Info about next episode for you @The Reel Rejects , mother of Mel will arrive from Noxus. This country is very, very about war and they don't get scared about getting hands dirty by blood. The episode will show it. But as an League of Legends player and lore reader, they do it for decades.
Do people not tell you that Silco and Jinx have a father and daughter relationship just because she is clingy doesn't mean it sexual attention she is a minor also so please stop with the sexual joke the fight between Ekko and Jinx is a flashback it shows them playing as kids when he pulls out the watch she immediately remembers and play along with him as you see from the flashback Jinx won but not this time
Powder just wanted to be cared for, and if anything, Vi and Ekko were the only two people left from her happy memory of childhood. I personally believe that the sad-scared face and the relieved look at the end was genuine. She was happy to see Ekko still cared for her, but she was in too deep so she chose to use a suicide boom, otherwise she could've easily take the advantage of his hesitation to fight back or even kill him.
Ekko stopped cuz he actually had a crush on Powder and even has a voice line where he says something along the lines of "I had a crush on you until you started talking to guns."
It's crazy to see how they show a scene where Silco is a badass feared by everyone and right after that they show a scene where he let's Jinx walk over him without doing anything in retaliation. Silco is definitely one of my favorite characters
@@ibrahimsurti4922 also I'm pretty sure at that point of his life, Jinx and most other people can probably easily overpower him (he's implied to be pretty old and he's a very small-statured man compared to powerhouses like Vander or Sevika). Only makes him more interesting cause he knows she can kill/hurt him, but he puts all his trust in her loyalty to him (kinda like he did with Sevika in episode 9)
Notice when Jinx hums when she walks through the wreckage - the very same tune she sang at the very opening in Ep1, in the very same place. The way she shoots a downed enforcer to finish them off - exact same thing an enforcer did to a trencher in the opening scene. Call her insane, but there's a point to be made that everything she's done and is about to do, is retribution for what's been done to her. She's the culmination of this cycle of violence, and she will never stop.
@@Volition366 I've heard a few things about a number of characters, some we haven't seen yet but were teased, like Warwick. But yeah, I'm trying to avoid too much. I'm glad I didn't know anything before Season 1.
Watching Powder slowly erode into Jinx is just painful. True to her nickname, she walks from one accident or misunderstanding to the next, digging herself deeper into her violent alter-ego each time.
This show was honestly heartbreaking. I knew how she'd end up because I play League but god damn, they had me wishing that they'd change her entire character and give her a happy end 😭
@@HaydrogenBomb that seems logical, most of the time spent on the first season was getting the talent together and making the assets. They have the foundation established and Riot I'm sure had the 2nd season storyboarded and ready to produce well before season 1 released.
I think Ekko remembered how he lost to her back in the day, and learned from it and managed to come out on top this time. So it was kind of making it seem like a superhero ability.
That Jinx vs Ekko fight might be my favorite scene in the series so far. Season 2 being announced makes me wonder how they will top that scene if they can
I'm not so sure you guys fully understand the depth of Marcus' tragedy. At first he was an a-hole enforcer that only saw themselves as good guys and the undercity all as bad guys and wanted to take them all down. He didn't understand what his previous superior Grayson was trying to do by keeping the peace and working with Vander. After the time skip it seems he now understands what she was trying to do but now his only option is to work with Silco which is a far worse option than Vander.
It's hard to sympathize with Marcus, yeah. He was a piece of shit from beginning to his death. But, he was painfully aware of it. I honestly think he would have raised a decent daughter exactly because of this awareness. He obviously thinks about walking out on Silco but he's in too deep. And his daughter's life got threatened towards the end. If anything, he probably wished his daughter would grew up to be more like Grayson, especially after seeing him take his daughter to Grayson's grave. I pity the daughter.
Vi and Cait's relationship is so well fucking done. Rare enough that we get this prominent of a queer romance in such a big show, but they handled it so well through showing their feelings through wordless body language and the framing of each other whenever we see their povs. there might not be an outright kiss or explicit declaration of romantic feelings, but it is undeniable.
This final act was incredible, Ekko and Jinx’s fight was very heartfelt seeing them go into that past-like trance during the fight, the animation and everything about it felt so well done.
Something I just noticed... when Viktor is dismantling the bomb and talking about weapons and choice with Jayce, the bomb activates. And I think I saw Viktor hesitate. Maybe for a moment he considered just letting it go off? This show is amazing with subtle emotion and expressions.

