The story of how I got Jarvis in ASL

I am only in ASL 1, so I am not fluent, and I still make a lot of mistakes because I am a beginner, but if you know ASL and you noticed I messed something up, please feel free to correct me in the comments. This is a very brief and condensed story about how I got my bearded dragon, Jarvis. My whole life, I have always wanted a lizard since I was young. I went to my parents and begged them for a lizard, but my mom and dad always said no. My dad did not like lizards, so my parents said no for years. But one day my parents came to me and said if you have a UA-cam channel for 1 month, they would give me a lizard. So I worked really hard, and after one month, my parents gave me a lizard. I was so excited because, for my whole life, I wanted a lizard, and now I finally have one. PS: This is not an exact translation; this is just to give hearing people who do not know ASL an idea of what I am saying in ASL.
