Thank you babe...as an old man...I can see LUV come out of a heart...you just did!! if I could swoun a woman like that...I would be the king of the world
... You weren't ready to react to this were you!! Your face exuded shock and satisfaction 👌👌 Loved this reaction and the song. Looking forward to seeing more of your reactions!!
My dear young girl, this is not Micheal Bolton's song. It belongs to the late great, immortal Percy Sledge. Micheal Bolton is one of many to cover this song, This cover is on another level, I see Percy Sledge smiling down from heaven. And if you notice he is sitting down in this performance.
As I understand it, Home Free has many (all) members test out the lead and then decided who fits the song the best. For me, that is the joy of Home Free, they really focus on the song over the singer and bring an amazing sound to life.
That's true though I heard that this one was different. Apparently Tim Faust has been pestering and badgering Austin to do this song for years but for some reason Austin wouldn't do it. That's what I heard anyway.
@@stephanginther9051 Austin felt he wouldn't be able to do the song justice. The success of his own solo career seems to have given him new confidence and there has been a great change in his voice for the better. There's also the Amberly factor - Austin and his gf are so totally in love that I think he felt that he knew how to handle it. The sorry mess of his love life for several years previously would tend to put anyone off singing about love!
Austin crushed this with his beautiful sky high tenor. The gorgeous harmonies supporting all throughout, and Adam Rupp's beat boxing/vocal percussion was fabulous. They now own this song. Yes. They can take your breath away. Home Frees' music has brought me to tears many times. I totally understand. I have laugh/cried from the joy of their music. There is no ego in Home Free. They all record the leads and solos except for Adam Rupp) and then decide what is going to work the best to make the best music they can produce.
Not only is it the way that Austin sings this but it's also the way he looks into the camera. It's like he's looking at you! Makes me feel like a twenty year old again!
I don't usually subscribe to people who do reaction videos but for you I'll make an exception. You're the second one on my list. An honest reaction to a beautiful Percy Sledge classic, redone by Michael Bolton then this version which in my opinion is the best by far the best.
I had to go to the doctors appointment a couple weeks ago. I told him at the end of appointment about Home Free's version of this song and so I playedhi. Part then fast forward a little to Austin's high note at the end he heard too. Now we've got a new home fry
How does Austin look so relaxed when he's belting out this song? Well, that's just Austin...beautiful voice, very nice looking, and he smiles with emotion. Thank you for reacting to Home Free. Just subscribed.
So CUTE! I just loved watching you go all jello! This is a song that just brings out the fan-girl in every woman, and intelligent discerning man too. I’m watching again
Hi Molly, I'm a new subscriber so happy I found you! Hopefully is definitely pure joy! And they're funny if you've never seen Hillbilly Bone you must that shows their real selves it was actually filmed I believe on Tim's property and those are his animals and I love the fact they always put their friends and family in them. Oh and the butts remix is hilarious! They love each other so much and work hand in hand. If you ever have a chance to see them live do it I've seen them at the Florida strawberry festival and watch many videos I've been at home Fry for years and years. My sister-in-law that was battling cancer loved them and we would lay in bed together and watch the videos and laugh and cry together they got us both through it! May God bless you with your disability and illness! Thoughts and prayers are with you! And yes Home Free they are ridiculous and they do not do a cover unless they can blow it out of the park which is you well know they do every time!
Home Free is exquisite and they are very intentional about reaching the soul of the listener and viewer of their performances whether video or live in person, They have a nack of identifying with their audience with that which ties to our personal lives. It happens the first time everytime someone new has the chance to be a first time contact with their performances. They are that dedicated. I really don't listen much to anyone else anymore because they have such a diverse genre of music they can perform which reaches to all of the music spectrum that I personally enjoy. They are not a one trick pony, they surprise us with every delivery they extend our way. Go Home Free, carry on..........
You are who this music is made for, the average music lover. I have a feeling that your stomach was doing flips, especially when Austin gave those sultry looks into the camera. Glad you enjoyed it.
I've been hopping around on UA-cam checking out this group performing this song to see what reactors felt about it. And I've come across a few ladies totally enraptured with it. There was even one reactor doing the reaction with his retired parents listening in, and his mama was floored. She likely grew up listening to the original, and I know her husband was going to get 'lucky' later that night. And I can see you were affected similarly. I should also mention, also in line with the deep emotionality of this performance, that two reactors I came across, macho black men in their late 20s or early 30s whose woman had just left them, were literally left in tears. They struggled to get through the song, because it reached into the very heart of their recent experience in love. So this song and this performance is full of true experience. Yeah, with Austin's first syllable, the power in this is established and unrelenting. The backup is perfect, providing places of strength for each lyric launch. And you were fun to watch trying to take in and digest the power of it. I have to wonder how much you blushed while listening to this, because you KNEW your reaction was authentic, honest, and unhidden. And thank you for your courage in doing so. You could have broken up the barrage with pauses, but you went straight through. Kudos, girl. So enjoyed this. So loved living this vicariously through you. Keep it up!
Yes! Yes! Yes! ---- Exactly ..... and then some. I do remember when Bolton came out with his version... and oh my!!! But this -- THIS tops all and honestly don't know that it could ever be performed better. Yeah -- could see in the (your) expression, the emotion --- mixed but in a good way! HF has that uncanny ability to bring "it" out. Truly enjoyed that 100%. Be Safe