He doesn’t *yet* have this ability though. It’s more of a fan service nod to what Ekko can do but done so in a manner that is more grounded in where the narrative currently stands- that Ekko is simply remembering their games from the past and anticipating Jinx’s actions based on previous behavior to guess how she’ll act now. That said though, it is a really cool way to bring that element in though and have it work on multiple levels.

I've said this a bunch already and damn it, i'm saying it again. That Jinx and Ekko fight was one of, if not, the greatest fight in the entire show without a freaking doubt!!!!!!
What I love most about the fight between Ekko and Jinx is that no only is it a beuatiful sequence but its an amazing homage to Ekko’s abilities in the game too.
Actually IT IS very common for daughters to be sitting on their father's laps or clinging to them, jumping, and hugging them. It is... for infant daughters. The reason why it looks sexual is because Jinx is now an adult and no longer a child, but she's still acting like one around Silco. So yeah, it is NOT sexual, it just looks like it, due to Jinx's age. This is further proof for an argument you yourselves made about Jinx still being the little insecure and afraid kid we saw at the beginning of the show. Also notice that Silco is never the one to approach Jinx, is Jinx whose always all over Silco. Even in the scene where she's holding his neck on the chair, Silco tells Jinx to focus and grabs her by her wrist with seriousness. If they had a sexual thing going on, it would've made more sense to actually grab her hand directly, but he doesn't. Another scene is when Silco is "cleansing" Jinx on the river (bible baptism parallelism), Silco does grabs Jinx with tenderness, but I'd argue is because he's being gentle here, not because he's being "romantic". If they were going for the sexual thing, then we'd already have seen Silco being touchy with her or straight out kissing with Jinx, but no. It's supposed to be awkward, because Jinx is the one who hasn't grown up yet.
Actually this happens before. My cousin being that close and touchy/huggy to her father (daddy's girl) is kinda normal she's about 16-17 but she's really acting like a child in front of her father and i think it depends how people look at it. And told them about other people thinks about it but for them it's normal and my cousin knew she loves her father as a father and don't think about anything malicious. And now she's 30 and still acts like one. (Edit: I just remembered she told me before not long ago when people mistook/misunderstood them as lovers/couple because of how close they were "we still have our boundaries even we're too close of course I'm a clingy type of person and duh we both know the difference between lover and a daughter")
she is being clingy because of her mental state sometimes she can't recognized which one is real or not because of her halllucinations. that is the reason why she asked if vi was real in ep 6.
I can't wait to see you guys reaction at the end. I think I've said this before but this show is a 10 out of 10 and perfect in every aspect to me. Definitely one of my favorite animations ever.
*I think another reactor pointed out that from Silco’s perspective it is father daughter relationship, but from Jinx’d perspective she has likely a romantic confusing attachment to him. Which is why they’re uncomfortable to watch. I like that perspective because it seems Silco really deeply cared for Jinx with the father boundary.*
I can't wait for you to see the next 2 episodes you guys are gonna be SO BLOWN AWAY! I did not think i could love any more but it really goes to yet again another level! Im kind of new to this but please let your hair down is so awesome... i just want play with it! And i hope you get better, sucks to feel sick. I dont know if you guys caught that but when Jinx is looking down how amazing they cleverly put her ghost getting bigger and bigger until she can't even hear her own thoughts!
I've been peeping their videos for the last month or so, but I don't know their names---the guy on the right in the Spidar man chair---I just wanna hug him. He's so emotional, and his emotions match my own. I love seeing his reactions to these shows.
In the game ekko is called the boy who shattered time, because he made something that lets him go back a few seconds. So I took that as two ways he actually got shot by jinx and then used that ability or they’ve played that game enough ekko knows how jinx’s shoots and avoided every shot. Either ways good for me
Marcus also did not kill Vi, even though he was ordered to, but instead locked her up. (At least that's how I understood it, and even if, not sure how much better that is) He might also have saved Powders life by keeping Vi from returning to her, but who knows how things would have changed if Vi only would have been able to return to her sister. Honestly, it saddens me so much how tragic Powder/Jinx's story is. At this point she is probably irredeemable, which just sucks. She was such a cute kid who just wanted to help. And her sister was extremely supportive and loving except for this one moment, but unfortunately it was a crucial moment. (And to be fair, the fact that it was only that one time and it completely turned Powder to the dark side felt a bit unrealistic to me, but whatever)
15:08 Listen closely. Right before the bomb went off, you'll hear a very quick "clank". I think it was Elko hitting that bomb with something metallic, which is why both him and Jinx survived that explosion.
things that require a masters degree to be able to handle: -a very poisonous chemical. -a nuclear reactor. -a heartbroken badass skinny blue-haired girl. I mean, honestly, the badass blue-haired girl is challenge enough.... good luck with the heartbroken part.
