The original was by the late, great Percy Sledge. This was done during the Covid lockdowns. Austin's (now) wife was in the studio and that's who he's looking at. BTW - the song's writer had been through a bad break-up Percy sings "I gave you everything I had". Austin sings "I'll give you everything I've got". A subtle but significant change.

You have just experienced one of the best tenors out there, Austin Brown. He is amazing! He has his own channel where he sings with accompaniment. There are some fantastic songs on there, but I would highly recommend Unchained Melody, which has almost 14 million views, and Bring Him Home from Les Miz.
Yes, his name is Austin Brown and he was singing in a studio, with his gaze on his beautiful lady Amberly standing by the camera. This being done during the quarantine, the other were most likely filming in a studio corner of their respective homes in Nashville, Minneapolis, and L.A. If you haven't done any of them yet I suggest Brother by Home Free, and Take the Night Off by Austin Brown to see the lovely lady that inspires him so. He and Amberly also have a non-musical YT channel called The Beauty and the Bass.
Home Free is as good as it gets. For more mind bending performances, listen to Man Of Constant Sorrow, Mayday and their legendary Butts Medley Remix. Then you’ll only have another 140 songs left. All crazy good.
I do NOT recommend Mayday until you're very familiar with each Home Free guy. It won't make as much impact or sense unless you fully know the guys & their usual performances. All the others listed, absolutely agree. Just NO MAYDAY yet. 😉

Keep'em coming, boys! Anything Home Free is just pure magic. Austin is the high tenor and he has his own channel with 160k subscribers where he shares both covers and originals, all worthy of a reaction. Tim, the bass, Ajay has his own channel with some good stuff as does the baritone, Chance. Originals as well as covers. All worth the time! These guys are just incredible musicians and human beings. Their cover of Undivided is clearly showing their hearts. 🥰🙏

Thank you so much for doing some more Home Free. Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

Yes Austin (The lead singer here) is their high tenor and can go higher than Rob which is their lower tenor (beard w/ glasses.) I enjoyed your reaction and also being a travel nurse is hard work and I have the utmost respect for what you are doing to help others. Thank you.

Austin is an incredible vocalist. He is probably one of the few that if he stepped away (lets not) and went out on his own from any A Capella group he could be a star. These guys and PTX are my go to peeps when I just want to hear great music. "Blue Ain't Your Color" is another of my favs. They are just so special.

Please do their "Butts Remix" next, and try not to laugh! I dare you. This was one of their quarantine videos. They are each in their homes recording their own parts (except for Austin who does the lead on this) who was in a studio with his lady, Amberly. If you notice, he looks away from the camera on occasion to let her know he's singing it to her. Most of their quarantine videos were done from home on their cell phones and then their arranger would piece them together in his studio making some spectacular video effects in the process. Great reactions guys!

You should check out some more of Home Free. you haven't seen any of the funny ones yet. You could do the Butts Medley Remix, Country Fried Pop Medley, Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, Hillbilly Bone. But really you can't go wrong with any of their songs.

Home Free is amazing. Another a cappella group that is just as good is VoicePlay. Their bass Geoff (Jeff) also has a 5 octave range, while the rest of the group have 4. They do more "theater songs" but have incredible harmonies as well. Their latest drop is the video game Halo theme and it will blow your minds. Goeff hits his record low of B0 in it. Please, it you react to that one watch it all the way to the end--it's a tribute to a friend and fellow gamer who died earlier this year. Carry On My Wayward Son is another excellent pick.

Again, I would not recommend Mayday just yet. If you don't know the guys & their typical roles, Mayday will not have the effect it deserves. Learn the guys names and maybe a good dozen songs or more, THEN Mayday will impress you out of your chair.

Five of them are from Minnesota and have been together & singing since their teens, the singer Austin Brown, is from Georgia and met the others on a cruise in which they were guest performers, Austin Brown ask them if he could join them, & the rest is history.