Hello Molly Bee. I'm very hopeful that you've reached a awareness of just how powerful Love is in our lives. After your stupendous reaction to this version of this song, I'm blown away because I believe you just grew measurably in your awareness of just how powerful Music also is in our lives. Thanks so much for this reaction, & hopefully many more to come.
I have watched your reaction to this performance several times. There is something very alluring about how you become so mesmerized to Austin Browns voice. Thank you.
Molly , don't feel bad girl! It happens to most all of us lady fries! We understand completely! Yes, they own every soong they perform! Original and covers. I prefer them over every original. None better! My favorite group ever of all time! Home Free are phenomenal!
Austin has a very powerful voice. All of them can lead in this group and do it well, their harmonies are great, and their beatboxer is great. Home Free does make you feel good to listen to them.
If you haven't done so yet, you might want to check out Misty Mountains that Tim Foust, the bassist, did with Peter Hollins. Then maybe Mayday from Home Free. If you watch them in that order you'll be blown away.
I've seen quite a few reactions of yours, along with many other reactors ... I have to say that your reaction made me watch yours a couple of times... not only for the great performance, which it is, rather, to selfishly enjoy your imparted emotions. Know that connections made through great music is a very personal experience and yours to this song by Austin was certainly worth a few watches. The ecstatic joy you were feeling was fully transmitted through your most honest way, which gives others a small look into your true personality. Thank you for allowing us voyeurs to join in, along with your enthusiasm. I wish you much wellness and may God Bless!
Perfect reaction Molly! Yeah no ego's in Home Free they been together so long that they know everyone and I mean every member has something to offer! In Honor of our Memorial Day could you do a very special cover by Home Free? Home Free - Go Rest High On That Mountain (Official Music Video) - Vince Gill
Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.
This is my absolute favorite singing performance of theirs. Austin just SLAYS this!! This is emotional, powerful, and reaches the soul. This song always makes me feel better every time I hear it!!
What a spectacular heartfelt reaction Molly. HF has done a lot of amazing romantic songs recently that you should also react too; Bless The Broken Road, Amazed, One Man Band, Make You Feel My Love, and a couple older videos of Die A Happy Man and Cover Me Up which are just terrific also. Knowing how joyous you felt with this, most HF performances provide that warm, peaceful, and joyous feeling when you listen to them.
I agree I think you have fell into the Home Free rabbit hole. And I think that you enjoy a live performance video of Home Free and Texas Hill live at the Ryman theater and welcome to the Home fry family great reaction and I just subscribed for more Home Free.
That is the way with Home Free and any of their songs you forget completely that they're an acapella group and there are no instruments. That is how good they are you can't go wrong with any of their songs they don't do covers they do upgrades and there is no egos they just want to make the best music
I remember the original by Percy Sledge in 1966. Ladies at the time had much the same reaction to the song as you did now :-) Austin has a once in a generation tenor voice--I've never been disappointed hearing him sing. Thanks for the reaction. The original is also worth a listen. I like to compare covers to the original artist's version. For instance Dimash covered Adagio, originally sung by Lara Fabian, and listening to Lara's 1999 version showed me why Dimash thinks of her as one of his idols.
This song has a very primal connection with most women. Without them even realizing it, it strikes a cord deep within their psyche and stirs their soul. Some would say it fuels their desire and kickstarts the libido in some women. I can see that. All from something as simple as music. I'll join those suggesting you listen to Percy Sledge. More importantly I have spent many hours on music history, harmonic theory and playing scales but all that actually matters is that music moves us to tears or laughter or contemplation. Sometimes alone but wonderfully sometimes emotionally connected. Thank You for your shared love of music!
Oh yes Home Free are so awesome I found them last year shortly after I found PTX and dam I thought where the f have I been so I'm definitely late to the party but now I listen to both groups daily the best reactions tho are from the people that don't know who they are and when they find out there acapella The look on their faces are absolutely priceless
This is a covid lockdown video which is why the guys were on monitors but also Austin had his girlfriend there and was singing it to her which is why the emotion is so intense as he did truly mean it.
This is an awesome rendition of this song. Austin and Home Free give it more than justice! Love your reaction. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole! Check out their cover of End of The Road by Boyz II Men it is awesome. They have so many songs - Man of Constant Sorrow, Elvira with the Oakridge Boys, How Great Thou Art. Countless Christmas songs and silly songs such as Make You Feel My Love, Never Going to Give You Up, Hillbilly Bone and so many more. Love you reaction!
Not bad for a nearly 60 yr old song. It was fun watching you melt!!!
We just witnessed a woman falling in love in 6 minutes and 6 seconds!?🥰🔥
That stunned face right when Austin kicks in is priceless.......great video
Thank you babe...as an old man...I can see LUV come out of a heart...you just did!! if I could swoun a woman like that...I would be the king of the world
Percy Sledge put this song out I think in the 60's, he did a great job too.
How you reacted says it all!!!!!!!! Loved your real candid, who you are type of woman, let it all hang out!!!!
This song makes babies. Alone.
Molly, it's called an eargasm!!
Some serious fangirling going on right here 😂
When Home free sings this song it is never long enough.
One thing that I really respect about Home Free is their support of each other. It's a wonderful thing.
I think you just fell into the Home Free rabbit hole and welcome aboard. They don't have a song you won't like love your reaction. You are the best.
... You weren't ready to react to this were you!! Your face exuded shock and satisfaction 👌👌 Loved this reaction and the song. Looking forward to seeing more of your reactions!!
That song is a ball as great as it get.
The expression on your face, when he initially started singing, would absolutely qualify as a Kodak moment. Yes, I'm old...Lmao.
Try Their "Man Of Constant Sorrow" for each of their abilities to com out better......
This is so TRUE , I've even said this to my kids.