I am a lol player and I like the lore, nothing happens if they do not remember some name or say it wrong is part of the experience of knowing a new world, I am annoyed by the toxics who are offended by that.... I am from Colombia and I love to see your reactions even if I do not know almost English, do not be afraid of making a mistake just be sincere and be yourself
Ekko still doesn't have that power guys. That scene just shows how they used to play as kids and now as grown ups Ekko uses that memory of her mannerisms to dodge her bullets
Dude they arent following the game down to the letter or the lore and dont have to just like you dont have to hae that tech for him to be able to do that. Also also until the actual writers come out and say something nobody is really wrong...
The one redeeming thing Marcus did - He does prevent Vi from going after Powder at the end of episode 3 which probably saves her life. Still not disappointed he got iced.
We actually did get a claim for briefly using a song in one of the episodes. It’s in dispute right now. Have a good chance of winning it though I think
Is that actually the case, or is everybody mixing it up all of Riot's other music projects, like Sessions: Vi, which was safe for creators. I would assume the rules are different for Riot produced music released on their own versus something released in conjunction with Netlfix. And in the past they have emphasized that creators are not protected if how they are using the music seen as commercially exploitative OR if it's not on (for example) their Spotify playlist of creator safe songs... any song not on their requires you to get a license from riot and/or the collaborating artists. They also make no mention of using their music as it plays with a show, and they absolutely want creators crediting the music. Lastly... all the music absolutely has a copyright owner, with us only being able to use it at their discretion.
Also, if you recall those headtouches Jinx does with Silco she did with Vi when Powder and Vi lost their parents in the war between Zaun and Piltover at the start of the series before Vander adopted them. The strong implication being considering what we found out later Vander felt guilty for convincing Powder and Vi`s parents to fight in the war when he was still more philosophically aligned with Silco.
bro im not gonna lie Silko is really patient with jinx lol she all stabbing him in the face with a needle and he stayed calm instead of yelling at her ROFL
To be fair about Marcus, if he didn’t knock Vi out back then, she definitely would have been killed by Silco along with Powder. Granted, that’s about the only good thing he did.
I didnt even think of this as a video game adaptation until you said it just now. The league lore has always been way better than the game it self so I guess Ive always seen the game as an adaptation of the lore.
To explain the Ekko vs Jinx fight... In the game Ekko has this tech that allows him to rewind time. His cinematic shows this off really good. In that he fights this guy rewinding time each to he falters. But only he remembers how it played out. Now this tech hasnt been evented yet so I could be wrong. But the fact that he takes a paint ball to the chest and then when fighting for what looked like the second time you can hear a ping right before he jumps like he just blocked that same shot that would have hit the right side of his chest. Also the shocked look on Jinx's face. Also also the rewind just like in Ekko cinematic. Just too on the nose. So I am sticking to believing Ekko rewound time. At least that what I wanna believe happened lol
Damn, that Ekko v Jinx kind of remind me with the snowball fight in Chainsaw Man, imagine how poetic would it be when they animated that fight. Jinx: Aki (if you read the manga, you will understand) Ekko: Denji Vi: Power Caitlyn: Quanxi Silco: Makima Viktor: Reze Heimerdinger: Himeno Jayce: Angel Devil Powder: Kobeni Vander: Kishibe

Jinx is voiced by Bautista's daughter in Army of the Dead.
Ella Purnell. And vi is voiced by Kate bishop herself Hailee Steinfeld.
@@xmequex2381 Yes in jinx case she has some psychological issues and she has a childs heart.
Well I’m 20 and I’m kinda acting like that with my dad as well
@@imtheelephant ikr I don't seem to find it weird but you can easily tell if there's some malice out of it.
@@mooglechrome1770 yeah exactly
I can't wait to see you guys reaction at the end. I think I've said this before but this show is a 10 out of 10 and perfect in every aspect to me. Definitely one of my favorite animations ever.
