A ww2 tank animation inspired by the movie Fury and online game World of Tanks. This Brick film follows the story of a British tank convoy led by Captain Harrison and his fearless crew of the Mighty Churchill Battle Tank "JACKAL" making their way through Germany months before the end of the war. But now they must fight for their lives as they come across one of Germany's most feared killing machines which has risen from the ashes of war torn Europe, the DREADED TIGER!!!

cool - we just watched the fury trailer a minute ago; Our thought was "get inside the tank dude it's WWII out there!"
To those complaining about the tanks, you have to start out using what you have, and over time get the $$ to buy the specific tanks and guys you want to make the props better, but nobody could start out and gain experience if they waited to get all the parts and sets they wanted before making any animations.

It was beautiful. It's expensive to buy lego WW2, especially vehicles. I only have two jeeps, a tank, but plenty of infantry. Personally, I prefer to buy infantry because they can make many and interesting stories and they are cheaper, but nevertheless, bravo and good work!
Tom Hansen By the way, I am going to make a lego world war 2 film after the holidays. I'm sure after christmas rolls by, I'll have enough material and money to finish making my Wehrmacht and American platoons. I have plenty of ideas coursing through my head as to what to do, I can't wait to make it!

Ah yes, "inspired by Fury and World of Tanks."
I can already predict that this will be a very historical film with no plot armour.
The accuracy of both sides was appauling, I guess they must have been blindfolded.
I feel sorry for the crew in that light tank...
1) the tiger can one shot them
2) their commander just got blown back to Blighty
3) they cannot penetrate the tiger

Jackal : Churchill IV-VII's and M3 Stuart .
The Churchills' were heavy British tanks whereas the American M4 variants use the first M4 haul for various modification
Haha, I liked the way the commander of the other Churchill was completely chilled about being on fire and didn't even try to get out. Still a great video though.
1. The captain would probably be in the hatch when things get hairy
2. Fury, in my opinion, wasn't a good movie. I really hated the cliches and stereotypes in it.

I agree I like how the American tank fired at the exhaust of the tiger and how a tigers turret swivels a lot slower than in actual war time footage and the actual aiming drives move at
Otherwise they did a "great" job
I also like the Tigers crew, German tank crews were selected to drive tigers because they were the best of the best not because they aimed at a TANK and missed most shots

i see this vid is fury inspirated the germans are hitting almost no shoot and the tiger got flanked by FUCKING CHURCHILLS!!! (churchills are slow as hell) i think the tiger would not have big problems taking out this 3 tanks. but the animation was good

Because American tanks without support of something like a hellcat or a t25/2 are inferior to German tanks, the only way they would defeat tigers is if they ran back into cover and called in an air strike on the Tiger tank. The only other way would be if they had large numbers like 10 against 1. Russians had it easier though because tanks like the IS or the SU-122 could easily take care of a tiger tank. In games like WOT and movies like Fury the Tiger tanks are actually weak compared to what they were in real life.

+TheApollo1232 That is a Churchill III and it's a Stuart *LIGHT* tank. Plus, USA did make the Stuart but the Brits used it before them.

The Churchill had 89mm of frontal armour (only in the beginning of the Europe capaign. later 152mm) and the tigers 88 had capabillity of ripping trough 116mm of Armour at 2000m and the fragmentation of the shot would rip all of the crew in pieces.

Charging Churchills lol.Tigers cant pen them from that range unlike in Fury where it could easily pen a Sherman in far distance
ummm, Ok lets get deep in info. it depends which Churchill model it is but the Tiger 1 can penetrate the 152mm thick frontal armour on the late war Churchill at 500m with a Pzgr39(APCBC Armour piercing Capped ballistic Capped shell) and at 1500m with the PzGr 40 (APCR Armour Piercing Composite Rigid shell) and in the video the tanks aren't far away from each other so the tiger would hit every one of them.
And why the fuck was there M3 Stuarts too? American and British tank battalions never mixed....

There was actually Tiger tank in africa in WW2 but at the time it was a secret weapon. It was bombarded by Churchills but they could never penetrate it. Eventually a luck shot landed right between the turret and hull stopping it from turning its turret. It was then captured

This is a good video, but this would have never happened in real life.
1) That Tiger 1s accuracy is amazing, it would have shot those Churchills easily and would have done a lot of damage. the Germans were very smart.
2) Those Churchills wouldn't be able to reload that fast.

And also whoever the commander of the tiger is you are very not smart. Its basic knowledge to kill the tanks that mean a threat to you, go for the churchill's, Stuart's will do nothing to you.
How could the Stuart fire when the commander is dead? Pretty sure the Stuart's gunner or loader was the commander. But apart from that, AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great builds, very accurate, I could tell what the tanks were (minus the light, not very familiar with light tanks) immediately and the tactics were also correct. Only thing off was that tanks don't have steering wheels, they have levers that individually controlled each side's tracks.
GearandaltheFirst Yeah, the pervious set design for the tank interior (Which had levers) was destroyed by accident, so I quickly whipped something up, anyway, thank you for your comment and support, I really appreciate positive feed back :)
Actually some do have steering wheels , some have yolks similar to "upside down bike handlebars "
The commanders of these tanks can move in the tanks... So this 2:21 never can happen. But it's good MiniMovie good job!
You get a A- for lego performance. Of course, this aint regular tactics. Combined arms is the way to go. Normally infantry, MG nests, artillery and some anti-tankguns. Pure tank battles were very rare and more incidents and accidential then intended or planned.

Really two Churchill tanks and one Sherman
The title said part of this was inspired by the fury movie, but there are no tanks representing a Sherman in this video. Little historical accuracy, but great hard work on this video!
Tanks in the video represent a Churchill 7, and a m3 or m5 light tank.the tiger has little representation of one.
That's more likely to be a IV, the VII didn't see service until Normandy.
I would've thought the two Churchill VII's should have taken that Tiger tank easily enough
Not even. Tiger I has a 8,8 cm KwK canon which should be able to one hit every churchhill tank. You ask why? The normal Panzergranate 40/41, which got fired from this canon, weights about 10,6 kilos and has a muzzle velocity of around 1050 meters/second. This means, the projectily has a lot of energy, which makes it easy to penetate trough the rather light armory of all the churchill tanks. According to the sources about churchill VII, which I read a couple of minutes ago, the british tank would only be able to penetrate on a distance of 360 meters or less, which should give the Tiger enough time to shoot down both of the tanks. That the stuart can't penetrate should be clear ;)

Bene Hartung However, you know the story Behind Tiger 131, same thing happened except those were the early versions of the Churchill (Mk I CS and 1 Mk II I believe) and these are the mk IV's making it possible