Well said. They truly are an ensemble. No detectable egos or overshadowing one over another. Love these guys.

Percy Sledge first recorded this song in 1966 from a studio in Alabama.........It was VERY famous song back then as well!!!
when you have a2 sopranos, 5 altos, 5 tenors, 2 basses, and a couple beat boxers, the wealth of talent is off the charts!!
Not ridiculous!! We all know the only thing better than hearing Austin sing is getting to WATCH Austin sing! He just radiates Joy!
Another masterpiece from HF!! Home Free and Home Fry forever!! Ty for your reaction!
one of the best reactions to this video imo this is why i watch the reaction video's :D

Percy Sledge made it a hit way back in 1966.

I have loved this acapella group since the first time I heard them. I would give anything to be able to attend one of their concerts.
Yes, this performance just rocked you and it's great to see such surprise!
The Butts Remix, All About That Bass, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget are great, hilarious songs.
Yep, Austin did it again... I now pronounce y'all husband and wife. 🤣

This song has a very primal connection with most women. Without them even realizing it, it strikes a cord deep within their psyche and stirs their soul. Some would say it fuels their desire and kickstarts the libido in some women. I can see that. All from something as simple as music. It amazes me how music can have the power to touch people in such a way. It absolutely does though.
The original song was sung by Percy Sledge. Find it and you will appreciate the difference.
I'll join those suggesting you listen to Percy Sledge. More importantly I have spent many hours on music history, harmonic theory and playing scales but all that actually matters is that music moves us to tears or laughter or contemplation. Percy Sledge was the original artist to this song. It came out in the early 70's.. 1972 I think
I wonder what they would sound like if the did a colab. with PTX would be interesting