Me, Ekko main watching the fighting scene made my brain hype and blow tf out...
Without a doubt one of the best animated shows I've ever seen! Can't wait for more!!
Lmao *hears rap,” is this the JID verse from the theme”..does this sound like the theme???
Ekko’s power in League is a rewind time thing that does damage, so I think that’s what they were going for in the crazy animation scene
In the game ekko is called the boy who shattered time, because he made something that lets him go back a few seconds. So I took that as two ways he actually got shot by jinx and then used that ability or they’ve played that game enough ekko knows how jinx’s shoots and avoided every shot. Either ways good for me
They played enough to know where she was going to shoot
He hasn’t developed the tech yet to do time manipulation but it’s definitely a tease for what’s to come.
I think it was Elko hitting that bomb with something metallic, which is why both him and Jinx survived that explosion.
things that require a masters degree to be able to handle:
-a very poisonous chemical.
@@mbe1432 You don't even get what i'm saying watch the scene again it's pretty clear to me what they tried to portray in that scene
The one redeeming thing Marcus did - He does prevent Vi from going after Powder at the end of episode 3 which probably saves her life. Still not disappointed he got iced.
None of the music in Arcane is copyrighted so you can actually include them in reaction videos.
I fuckin LOVE you guy's reaction to this series!!! It's so genuine. It's cool to come here and nerd out with you guys. Peace!
She's a little girl trapped inside of a hot girl 😂😂😂
Jinx is a mix of crazyness of Harley Quinn and the Joker.
It's all about the boom with Jinx, in even as powder she rushed into making that explosion without thinking. Even blasted she was thrilled.
I can’t get over the fact that Silco’s voice actor is Wally West from Young Justice.
1:49 We are yelling right now actually 🤣🤣
clicking on my notifications and seeing "1 minute ago" on this
you LOVE to see it
Also, if you recall those headtouches Jinx does with Silco she did with Vi when Powder and Vi lost their parents in the war between Zaun and Piltover at the start of the series before Vander adopted them.
Bruh there's no sexual tension between jinx and silco holy shit 🤣 wait until next two eps I guess
League players knows what ekko can do to and the ekko vs jinx showed us that even without zerodrive he has a literal plot ARMOR 😆
Greg high on medicine is so funny😂 Get well soon💐🍻
4:04 I almost cried thank you for saying it was a joke :)
I had no idea how to put that
I'll never be able to watch that scene again and not think 'It's my Enemy badge!"
I heard they're already working on the second season. I'm so excited!!!
If you didn't notice, the Chem Barons were hanging out in a greenhouse because in Zaun, even fresh air is a luxury!
To be fair about Marcus, if he didn’t knock Vi out back then, she definitely would have been killed by Silco along with Powder. Granted, that’s about the only good thing he did.
Marcus was a very interesting and realistic character
someone stuck between bad past decisions
and definitely not as bad as you guys were saying
Ekko is my new wallpaper.
I didnt even think of this as a video game adaptation until you said it just now.
The league lore has always been way better than the game it self so I guess Ive always seen the game as an adaptation of the lore.
I wish so much for Vi to just say something to Powder. This was the last chance to save her. After this Powder is truly dead
I Love the sarcasm Lmao! Currently waiting for your reaction for the end of the Act 3.
Heimerdinger's race is called Yordle.
He is wearing scouts jacket🙂❣️
"ep 9 is all scissoring" lmao i can't
Never cried so much from a show☹️
I got so damn happy that ekko finally revealed himself
Was waiting for this
To explain the Ekko vs Jinx fight...
Isn't this a spoiler for them?
It's funny you guys mention Jayce making an Iron Man suit, in the game Jayce has a skin inspired by Iron Man.
This show is absolutely amazing 👏
I'm on Episode 9 of this show!
I absolutely love it!! What a beautiful series!
15:40 you guys seem taxed after watching that lol - I did the last 3 eps back to back, man what a ride.
Damn, that Ekko v Jinx kind of remind me with the snowball fight in Chainsaw Man, imagine how poetic would it be when they animated that fight.
Jinx: Aki (if you read the manga, you will understand)
Ekko: Denji
Vi: Power
Caitlyn: Quanxi
Silco: Makima
Viktor: Reze
Heimerdinger: Himeno
Jayce: Angel Devil
Powder: Kobeni
Vander: Kishibe
