I created some drum midis in FL Studio with my Roland kit using a VST from Goran Grooves. Now my son wants to use those midis to trigger sounds from FPC instead of the original samples in my VST. The trouble is, FPC doesn't have a hihat edge pad, just closed hihat, and the ride cymbal behaviour is different...my VST adds bell to the same piano roll line via velocity, FPC needs bell assigned to a separate pad. Added to that, open hihat and cross stick don't match lines with either VST, so a lot of copy/ paste/ moving will be required. So...question: Can FPC be remapped so that its piano roll lines match the same drum/ cymbal assignment as Handy Drums from Goran Grooves, so I don't have to replay all ten songs again/ get involved in some serious repositioning of midi notes?
I feel that FPC is very limiting if you don't know how to use the skills I showed in this video. And I feel people wouldn't use it if they didn't know about this routing technique. So I feel it's very helpful and could open the possibilities of using FPC to a lot of people
These were tips that I feel people don’t talk about when using the FPC, like HOW TO MIX IN THE PLUG-IN… kind of important. I’m sorry if you misunderstood, but I really don’t know what you were expecting. Please keep your criticism, constructive and not toxic
@@SimulationBeats how to set up your FPC pads to align with your midi controller, that would have been a great tip that I cant find a single video about
I don't' understand some of the hate in the comments, this video helped me out tremendously! thank you so much

Yes, you can re-asign the note on any of the drumpads, it's right next to where you select the output, where it says 'Midi note'.
@FrankMaurits69 thanks! I'll give it a try 🙂
Iv got mpc and I want to connect to to the fpc
nice logic hoodie
Thank you! Got it when he first retired 😊
Has deep house included fpc ?
🔥🔥🔥🙌🏾
Appreciate you!
It's not an FPC tutorial, It's more like a boom bap drum mixing 😢

Is this video about how to use fpc or you showing us your project and how to mix, you lost me bud after 2 minutes of wasted nonsense

Thank you for some info I can use. I can definitely try and make a video about that in the future, now that I know someone is having that problem
Bro don't listen to the hate. The mixing was crazy, and I didn't even know you could mix in plug - that's crazy. Thank you man@@SimulationBeats
