank You!
I love my 5D MK2. Used the same camera house for years when I was shooting for a lical studio. I had to go out and get one after I had to give up photo as a job. But I bougth one for myself. I now have a 5D MK2, a 6D, a 70D and one from the first series of the EOS-M. I LOVE cameras that are sort of "first of their kind". :)
Tom, thanks for your Canon 5D Mark II videos. I'm a Panasonic Lumix user with a G9, but I always have a backup camera. I found I wasn't using my old Lumix GH1 and I had two Canon EF lenses including the Nifty 50, so I traded it to mpb and got a Mark II in good condition for $217! Amazing. Your videos walked me right through the basics. Glad to see you're closing in on 50K subscribers.
I bought a Canon 5D mark II 2 years ago and it takes great photos. Although the maximum technically acceptable sensitivity is 1600, it is enough for me. You can add a modification to the magic lantern software, but the classic one is enough for me. Thank you for a great guide. Greetings from Poland
Dude. You showed us how to load and unload the CF card like 1,500 times.

Do it this way because that's how I do it and its the best way ! How about a tutorial that is knowledge based and not an opinion.
Very nice tutorial. Went old school 😂. Old cameras have nicer colours compared to new ones.

It's not wise to insert the recharged battery immediately after completion of recharge while it's still hot. Better to wait a while to cool it down.
Great camera. I bought myself one too. Now I dream of a good lens. Thanks for the video, and greetings from Ukraine!
I have one and the 5D Mark IV and I still like going back to this one on occasion.
